  1. There's always a way ha ha. I've just dug out all my old lego so I can stick it on ebay but i've started playing with it and want to keep it now ha ha ha.
  2. For some reason i'm at my happiest when i'm making/building something. I can't get enough of messing with my bike. I find myself wanting to just build trials bikes one minute I want to be setting up disc brakes the next I want to be fitting V brakes. I just love tinkering with bikes. Trials for me has probably been more about messing with my bike than actually riding it. Anyone else feel like this?
  3. Thats what e-bays for ha ha. It would be nice to have a setout similar to e-bay though. By the way i'm not complaining about the for sale section I just thought it could do with being a bit less clutterd and stop people from bumping all the time.
  4. A template would be nice. Thats why I mentioned the gallery. If you upload the picture then you could have price, description, make, model etc and maybe a link under your avatar to what you are selling.
  5. Great video reminded of good times riding. Looks like you were having fun on your bike rather than seeing how big you can go. This is the kind of video i'd like to see more of.
  6. You have recieved a new feedback. Below are details concerning the new feedback. Type: Good Rating SummaryPaid fast no hastle great to deal with A+++++ Given By: Anal_Teflon You were the: Buyer Date: 1199815261
  7. I was thinking more like an adaptation of the gallery. Make it a bit more straight forward for the forsale bit. you up load a picture of the part you are selling and write a description and keywords for a search.
  8. A bit more detailed than that. Like rather than having it like a forum with threads have it more like ebay where you search for particular parts and you can click on a persons user name and it comes up with all the parts they are selling with thumbnails, descriptions and key words.
  9. I've noticed that the classifieds section is really cluttered, full of new threads every day and there are loads of dead threads. I was thinking it would be great if it was more like ebay or a database kind of thing where you have sections for the main parts (Frames/forks, Bars/stems, Brakes, Drivetrain, Wheels, etc) and if you click on a members name it shows what they have got for sale. It would be good to have key words to search for and maybe a wanted section on people profiles where they put a list of parts they are after and people who are selling those parts can search through "wanted parts". I've got an idea of it in my head but i'm not too good at explaining myself nor can I write a HTML script for it. I'd guess it would be a hell of a lot of work to do but i'm sure there's some cleve b*****d out there that could knock one up. A name that springs to mind is Simon and obviously theres Tom and Danny. I'm sure this has probably already been thought of but I just thought I'd post my ideas up on here. Anyone got anything to add?
  10. Are there any homos sorry I mean vegetarians on this forum?

    Spank Rims

I'm guessing if you google that you'll get more willy porn than bike bits.
  12. God it annoys me when people edit the topic they started to "close this thread" why do it? why not just let it lie? it makes the whole topic pointless and a waste of space. Someone with the same question might see this and get their answer. And to the people going off on one stop moaning if someone wants to ruin their hub by not taking your advice let them. At least you warned them.
  13. Just get some decent brake pads and a grinder. Tar is for loosers.
  14. The best way to strech the spring is not to bother ha. You've got to be really carful with it otherwise it goes out of shape and will push past the rings and make it skip/not engage at all. You can't get the spring out without taking the bearing etc out.
  15. I wouldn't bother messing about with the springs, I've never had a pro 2 but when I had a bulb I cleaned it out and put a tiny bit of grease in. I wouldn't worrie about it wearing out faster its not like trials bikes do 100's of miles.
  16. Get one of these bad boys and do the job properly.
  17. maybe when you set it up the wheel was in on a slight angle so when you've taken the wheel out and put it back in again its gone straight but the caliper is set up wrong.
  18. bummer unlucky mate. If I was you I'd drill the ends of the crack to help stop it from spreading. I don't think its worth getting it welded because thats just going to weaken it unless you get it heat treated aswell. So thats the best advice I can offer get a nice sharp drill bit and go to town drilling the crack out.
  19. give me a shout when you do our kid I fancy a bit of argy bargying but i'm a ponce and too scared to go on my own.
  20. I feel like having a bit of a shit chat about hope's and kings. People might think I hate hope hubs but thats not the fact at all what I don't like is people saying that hope hubs are better than kings. Kings are more expensive for a reason and when you look at the price difference you get a hell of a lot more for your money in a king. Hopes work great but every hope hub i've had has worn out and broke and had to be fixed. Kings on the other hand I've got 3 rears and had 4 in total none have gone wrong on me when it comes to the engagment mechanism. I have however broke a HD axle. I'm not a harsh rider at all things last for me its just the way I ride (as little as that is). King hubs are a lot better in design than hopes but they do take more looking after. I personally was prepared to invest in the tool to service the hub and it was a wise choice. I think people who have trouble with kings are the ones that like to fit and forget. You can't do that with a king they do need looking after they are a "precision component". Hopes on the other hand are a bit more fit and forget. So basically what i'm trying to say is hopes are good kings are better even if they do need a bit more looking after.
  21. I say it depends how you ride to be honest. Some people destroy the strongest parts out there while others make the weakest of parts last a life time. You might get the hub and it last for years or it might fall apart in weeks. You know the main weakness of the hub so you know what to expect. If you arnt a harsh rider go for it.
  22. Well somebody has got sand in their vagina.
