  1. Gap, drop, gap, drop, gap, drop. Still some very good looking moves there from someone at 14 years old. We obviously can't be expecting the best we have ever seen. Definitely got some balls there though. Just as a recommendation try capturing some videos of going up things. At the moment we are seeing that you can certainly gap and do drops with gaps etc. Would be soooooo nice to see you being able to make it up some nice sized walls to then add your already developing skills to it. Like PhenoVenom says "where are the lines?" look for something that could even be small and add variation to it, something like hop manual along a wall, gap to another wall then just before the drop off do a 1 hander or crank flip. This sort of stuff you may be wanting to try at low heights until you have got it but it seems like you can pick things up quite easily. Eventually with the right editing all makes for a sweet ass video, wish im guessing is your acomplishment. Just a suggestion mate but a good video, makes me cry that i wasnt that good at your age  keep it up, stu (Y)
  2. windows update this website SHOULD (said loosely) be able to find out what sound card you have and install the driver for it. It sounds stupid but also check the obvious things like your speakers are actually working and havent died, the connection cable hasnt come out a bit. If you have automatic updates on your computer enabled there is some CMI Audio driver thingy that has been automatically downloaded by a lot of computers and i have now come across the problem a fair amount of times where this update has actually screwed things up i dont know why it just has. If you go into your control panel and you have a new icon saying "CMI audio config" then this could be the case. For this you would want to right click "my computer" go to properties, click the hardware tab then click device manager. Find your sound card, right click it then click properties. Click the driver tab at the top of the box then click 'roll back driver' Hopefully something has helped, stu
  3. Everyone here seems to be moaning that they are going to be 24 soon, 23 etc. Hang on i think you need to take into consideration actually making it to that age. Come on be serious, we are all stupid on our bikes, most of us the way we drive our cars and well i think it would just be pure luck to actually make it to that age. When i told me momma that im not planning on making it past 21 she sounded a bit upset "im just not keeping my hopes up" i said (Y) stu
  4. listen to the radio, wait until the song comes on and use one of them handy "coke-tag" things. Basically you dial a number hold your phone against the speaker it then texts you the title and artist of the track. All done! Just search google for the coke-tag im sure you could find something. stu
  5. i love it, no matter what anybody says its pure talent and definitely takes some balls to be hand standing over the egde of a 8/9ft wall then decide to drop right to the ground! :) Another vid one that i found a while ago pretty cool as well stu :P
  6. Howdy all well it goes a little something like this, most of the videos that were made for the old East Coast Trials.com website were made by myself, however my old hard drive burnt out thus i lost all my old videos i made, there were also some by scott@eastcoasttrials.com a few by jimbo limbo and i believe some by plainlazy84 I have the east coast trials "film" that ends at around a half hour duration but the others i have none of. If by some chance anybody has any of these it would be really nice if you could send them over as i would like to keep the videos for me to look back on and cry :) cheers, stu :P
  7. Well through this thread we have discovered your not the only one feeling this way, infact i am too. What doesnt help is mates who you would normally ride with. Now i dont know but your mates may or may not be riding. This is where the problem started for me. I stopped riding as often because of work and a relationship, relationship died and work seems to take up a lot of time then having a car also makes you uber damn lazy! Winter is crap for riding so dont threat about that one, cold hands, freezing brakes, the risk of slipping on ice, all makes it easier to say "i cant be assed" However if your mates are saying go on come out for a ride and really edging you on for it then i have particularly found it adds to a lot of motivation which in turn causes you to get off yo ass and get out to ride. Getting back in touch with old mates etc can be a very good way to get over it. Im screwed most of my mates dont bother anymore because they are too lazy and Scott@eastcoasttrials.com has sold his damn bike! Like you have said you dont want to stop because its great to ride but just cant be assed motivation is the key you need to find your way of motivation and hopefully things will pick back up, otherwise just look back at what you achieved and be proud of it. stu :P
  8. yup i know exactly what you mean there. If anyone knows where i can find a DC to AC power converter i can chuck my PA stuff in my car, one of my uncles mates did it and it sounded awesome but it blew the catch off for his boot :P The problem is trying to find a converter that can handle a TRUE 1300w RMS power so far i've only found them up to 750w which wont quite cut it. stu :)
  9. this seems to be turning into a bitch-a-thon contest of who "claims" to know the most lets just stop it there. Oh and for the reference its a 40amp fuse. stu :P
