    was a good day .... Pic 2 is nice with the lens flare n all but . . . . . . . .
  2. Deep yellow ;) EDIT : Didnt read the bit about red bits but I love deep yellow
  3. Youre tyre probably fits though porter.... my hot s literally falls off without air in ... Cheers for the advice.... Im thinking tubeless is alot of effort and dont i need a tubeless tyre ? ££££ Ive already tried padding the hole out and that dont work...... The zip ties are a good idea ( ilike it because its cheap ) Q . Is presta the roady style high pressure valve ? ?? ? If so then i dont have an adapter to pump it up. . boo so I guess the best idea was to find a skinny tube with a car type (cant remember what theyre called) valve that can be locked onto the rim like the DH ones but where oh where .. .. . . .. . . . .
  4. which bone ? ? ? scaphoid ? ?? ? or summat else - because yeah they suck big time

    Barnstaple Vid 2!

Nice video - the old lady was born to be in front of a camera . . . . . The riding was good o from everybody and in the best spots too.. .. . . . PLYMOUTH BARNSTAPLE BRISTOL . . . . . the bristol ride was ace when you guys came up . . . . and I even make a small appearance in the vid (gotta get in there somehow) - the ramp was awesome fun when everyone made it up .. .. . even on a koxx with a weee gear awesome. as for the buggered rim well you know what I think - BLACK PADS NO GRIND. then that wont happen (hehe).
  6. but can you get them as non fat bugger tubes ? ? ? ? its a front wheel you see
  7. Ok everytime I go and ride now the front tube valve is being cuttoff by the rim . Im runnin a viz front rim so its just a single wall meaning the valve isnt held upright. and the tyre i have is soo slack on the rim it just twists round making the valve be at a crazy angle and then psssssssssst. Im walking home...... Ive tried padding the hole out but it still gets buggered it just takes a little while longer.. Any ideas or anyone else had similar problems and Id love to hear from yer... RJ

Its at "THE BEAMS" . . . . . which is along the river from "THE TRAIN TRACKS" ...... which is across the river from "BIG LLOYDS" ...... which . . . . . . . . . isnt it funny how trials riders describe how to get around The beams are basically down in the basin (if you know brissle)

Cheers guys, the slope that ashton and hawzie went down is pretty damn scary first time round - if anyone wants to do it i can take em along when they are in bristol . . . . As for the video weeeellll - more setbacks...... after boons glorious bodge with a magura elbow thingy on the skewer to keep the mech on ive managed to snap my urbans in half on the steerer snap two spokes get about a million punctures and bugger up my pc's motherboard - not to plan really. but fingers crossed in two weeks itll be done . . . . Over And Out RJ

  15. I finish work around 12 ish on wednesdays . . . . :shifty: See You There
  16. That bucket thingy was pretty sick mind ... didnt see you do it just attempting it a "couple" of times ... hehe... heard about the other gap too the fish gap ... its pretty big... :D ive never seen anyone attempt it as a static gap. only a couple as a rolling gap (short run).... Everyone was on form - a pretty good laff all round. Best of all I didnt know everyone were coming - i was just out for a potter round on me own when fatmike came up and said " there is like 40 riders in castle park - what are you doing "
  17. well well well barny rubble finally gets an airing as a premier trials location in the south west of the country (N) . Great vid (Foo's always welcome) some pretty big moves. - some of them are bigger than they look - the side hop from tother side of the wall by the river for one. good riding from all ... everyone gets better so bloody quick when you havent been riding.... B) good riding good music good edit ... PS see you in a couple of weeks maybe - as im going back to hartland - oooh Idea - come ride the Quay with me at my home ... OMFG its great.
  18. Just recieved my new hope mono - completely brand spanking and free of charge after i sent back my old one on which every single part was broken (broken axle, cracked pawls, broken spring, knackered bearings , totally f**ked ratchets, and bent spoke flange and bearing housing , and the most scarred and grooved freehub body of all time)...... absolutely incredible service.

    Grip Sweat

I stopped wearing gloves and my hands were sweating like pigs. . . . . . But just keep riding - it gets better. I dont know why but its really not bad at all anymore. my hands have stopped sweating (as much) and i can ride without too much bother . . . But at a guess if you use foam grips (when theyre new) that would help a bucket load.
  20. they are very nice - saw ashton in bristol and he said he were getting in some with even higher bb's they look about 1060 - pretty steep headtube looking as well - but clearly ashton loves it ..... 44" over a stick first go - I wet myself.
  21. But do you sound like an oil tanker coming into port when you do it ? ? ? ? :- Im with boon (possibly the only one ?) I normally run black pads and a smooth rim - its good enough for me - but then im not into the huge stuff. Also I just dont like drawing attention when im out during the week on my own - stealth. At the moment though im on spanish fly's (?) (possibly) as they have enough material left to reach my old mavic rim . . . . . . but they are rubbish. everyone elses brakes feel unbelievably harsh even my front brake doesnt really work anymore, but i really like the way the new hope trials works though . . .
  22. Yeah i love my gold pants Dave . . . . . :-
  23. odd one this ..... I dont ride them because other people really care about them and what they mean to them ..... personally - im not keen on them - I dont like them because I dont really want to remember that a f**king shit load of people died for pretty crap reasons in pretty horrible ways, all the time - i know what happened I know that Theyre heros - but they did that so we can get on with stuff now.... so i would prefer if everyone had the same attitude and it was ok to ride on them - celbrate life ..... but as that aint gonna happen ..... NO RIDING - not because it will give trials a bad name but because of a little respect to peoples beliefs and feelings.
