  1. I thought episode 3 last night was wank as well, what is happening with Top Gear... think they've lost the plot!
  2. Its awesome Trials is finally getting on TV like this! Only problem I personally have is I didn't like the guy's voice who did the voice-over and the name of the program is a bit, well, crap. Apart from that, looks to be epic!
  3. Brilliant video! Super crisp quality, loved the intro! Riding was excellent also! I need a new camera lol
  4. Completely agree! The building of their own electric car was pointless and long-windingly boring - if that's even a term? My mate Chris is meant to be camera assistant for all the features filming, he missed two large pieces of dirt on the lens where they did a focus pull when they took the electric car down that country lane, I was shocked to say the least. I'm hoping next week's is better.
  5. Bloody hell I think I've still got those Biketrials.com video CD's somewhere! There's something about the clonk from the chain hitting the stay that I loved about the 26Mhz!
  6. Its good sometimes, not ALL the time though!
  7. I have run Mavic EX721's front and rear. Currently EX721 front and 'old-skool' D521 rear at the moment. In my past experience with Trials-specific rims (Try-all mainly) they just are not up to the job at all, and yet they call themselves Trials-specific components... friends of mine have killed Echo rims too in an incredibly short amount of time, they're not hard riders either! My Mavic's have served me for years without having to true them much at all... once every couple of months or something! So if Hope want to make a rim, its gotta be super strong, fairly light, have a PROPER joint (welded, not pinned or alike) and look the part which, lets face it, all Hope parts do!

Haha this literally made me go wtf! One hell of a bump as somebody already said lol! Cheers for helping him Rich!
  9. I always used to say MiniDV... but as of this moment in time I am despising MiniDV cameras (probably because I've just had to capture/digitise near enough 140 full 60min tapes!). The Samsung looks good! I always search YouTube for examples, here's one of the Samsung F30 - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ipuxUzhp1R0 Quality looks very decent, I'd go with it! It's solid state too so its just a case of putting it into a card reader and dragging and dropping the footage. Please bear in mind that your editing software will have to support whatever files the camera produces. Try and do some research and find out what the camera is compatible with software wise Curry's *might* be able to tell you this... although I've never been impressed with their sales staff - was looking at a camera for 10mins behind the counter and the two sales staff were chatting. Walked away and only then did they ask if I wanted help lol!
  10. Brilliant mate! Like the music choices and the riding was awesome!! I've always wanted a 20", hopefully I'll be able to get one in the near future!
  11. That was bloody epic! Awesome riding, loving the cycling backwards into up's onto those blocks Although something about all the pedaling backwards is just screaming a freecoaster hub to me! Annoying vignette on all the clips (black ring, cos of your fisheye/super wide lens) but apart from that super super brilliant mate!!! Support from Inspired themselves no doubt round the corner... up the block onto wooden rail for sure lol EDIT: How unobservant lol, I failed to realise that it was posted on Inspired's own YouTube channel lol, seems he's already been snapped up by them! Although, upon reading the video description, it seems Dave is making out (kind of) that brakeless is a newish thing?
  12. Not necessarily! Small-ish camcorders can achieve amazing images these days I *think* they were shooting using a Red camera (guy who owns Oakley designed these cameras) and they are just epic! Yes they're big, but the resolution that they capture is massive! Either the Red or the Si2k (Google it) - surprisingly im not 100% up to date with each and every camera on the market lol! Brilliant making-of video though! With I could have helped on that shoot actually, I could have been the runner holding Danny's umbrella lol
  13. Epic effort as usual dude! I've actually just bought a 'new' Super8 camera, cos the original one I bought the shutter kept jamming on it. The one I have now was 99p and 80% works lol, the trigger stops working every now and again. Got what I paid for really, Braun Nizo when I get a decent job though lol!
  14. That's sex! Very clean lines, and those photos are great for a phone!
  15. Well I thought I'd post a picture of my new MSI Wind! Incredibly cheap, fairly functional! Reflecting on what I've posted in the past in this thread, its exciting getting new toys - so in that light I can kind of understand where he was coming from in the first place! These Netbooks are tiny (comparison between my SLR's lens cap) - although this one has a brilliant keyboard and a trackpad you can actually use!
  16. http://www.squared5.com/svideo/mpeg-streamclip-win.html BEST conversion software in the world!
  17. Not sure if these were ever posted on the forum back in May time (I can't remember seeing them - and I apologise if they were posted in the past) - but these are the videos from this year's Animal Relentless tour that Martyn Ashton + Sam Pilgrim do... I'm fairly sure you ALL know what they are so I'll shut up lol Two of my favorite ones shot and edited by Robin Kitchin... Part 1 - Part 2 - Love the music! Have a nose round Robin's channel for the rest of the videos from this year's tour... http://www.youtube.com/user/robinkitchin Loving all of these videos hence quite a long post here! Again, sorry if you've seen them all, but I've just come across them, how bloody slow am I lol
  18. By far the nicest colour Dave's bought out!
  19. Brilliant riding throughout! Top stuff mate
  20. LOL! I guess that means he's failed that module on his A Level course!
  21. I think what Simon is trying to say is that if there's a spare Trials bike laying about in the shop he'd quite like it
  22. Good stuff lads, Blogger is a good platform, so many other ones out there but it seems this is the easiest in terms of UI, like the dashboard etc!
  23. Beasty riding there mate, good work