  10. "your amp is 600 RMS TOTAL out put at 2 ohms, only 300W RMS from the brigded rear channels at 2 ohms, but that should easily be enough." quote from website "with an output of 300 watts RMS per channel in 2-ohm" so if each channel (all 4) is running at 2 ohms then that comes to a grand total of 1200w RMS power which can be achieved in single bridge mode for just 1 sub if you have one powerful enough to handle that. I've just checked the user guide and running at 2ohms with the entire amp bridged you can get a total RMS power output of 1200w It is kind of hard for some people to believe but it is true hence why i bought the amp loads of features, digital clarity and a reasonable price. I would recommend it to anybody. You even have the option to run 6 speakers from the single amp so you could have 2 subs and 2 front speakers plus 2 rear speakers which is where the '3d theatre mode' can come into play nicely. stu :P
  11. all done i wired it up like the second diagram shown and now everything is fine, i got a temperature tester on the magnet and at 2ohms it was getting extremely hot very quickly making the amp cut out to stop things getting damaged. Now its running at 4ohms the bass is kicking and the temperature is staying relatively cool. cheers anyway though guys, stu :P For anybodies future reference subwoofer wiring this page helped me it may well be of use to others at some point, valuable information.
  12. aha just found some piccy's Above is currently how my sub is wired. ^^ Im thinking it may need to be done like this one ^^
  13. this is my amp Iampor "The iAMPOR is a full range Class-X 4-channel digital amplifier, with an output of 300 watts RMS per channel in 2-ohm" so if it can do 300w RMS per channel at 2ohms then bridging the rear channel surely means its 600w RMS at 2ohms ? I dont know the specifications of the sub i only just got it and seeing as im at work i shouldnt really be playing around with my car (Y) any help to you?
  14. I have a Pro-Plus Iampor amplifier running a Pioneer dual voice coil subwoofer. Now i only aquired this sub last night second hand off a mate at no cost. Only 1 voice coil was wired up so naturally with the power my amp has i wanted to add the second voice coil to create some ultimate bass!! I wired it up and KABOOOOOOM its kicking its ass off so damn hard and loud its lovely. But!! the amp keeps cutting out and going onto protected mode. Obviously i have fully checked for any cross wires which would cause the amp to cut out but im wondering if its the way the second voice coil has been wired at all. I have the amp bridged on the rear channel (600w rms) going into the back of the sub box the two voice coils are wired up positive to positive and negative to negative, im wondering do i need to wire them up positive to negative and so on? I believe its running on 2 ohms stable at the moment but somehow i think it may well need to be dropped down to 1ohm stable and i just dont know how to do it. If anybody has dealt with these dual voice coils then maybe they can shed some light for me, it works fine on a single coil and cuts out on 2 voice coils. Any help would be greatly appreciated, stu (Y)
  15. sorry its kinda early in the morning for me but i dont understand what your on about, i've just spent a fair few minutes reading through all that and dont really have a clue, so i would like to understand what it all means. If someone could elaborate this for me, would be appreciated. stu
  16. never seen that one before gotta admit hes got some balls to even try something that big its absolutely huuuuge you can count the seconds he's in the air! Nasty stack though, stu (Y)
  17. my first which i currently have had now for 2 months is a renault megane coupe 1.6 12 valve with electronic multi point injection whatever that bollox is. Insurance isnt that bad really considering the size, i got it down to £1380 through swinton telling them that i was planning to take my pass plus they lowered it by £500 to the said price all i had to do was take my pass plus within 60 days of getting my insurance. Car cost £1430 not too bad. Some people say the cars are reliable and dont seem to break down i say them people just dont spank the car hard enough i've killed a gearbox and the starter motor just stopped magically, now i think the clutch is going but on a P reg it is 11 years old. I believe cars with a high safety rating like mine has kinda lowers the insurance a bit. I dont know why its low my quote on a 1.3 civic DX was £1709 which is ridiculous and thats got a top speed of 95mph and i have reached a top speed which will not go any faster no matter how i try of 125mph wheres the justice????!!!! stu
  18. free music clickity onto the website its all free legal mp3 music available for download. On the left in the navigation is various genre's of music and its probably people you have never heard of before meaning that the music is non-commercialy known which i find a bonus but can also be the same style as you hear in the clubs etc. Might be of use? stu :P
  19. if you go onto a web browser click tools then internet options click the privacy tab and make sure your privacy settings arent above medium i know some websites require cookies to be enabled to allow you to view them. On another note try reducing your firewall security down 1 or 2 levels just to see if it makes a difference if it does then you need to configure the program to work with your connection a bit better. Also try having a check through all of your firewall security settings there may be some sort of nifty function your firewall security has that is stopping you being able to do things. hope it helps, stu :P
