  1. Yeah, luckily I've managed to get back most of it, there's still some missing though it's more the unedited demos that I'm annoyed about, because I don't have the software to edit them at home, so I'm gonna have to go in tomorrow morning and edit them again before the afternoon when I properly start :/
  2. So I've got a college deadline tomorrow, got to finish all my work, got to evaluate 3 radio demos that I recorded and edited the other week, had them on my memory stick so I could do it at home, open them up just now, and they've reverted back to their unedited versions On top of that, I've got I've also got a 3000 word essay on Hitchcock due in as well, and another 3000 word essay on comparing old films to their modern remakes, which I had started, BUT NOW IT'S JUST GONE. Words can't describe my anger at memory sticks.
  3. Awesome cheers pal! Won't be moving for about a month or so yet, so I'll add you on Facebook and give you a shout once I'm over
  4. I've got a Contour Roam2 and a Contour Roam1 and in my opinion they're much better cameras than GoPro's, they're also about £100 cheaper, the Roam2 is about £150 from Amazon, but I'm pretty sure you'll be able to get it cheaper than that if you do some hunting. The quality of the camera is way better though, and it feels a lot better when it's on your head, as it's less bulky, I think it has a wider FOV as well, the Contours is 170° not sure what the GoPro's is. The Contours water proof, which is always a bonus, it records both 1080p and 720p and it can record 720p at 60fps, to switch, you just plug it into your laptop and use the free software the camera comes with to change the settings. The Roam2 adjusts for low light conditions and high light conditions, so if you're in a building or something thats dark, and then look at an open door and it's bright outside, the camera will really quickly adjust to the light change, so you'll be able to see whats through the door, instead of it just being a gleaming white light. I suppose the only 2 downsides to it are: It has to be on the side of your head, because it's a cylinder shape as apposed to a box, so it can't sit in the middle of your forehead. And it doesn't have a fancy smart phone app that lets you use your phone as a view finder, so you can't see what your shot looks like, of it's level. It does have a laser on it though, that shines out as a horizontal live, so you can make sure the shots level, so that kinda counter acts the whole not been able to see if the shots level. They are the only downsides though, other than that the camera is brilliant, never had any major issues with mine, apart from the memory card randomly formatting itself, but that's also happened to my mate, who owns a GoPro
  5. I'm not the best when it comes to nose stuff in Trials, but when I ride my BMX I find the easiest way to get into nose Manny's is to do a small hop into it. Helps you lock your body into position. Hope this help!
  6. Oh sweet! That's awesome. Glad to know there's a lot of people about I'm in Sheffield at the minute but within the next couple of months I think I'm moving to Donny. Although I'll be in Sheffield most of the working week for college, all my bikes will be in Donny, so may have to tag along on a ride if that's cool? Be awesome to get to know people near my new place.

  8. Oh awesome, just found it, cheers for letting me know
  9. I bought the bike second hand, and the previous owner changed the front hub, so it's got a disc mount, completely forgot to mention that :L I'll give some of that spray a go, and if works I'll keep the set up I'm running at the minute, saves me faffing about changing everything around Cheers man!
  10. Hey guys, new to the forums, and relatively new to Trials, I'm Will, 17 and from Sheffield, I'm the only person I know who's even remotely interested in Trials, so it'd be nice to ride with some of you guys if anyone else is from Sheffield, would also be nice to ride with someone who knows what they're doing, so I could learn a thing or two! I've been on the forums since around August, but I've not really used them as I've had a back injury that's put me out of action for a while. but I got the go ahead to ride the other week, so I'm back on the bike! I also ride BMX, terribly I may add. Hops, manuals and 180's and none of it looks very clean I actually originally starting riding Trials back in 2010, but 4 months after I got my bike (Orange Onza rip) it was stolen, and I've never seen it again, so I gave up as I couldn't afford another bike. I kept following the trials scene though, as best I could, but I couldn't ride. Eventually I got more and more into BMX and got a BMX for christmas, after riding that for a while I started getting back into the Trials scene, started watching all the edits I used to watch, and stuff like that. And I decided to get myself a Trials Bike and get back into it! So here I am! I feel like I made that longer than it needed to be... Oh well! Cheers in advance for any help in answering my noob questions Will
  11. I'd put the disc on the back, but I can't, as I can't mount the actual disc, as I don't have an adaptor on the back :/ I think for the time being, I'm gonna go disc on the front, because it's gonna be ages until I can afford anything. So I'll run that set up for a while. Then when I finally get money I'm gonna go with hydraulic discs for front and back, and hopefully going to be getting the pro frame kit as well!
  12. Hey guys, relatively new to Trials here, I actually used to ride waaayyy back in 2010, but unfortunately my bike got stolen after 4 months, so I gave up and stuck to BMX(I'm still terrible at BMX) Anyway, I started wanting to get back into Trials again, months ago around the same time I made my account on here. So I bought myself a 2012 model Onza Zoot and got riding! Unfortunately I took a pretty bad fall doing a drop I thought I was comfortable with (Thought the bike was going to perform pretty much the same as my BMX in the air, oh how wrong I was) and managed to mess up my back, so I've not ridden properly for about 6 months. But I finally got the go ahead to start riding again the other week, and you'll never guess what happened! My brakes broke, and not in the way they're supposed to! The set up I have at the minute is a Magura HS33 on the front, and a diabolic stand in £15 V-brake on the back, because my rear HS33 decided it was going to explode Honestly haven't got a clue whats wrong with, it's just not holding fluid at all, I've checked the vales and they're fine, the fluid just seems to be teleporting into the abyss. So I've got a few options: 1) Keep running the terrible Vee I have at the minute until I can afford a better one, which won't be for a while as I'm currently unemployed and it's just been the Missus' birthday 2) Considering going brakeless, but I also ride brakeless BMX, and quite want to keep brakes on my Trials. 3) I've got an old but still very usable non-hydraulic disc brake and disc that I'm thinking about putting on the front, and then moving the HS33 I have on the front to the back. What do you guys think? Any help and suggestions will be most appreciated! Cheers! Will
