  1. Pretty impressive how he lands on his feet, the bike goes flying. What a wanker of a driver.
  2. Well if you ever use those £20 Maguras off ebay, send me an email to confirm if there genuine at : clarkehutchison@btinternet.com Cheers Bye
  3. Nice vid/edit If you try relaxing and bending your knees a bit more it might help you get up and down even bigger obstacles. :wink2: What frame is that? Edit: Just noticed its an onza limey.
  4. Very nice bike, but orange over blue
  5. Yeh that would be great, thanks
  6. Thanks for the help, I think I'll give this one a miss.
  7. Decided to build a lightweight stock bike, can't wait to get started. Let me know if you have any parts for sale.

  8. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/380943174257 I was thinking about ordering this hydraulic rim brake, can anyone tell if this is the 2011 model and also does it have a four finger lever? I think it looks a bit dodgy because of the white cover and the limited description. I am not sure if it is the official matura hs11. The weight also says 445g but on tartybikes it is 290g without clamps.
  9. Most echo parts are built of great quility so either you are scared of admitting that you have over tightened it or you dont know your own strength
  10. I also don't see what else could of caused that.
  11. I have never ordered anything from there but this might help : http://www.trustpilot.co.uk/review/www.aliexpress.com
  12. As title says i am wondering has anyone used the Avid Magnesium V-brake: http://www.mtbr.com/...297_108crx.aspx I would be using it as a front brake, how does it compare to the avid sd7 and avid ultimate ? Would it work well with a sd7 lever ?
  13. Thats just reminded me to bleed mine aswell, bollocks You should use antifreeze and water so your break still feels better than oil.
  14. £50 ?!? or more, that rim is quite rare
  15. After hearing great reviews of the troy lee designs XC gloves i got some last year. They ripped after 5 weeks on both thumbs, maybe they were a faulty pair but i didn't risk using them again.
  16. I am using these at the moment : http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=78127 For £12 they are amazing, very flexible, they are comfortable and fit the hand tightly, the added texture on top of the finger tips are great for the grip on the lever. The only downside is they are not very warm so that might be a problem.
  17. High roller for sure, my big betty slipped all over the place especially in the wet. When switching from my big betty back to the high roller the grip is in a different level on the high roller. Also less likely to punture and you can use lower tyre pressure.
  18. Nice one, not a fan of the music though.
  19. Great vid, love that bike. But what happened at 1.10
  20. Thats the way to do it (enough but not to much to make it look silly), looks great and light
  21. In the summer when all the tourists were about in my village, i got a punture while gaping onto a rock. I always have a punture repare kit in my bag in case things like this happen. After finding the hole in my tube i stuck the patch on with the glue, as normal excess glue came out the sides. When i thought the patch was firmly stuck i lifted my hands up, but the tube was stuck to my fingers. I was quite frustrated at this point, i looked at the brand of glue and it was normal super glue, not to be used for rubber! It was properly stuck now, if i wanted it off i would have to rip my skin right off. Some people had now noticed me standing there with a tube stuck to my fingers, i felt like a right twat.
  22. The TSG superlight helmet arrived this morning, when i took it out of the box i was amazed by how light it was. It fits very snug and low on my head. The fiting is that good that i can wear it without the strap tied and i shake my head about and it stays on perfect. I haven't had a chance to use it properly yet but you can hardly feel it on your head when wearing it because of the lightness and comfort. It also comes with different sized pads to get a perfect fit. If you are wondering what helmet to buy this is the one.
