    Jobs.

what qualifications do you have? sounds like you would ideally like a job working with cars..?
  2. that really is f**king incredible...massive kahunas
  3. i'v just asked...and he remembers it being 155mm....tis definitely not standard...although i expect 150mm could work..? as above..i don't remember them having freehubs either..but the previous owner might've put a new freehub on? Chances are it was shit...weld it and front freewheel for sure adam
  4. one of me riding buddies has an old megamo frame and it does indeed have a funny size hub...i think it was 150mm?! best idea i think is to weld the broken freehub fixed and run a front freewheel adam
  5. awesome footage...i can't work out who alot of those people are..? says fontenoy in the list at the end- which bit was that? adam
  6. made perfect sense...all of it! where was the flip over the fire though...?
  7. any decent weld needs the right atmosphere so it's not really anything special...and its a relatively thin section.. I'm still with Dan...in that i'd expect it to be absolutely fine for a good while yet- you can definitely introduce alot more problems by welding over it if it didn't need it in the first place.. keep an eye on it for sure though. Build it up and see! It can't take very long to build a unicycle..? you are definitely a perfectionist..most of your topics wouldn't even cross alot of peoples' minds! good luck with it.. adam
  8. i have to say..its a terrible picture with the flash..but i don't think there's really anything to worry about there. I'd leave it as it is and maybe check it now and then to see if it does become a problem.. As you said, it's only a simple repair bead so anyone with the right stuff can do it, probably even if they haven't welded Ti before. If you really can't find a yellow pages, try yell.com generally Ti does need heat treating after welding..for the usual reason- material shrinks when it solidifies and leaves stresses behind..if you do get it done though..see what the bloke says adam
  9. its probably in the middle of nowhere! take the bike and bash a log anyways..
  10. i dreamt that my chain snapped...i flew backwards..bike went forwards and didn't make the gap, front wheel hit the opposite wall, forks snapped, bike flipped up in the air and went in a river.. and i couldn't reach it! bad times
  11. aahahhahahah..still looks awesome!
  12. its just so that the insert doesn't undo when you undo a pedal...not a problem till you need to change pedals, and even then it's simple enough to use a vice.
  13. awesome...rail stuff was mint all your vids are so happy..was only a matter of time till the song was just someone saying happy.. adam
  14. gaps to front are heeeeewge! clip of scott was mint
  15. they'll be fine...f**k it mine are
  16. i do remember sidehops really hurting my knee a few years ago... hmmm
  17. it can be done and used just fine..but be aware that people do sometimes break the pad guide pins off the slaves.. you just need to bleed as normal, do the bolts back up, then hold the pads out by placing something underneath them (EG: matchsticks) to pull the pistons out slightly. Undo the lever bleed bolt, top up, bolt back. Sorted.. the resting position of the pads is now slightly further out than it was...and all is well. edit- just read the 1/2" thing...that's a loooong way!
  18. BIGGEST DISTRACTION EVER!! awesome stuff...he really gets over the front wheel nowadays.. love that song...and that dog? is it gilles'? seen him in a few vids..it's got faith. adam
