  1. Thanking you dearly. Thats exactly the sort of thing i wanted mate. Cheers,
  2. Pretty much as the title says really - all i have been able to find is them crappy mission ones or this other wierd design i have never seen before on trialsin. If somebody has a link to a decent set of 4-bolt to v-brake adapters please share with me. Thanks, stu
  3. Glad you liked it - next thing you know you'll be trying acid and 2cb!
  4. Yeah it does that to me too, but its funny as hell, i look down the living room at the curtains and it looks like they are all moving in crazy directions and stuff, pretty cool.
  5. I dunno if im just being stupid here but i know that elephant is to give the illusion of having loads of feet, looking at the bottom though it seems to have 5 feet ? Anyways if you really wanna have a good little screw up of your vision go for this. Follow the instructions, just stare at the middle of the screen then when it says to, look away. You will see everything in the room moving and stuff, its great. Stu
  6. As some of you may know i have a peugeot 406, the white one. Its actually fixed and all working again now. But! my water warning light keeps coming on the dash board. Sometimes it comes on and goes away, then comes back then goes again. sometimes it doesnt come on at all, and sometimes it doesnt turn off. The thing is i've checked my water levels and its at maximum, and has been at maximum every time i have checked it. Anybody know the solution to my problem? Cheers, stu
  7. HA HA HA! thats quality, who made that up then ?
  8. Gotta have a Range Rover supercharged sports edition, Mercedes SLR Subaru Impreza STI Corvette C6 Ferrari F50
  9. Yeah it does block loads of stuff but ever since i've used it i've never had 1 single virus problem and it seems to treat pretty much all spyware stuff. But now i've used it for about the last 2 years i've finally figured how to get everything to function properly and safely. cheers, stu
  10. you see i know that picture i posted is supposed to light up the middle letters - because i made it! No your avatar doesnt seem to be doing anything on my screen either. I have no idea in the slightest how to correct this. Well i've narrowed it down to the firewall, i just disabled it and the images seem to be showing - now i have to try and work out how to let gifs through, oh joy! Wohay seem to have fixed it, its under the ad-blocking on ZoneAlarm a little box that was checked that was disabling "animations" b*****d computers! Cheers for your help anyway Dan, have a cookie on me stu
  11. Its as the title says really, .gif images dont seem to be working on my computer, its the first time its ever happened and i've never heard of it happening to anybody before so i have no clue what do do. Any suggestions....? ** Does this picture do anything on your computers?? **
  12. I have dreamweaver/photoshop etc. and i know how to use them, i've made a fair share of websites, its just been at least a year since i used css and dont really wanna try learning it again just to make this one website and i cant see it being possible to get the positioning i need without using css. With regards to your image thing, you should be able to modify this http://www.dynamicdrive.com/dynamicindex4/php-photoalbum.htm If you look at the HTML section it gives the variable for how many images you want displayed, if you just choose 1x1 it should just display the one picture. Move all your images to one directory and get the php script linked to this, then change the writing where it says "page 1, page 2" etc into an image of an arrow or whatever you want the link displayed as and just give it the same location to direct to when clicked. Not sure if its quite what you want but with some modifications to the script it could work for you.
  13. I've added you Simon, "broomyboy742@hotmail.com" Cheers,
  14. Im not sure what i can pay, im still trying to get my damn car fixed If you could quote something that you would like for payment i shall see what i can get sorted.
  15. I need a website and i know the talent of some of you people out there. I havent done any web design for at least a year now and have honestly forgotten pretty much all the css stuff i used to know and purely havent got the time. Anybody think they can help out? stu
  16. The no-cd crack is already installed so the game is running how it should be. Cheers for your help mate.
  17. Alcohol??? Inur - your a genius, i opened the ISO in winRAR and it displayed the setup.exe file straight away, gave it a double click and everything is installed. Top notch mate. Cheers, stu
  18. I've got myself an .ISO file that i would like to run, its a game. I have tried using MagicISO to extract the file but when i go to File > Open > Battlefield 1942.ISO it says "Cant find the file or file isnt CD image file!" Anybody have any ideas on what i need to do? Cheers, stu
  19. I had to go with this option but i used a petrol stihl saw, matter of seconds to get the cranks off.
  20. Well done! Sorry. Anyways, the BB area takes some of the most stress on the bike, i believe this because every frame i have snapped/cracked has been around the BB area so i would strongly suggest keep checking around the welds for cracks fairly often, you dont want the BB shell to suddenly rip off when your in the middle of something. If you want the strength back you could always take it to someone who you know can do some welding and just get them to put it back together for you but it will screw up any paint work around the welded area. stu
  21. i had the exact same problem and it was due to the direction of the grind, say you try getting up a wall and hit it a bit low, the brake would just slide all the way back down. All i can suggest like other people is changing the grind direction.
  22. wohoooooooooooo finally! a silent Bottom Bracket - cheers for all help, its much appreciated.
  23. the tool is exactly the same as that picture except where the one in the picture has the sides capable of taking an open ended spanner mine is completely round. So i had an idea!!! Took into into the shed and ground the shit out of it and gave it two flat sides so i just put my old rear wheel skewer through the BB and locked the tool into place and VOILA! removed BB - doesnt look like theres any grease left in there at all and i've got some oily brown water type stuff all over it, niiiiice. Any suggestions other than a clean up and regrease all over ?
  24. Mine doesnt allow that option - i have to put a ratchet in the end of mine and turn it, so i normally stand on it and pull against the frame whilst tapping it gently with a hammer. And yeah i definately know which way its meant to be turned.
  25. So now what do i do with the drive side and lock ring both rounded off ?
