  1. And yess, I have a leaking exhaust The car got louder, and it is getting louder on daily basis. Was not sure what causing it, as my valves are loud too in the morning I started the car cold, and tada, the mesh part that connects the downpipe to the back tube was fuming beautifully... So Monday will be repair day, until then I have a noisier car
  2. my car makes some weird noises Basically it is louder a little, you can hear it mostly around idle, and if the revs go down, you hear small bangs. it has a deeper tone we guess it is the exhaust but we cannot really identify it behind the noise of the valves... the fun of cheap cars .
  3. I have a friend here in Northern Ireland, he has a massive, like roomsize 20 Ton CNC and some "smaller" like 2x2M CNC machines Do you want me to get in contact with him?
  4. I will see what happens Today I calculated my probability for May, to the competition where it will be decided whether I am going to have any freetime in the summer or not, and I realised that I am not up to International level for sure, and there is only a tiny chance to get my programming up. So I keep the bike. I must do sport, because I started to gain weight and I must stop it before it gets worse
  5. that is the reason why I did it only half a year max, as staring at a white wall is not exciting in any ways At the moment it is the busiest time of my life, thankfully, and if everything goes well, summer will be mental too. I need something that can be done indoors anytime I need to keep a level of fitness. Sadly trials is none of those, and then there is the chance of parts breaking too.. My life changed and I got to change too. On a side note: I am preparing for an event in May, where it will be decided whether I am in the top 10 electro student in the world, but it means, as someone who started his first electro course 1.5 years ago, all out studying. I am doing it, although I have next to none social life since september, and it really worries me. To be the best you must make some compromises, I just need to hold on till September
  6. Changed the oil and the filter in the car as it turned out the car had 20W-50 instead of xW-40 oil.. anyway it has the proper oil now I have been told to not to spend to much on the car as it does not worth it, use it for my Bonus then try to sell it as it will not do too many more miles Happy days. So airfilter changed, oil and filter changed, next step will be sealing up the brake pedal, as it is leaking heavily when it is raining
  7. so I think we can conclude is that quantum physics is strange
  8. As far as I am aware they are "extracting" existing materials from the particles, I did not follow that part that closely if I want to be honest. And this is me making an a$$ of myself: These are a byproduct of the collision BTW you have strange topics with your wife
  9. ... Okay, I give it a go sometimes. might worth a try
  10. I am based in Northern Ireland, 30 miles from Belfast I went to the gym twice for half a year. It is okay, but after half a year it become boring for me, as I do not want to get ripped, and all I want is to be fit I will go back to trials, but as the next half a year will be strange, many trips to England, Finland, hopefully Brazil, then move to England... this seems like a good option, if I do not want my bike just gathering dust in my room
  11. Bike is up for sale. After I have not used for like half a year, and I will not use it for a while I think it is time to sell it up :/ Kinda angry, as I must do some sport, and I need some sport that is not trials it will be gym probably..
  12. the car shakes as hell, the enginemounts are crap, and there is no extra power around there just noise it does feel like it is going to get trashed, kinda scary
  13. Im an official car owner now I trash my car hard in a straight line sometimes. Changing gears at 4.5-5 k, rev limiter at 6, makes the car more responsive surprisingly
  14. I used both, and this one seems decent for me Isoprophyl alcohol is a 98% alcohol solution, that swipes stuff really clean, leaves no residue behind. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Isopropyl-Alcohol-Wipes-Swabs-for-Tattoo-Piercing-Nails-NHS-Grade-70-IPA-/130902799106?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=&hash=item1e7a6a3302 Here is ten for £1, but ask your local pharmacy they should have a few for cheaper. I tried different solutions, like nail polish remover, but that does not work, and you want a 100% clean surface for better conductivity So what you do: 1st step: Take off heatsink. If it stuck to the cpu twist it, DO NOT try to pull it off with force! 2: clean everything, the CPU and the heatsink. if you just bought it, clean it too, it will not hurt it. DO NOT touch the CPU or heatsinks part where it connects the CPU, it will get greasy and dirty 3: apply a pea size ball in the middle of CPU. Does not need to be huge. With this technique you will eliminate the possibility of air bubbles(=bad) whereas the credit card and likes are introducing bubbles 4: push the heatsink down in 1 move to the CPU then lock it into place. Tadaaa, you have done it!
