Surely having the balls is mental. You need to believe you can do something (or not kill yourself trying) to attempt it. It's mostly technique until you have a move perfected then it's about strength.

I tried doing that and got a longer bolt, but the way the limit screw works means you can only adjust it so far. Using a bit of cable means you can adjust the whole range of the mech (Y)

There's some info. in the FAQ To select a gear you can use a small length of cable or a spoke in the normal cable hole and adjust it to your needs.

Aslong as you're not dead. Remember, if you crash you could easily take out some innocent bystander, and you don't want to live with that for the rest of your life. Don't drive like a dick and become another statistic.

Washer hose? As in car windscreen washers? If so I think the hose isn't heavy duty enough for maguras. From my experience it's pretty flexy stuff. The pressure could be causing the hose to expand once the brake is locked on whioch would give it a spongey feel. I could be totally wrong but it's just a thought...

They're supposed to be 12% stronger (or something like that) than Kool chains, which can't be a bad thing. If they're designed for grinding they should take some abuse. I think Tarty's running one and I haven't heard him complaining.

You could try capturing from your camera in premier. If you've got the clips saved already then it's not gonna work, just a thought though...

I've had a set of Octalink cranks and bb lying in my garage for a while, I decided to put them on a bike but I couldn't find the non-driveside cup. Nevermind, I thought, any old Shimano cup will fit, but nothing is ever that simple. Now I'm left with a perfectly good set of cranks and bb but I'm missing that one vital bit. I could go and buy another octalink bb but that seems like a bit of a waste of money. So, anyone know where I could get a cup or any other cups that I could get cheaply that would fit?

I'd check out ebay, there's loads of stuff going fairly cheap on there. I just got a Cambridge A1 amp, Cambridge Cd player, Pioneer speakers, and a Panasonic central monitor for £51.
