  1. That would be the plan with the corsa my family has. it is in the air that I might (hopefully) get it if I will renew the insurance on my name, then I would lower it probably a little...
  2. just ordered the upper headset wedge from tarty, and they told me to modify it to the neon bow headset! They are truly the best, the only way they could improve their services would be to offer similar services as Dan do (insert Lenny face here)
  3. first of all, it is called upper headset wedge, not cup, sorry I messed them up secondly, contacted tarty as Mark said, and now they have the wedge on tartys website, just waiting them confirming that it is the good size and I order it right away!
  4. ohh yeah, forgot to mention: Neon Bow in red http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/images/custom/headsets/large_neonbow2.jpg I am missing the bottom middle part.
  5. Hey guys I took apart my bike a few days ago with the intention to ride it in Belfast. Of course, the weather was bad that day, so I brought the bike back but now, I do not have the top wedge for the headset. the part that goes between the headset and the stem. Is there anyway to buy just the wedge? In the meantime I will try to find that wedge though.. EDIT: I changed cup to wedge, as the cup and bearing is in place but the wedge is missing!
  6. The reason for the petrol is that if you leave your metal tank open for months, the petrol fumes and air can corrode it badly. But if its being used, it is fine then!
  7. full tank of petrol, also check your fuel filters as well. Petrol nowadays is more than just pure petrol, and every additional stuff can sunk down creating gunk Check your oil, whether it is actually works at cold temperatures basically that is it and what you said (coming from my 2 stroke "golden" era)
  8. I see At the moment I am travelling ridiculous amounts, although it might getting reduced by uni... so the best way would be to wait until uni and see how much I travel. on a side note, in February I will travel to Macclesfield and to Kettering, and these small travels would be really hard to sort out without a car. even from Kettering to Birmingham will be a car+train event, then flights.
  9. and how is the travel between cities? Are trains/buses fairly priced and run freqently, ? is it easy to get across England? Here in Northern Ireland you have some lines that comes from Belfast. So if you want to travel north by train, the first you must travel to east than north west...
  10. I just got an email, Ill go for a week to do a week long competition in Finland! Also we are doing a project with boolean gates and I have an example work, the best of the best from 2007. I could do a better job, in less time than him. Profession goes well
  11. generic question of the day: Here, in Northern Ireland you must have a car, as public transport is expensive and not too convenient, does not go too often, not for too long.. so you get the point but what about in England? I am going to move to England for sure, as Northern Ireland is lovely, it is way too quiet for me. I am planning to move either to Birmingham or Leeds/York, so far I got an offer for Leeds, interview for York, and my UCAS profile is with the admission teacher at Birmingham. How is the public transport in general, is it worth to maintain a cheap car, like a ford focus 1.6 or something that class, next to uni, or I should be fine with public transport? I will have like a grand per month, and I will pay around £4-500 per month for house
  12. I think it was good riding, good sets. only complaints are that it is not *that* a good DH video, nor a DH trial video.. Still have room to develop but he has potential, in street trials for sure
  13. yesterday the weather was 10C sunny, so I took my bike apart, folded and pushed it into my "huge" Corsa This morning it was windy and cold so I said nay for riding Then it was a blizzard no riding for a while then.
  14. you could also move the mounts forward and rear a bit, so you can adjust the wheel to the best position for the chain have a play with them, there is a tarty video how to set up them properly that might help you!
  15. I think today is the day when I will ride for 90 minutes (Tarty says to bed in freewheels in couple of hours.)

  16. After I got a course on Friday, and I have been told that I can solder up to IPC 610 Class 2, I could get class 3 if I practice some placing a JLegged device, as it was off by half a mm, so I am really glad about it. Biggest concern at the moment that I will have a competition in May, where I need to develop my skills and habits to be in the top 10 Electronic Engineers in the World and for that I must have a top notch soldering station. School has 3 at the moment, but my headteacher who organizes this competition in this region, does not want to give me it for some weird reasons.. so I might buy one for around £180, included some tips, flux and flux remover Also I have a project to design, route than build an DAC (simple one) in 7 hours, will be interesting.
  17. I would say( with my great great experience /sarcasm ) that wait for Friday and talk to her. We are just bunch of guys over the internet, it is your relationship, it is you who should talk about it and sort it out
  18. HS11 does not have a TPA ( a small screw that you can adjust the pads) but try this. There are 2 bolts on your mount, screw one of them out for half a turn-1 turn. After pull the brake slightish. the caliper will push itself away from the rim evenly, then just tighten the bolts, and voila
  19. tr-tri-tri-triple post it is a generally rule of thumb on the internet : do not post personal problems on the internet unless you want to hear many biased opinions. Everyone here tries to look at the problem at their point of view, but the fact is no one has any feelings here for your girlfriend, apart from you, and at the end it is your call to write your feelings here it is a good place though, as it is a good community
  20. I say it does feel amazing. Not at riding, but whenever you try to take off your wheel it is really easy to do, and if you transport it frequently it is great ATM I have an Echo Front hub, that is hard to install and remove, it is really tight on the whole of the fork , and if I tight the bolts, the wheel does not spin freely... I kinda miss my Hope :/
  21. I want to see them. but this time around could you use like arrows or red circles to show the change?
  22. Had an awesome week I got a 4 day training about how to perform at our very best at heat and stress, also how to stay in focus, how to get in a fit condition, it was more interesting and useful than it sounds There were some reealy hot girls there as well, and it was a generally good place to be. although the rest of the group knew each other for like a year or more, we just hopped in at least they were friendly. Also it was interesting to be with the best of the skill students in UK, and Europe I also attended a soldering course, I know now how to solder, and what tools should I use Cannot wait for the weather to turn from icy windy shit to a better one to ride!
  23. I know what a potato is! I will give it a good read after I come back from work anyway
  24. then again high quality individual parts has a higher price Rads can be changed easily At least you can pic your fans though without paying for other 2