  20. i'll make you a website if you like mate im bored sitting here at work with nothing to do i can make most of the website to your needs and just tell you how to change the bits you want. If this sounds good add to msn then we can transfer files and chat etc. No cost involved stu :D
  21. in reply to that skins question its from 'windows blinds' you can download windows blinds from stardock i think it is just google it theres hundreds of different skins you can choose from but you get a pop up box evertime you start the computer to which you have to click the "continue" button and it will disappear for the duration of using your computer (til the next reboot anyway). I believe there is a crack out there somewhere which removes the splash but i cant be assed with it seeing as it doesnt really bother me that much. stu (Y)
  22. I decided to add my little piece to try and help some people out, this is a small lesson on changing the backgrounds of things. Now you may have a lovely picture of something like your bike, your car, or a person you care about the background isnt always complimenting to the picture so here hopefully i can help get you on the right steps. First off I have acquired a nice picture of a porsche and another little picture of a nice piece of road. Try and find nice high resolution pictures they give you more to play with in terms of quality for the final save. On the right hand side circled in red is a little 'padlock' key if you double click this then click the ok box that pops up you have now unlocked the 'layer' unless we unlock this layer photoshop will not let us move pieces around - well not that i know of anyway. If you now take a look on the left hand side in the red circle there is a tool at the moment is says magnetic lasso now this is such a handy tool but only on the right images if you have an image with big contrasts between the colours photoshop will find the edges where the colour changes and select around the parts you want for you. However i managed to choose an image with a slightly dodgy background so if we click and hold the icon circled in red a sub menu appears from which we can choose 'lasso' which allows to free handly run around the edge of the car selecting it from its own background. I have quickly just round around the basic outline of the car, with things im worried about i take more care but this is as a guide. Now select the 'move tool' on the left hand side circled in red. Now grab anywhere within the outline you have created of the car and 'drag n drop' it over to the picture underneath which is our new background. We position the car a little more where we would like it to be on the screen by dragging it with the mouse. If we now press our Ctrl button and T at the same time (Ctrl + T) then it gives us this box around our images wich will allow us to adjust the angles and size of it so we can make it fit the road a little better. Note try resizing the image just to test, now do the same again but holding the Ctrl key you will notice it gives you an extra option of further changing the angles of the image give it a few goes and you will get used to how it works. Once again click the 'move tool' circled in red on the left hand side as you can see a box has popped up asking if you actually want to perform the actions you have just taken i think we do so click apply. Now for tidying up the rest of the car as said before care is normally taken with this but you know im lazee  On the left select the 'eraser tool' then on the top right hand side of the screen click the 'brushes' pallette. There are a variation of brushes to choose from, i like to use the ones with feathered edges so we can wave relatively close to the car when erasing and it blends the image in a little nicer with the background then just cutting it in sharply. Now this is where are layers come in images made in photoshop all evolve around different layers. The car we have cut out is a seperate layer that we have laid over the top of the background layer. Now because the background layer hasnt been selected it wont be touched however we can erase things from the top layer (the car) and the background layer will be shown from underneath. Eg; if you wanted to cut out your name using the eraser tool just messing around the background underneath would show through so using this you can create some snazzy little effects. We have done the tidying up now and we have successfully changed the background of an image practise a few times make sure your finding and image with similar brightness to your original image find something that suits in colours if you can and take your time then you can produce some nice things. and here is a previous piece of artwork i have done which had a little more care put in. hopefully someone has learnt at least something from this if not then i have just wasted a chunk of time ;) cheers, stu (Y)
  23. i would say re-install messenger, you dont loose any contacts or anything and you would probably find that would help cure it. stu (Y)
  24. am i just being silly here but you say it has a optical input? why dont you just use that it would be far better quality than a coaxial cable for sure. stu (Y)