  15. So: Sylicone: they work, but I have worked with them, honestly they are not the greatest Silver: it is very good, good for most usage Gold, liquid metal and stuff: not needed http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Arctic-MX-2-Thermal-Paste-4g-Cooling-for-PC-XBOX-360-PS3-no-Silver-/111476961965?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item19f48b72ad This is a proper paste, I use it and I get good temperatures. Make sure that you clean with the CPU and the cooler with isopropyhl alcohol ( you should get some wipes from your local pharmacy) and then apply a small pea size in the middle Forget about the credit card version or make an X or something, the Pea method is the best. When you will apply the heatsink it will be nice and even. and if you need to take off the cooler after the pasting, you need to repaste it
  16. So you are saying cookies are your enemies? I should have tried that, although I do not have that reference... maybe next year
  17. Today was a strange day Woke up 10 am, that was nice, lunch and doing nothing till 1 pm. I started to make an insurance on my car from 1st of April, so confused.com, yes, I can get £500 insurance.. go to the website shoots up to £1500. Never found that £500 quote again... So now I am payin £73 per month instead of £43. It is okay, as I need a car here, but not a good thing.... Went to the dentist, cannot feel my face, it is strange, I am hungry too.. Today I will do a nightshift, 8pm to 8am, will be long, I will bring my boards there as I suck at embedded C programming, it will be a long and uneventful night hopefully
  18. okay, f*ck off with your "science", lets make this thread title true! http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/science/large-hadron-collider/11489442/Big-Bang-theory-could-be-debunked-by-Large-Hadron-Collider.html In CERN they are about to create some black holes to prove new dimensions! okay, let me explain this There is are equations ( only care to open it if you are drunk and/or have too much freetime, or you are a scientist) that basically says that if you create small black holes at "only 5 TeV (Terravolt, stupid amount of power still) then it will prove that there are 6 dimensions, if they can create a blackhole at 10 TeV it proves 10. In dimension I am not talking about an alternate universe where you are shagging Mila Kunis and Jennifer Lawrence on a daily basis(sadly) but much like the 3 dimension we live in and the 4th dimension, time, we try to live in. Here is a small article by CERN to help explain this Quantum physics, disproving Albert Einstein, called "spooky action at distance"? Basically there is a thing called quantum entanglement. It is a rather strange thing, that actually proves, that a paired (entangled atom) can change its spin in a split second... at any distance. Read the article as they do a better job explaining than I will ever be able to, and there is a cool video as well This article talks about how an hour extra sleep boots women sex drive by 14%/ so @dann2707 and @Jardo, just tell your Tinder "friends" to have a big sleep before you meet I am sorry, there are no conspiracy theories, but true facts, that will change your life( or your child life) +1 You want to ride a trials bike for 500 years? yes? great, than your future is in our Skynets hand, I want to say Google, where their health research group (seriously, they know our interests, what do we like, cars we will travel in, mobiles we are going to use... Terminator begins here) they say that in a "short" (50 ish years) period of time they might be able to make humans live for 500 years.... If chemtrails let you live, where they respond: "Do not worry about chemtrails, the computers will rise in 2045, you will be long dead anyway lol"
  19. it only happened when the holes are offset for me, when they were in line, there was no problem
  20. one major fault with the game The quote is from dann2707 but everyone knows his name is Dan "Tinder Midget" "dann2199413584652187" Bumall Cox But I do like the self irony, seems fun!
  21. He was indeed, but I am 100% sure that these did not helped him, but this assault would get him a last warning or sacked for the first time, without the PC stuff
  22. here not the PC was the problem, as BBC kept Jeremy in, just gave him warnings, but the assault to one of his colleague that was over the top, as usually at many workplace They had 2 chance: keep Jeremy in, and basically tell the world and BBC employees, that you can do whatever you want, as long as you earn us big bucks, or sack Jeremy to show that BBC is a workplace, where everyone is get treated equally at serious matters.. They did the right thing.
  23. http://www.theguardian.com/media/2015/mar/25/jeremy-clarkson-top-gear-contract-bbc Basically they will not renew his contract, not sure how official is it (rumour)
  24. told him a while back he lost them completely They were great helps though
