  2. if u speak to them very very nicely then they may even sort out a rebuild or you. their after care service is the best ive come across. im pretty certain they will sort the hub out for u they do shut at 4:30 pm weekdays though and dont open at wkends
  3. "the NBA bringing the age old question of spit or swallow to the masses??"
  4. cant get the news article up north without sky tv. although if you ask me a 7 year sentence should mean 7 years not 3 if you can be nice. thoughts are with all the family and everyone who was close to dj
  5. dont think i would trust those brakes if i was goin up a curb, let alone testing them on a rail gap. slightly off topic that bit u could always stick it on ebay somebody may be in a retro mood
  6. i think the man himself may well have graced the forum with his god like presence! good to see the trials community is being asked their opinions bout the rider line up! the variety riding styles in the lists means that whatever obstacles and equipment they use no doubt there will be a few variations of how it gets used.
  7. i agree with the fact edd didnt seem bothered at bike 2004, but then again the sunday when i was there in the last show of the day the crowd were more interested in the free t shirts than what ANY rider was doing. the commentator last year was poor, i could've done a half decent job, best bit of the day for me was when he kept saying feebal during hawzies run, which if u werent there was about every 3-5 secs and got really annoying, hawzie just stopped and told him to shut up!! quality think im goin to make the trip down this year, i wasnt going to but this line up has changed my mind.
  8. stuck my mono trial on last sunday and it isnt bedded in yet but still locks up way better than my mono mini did when it was bedding in going to be a good brake :)
  9. good line up this year, cant wait to see mr holroyd ride, missed him last yr because he broke his wrist/hand good point bout boon, his street style is awesome shame bout edd
  10. looks beefy even before all the added extras have been stuck on.
  11. how about pink with black letters, or vice versa. be a bit different thats what i reckon, i've got a burgundy pashley, very retro
  12. when you watch teachers and suddenly shout "nick goddard rode along that rail" or see lines from vids in TV shows etc

  14. ok, i've got no specialist tools and want to remove the headset cups from my headtube, i want to sell the headset on because its hope and virutally brand new so dont want to trash them. anyone got any good ideas???
  15. hmmm knwoing this little trick would have saved me some hassle when i got the end of my park extracter stuck in the bb (Y)
  16. dear god that looks painful, but then again i cant stop laughing, even though i know how much face plants etc hurt serves him right karma indeed (Y)"
  17. i had two bike in my room last yr, but i was in a house owned by the uni not halls. ur room is so nice though, mine was massive could pull a 180 no probs. i was lucky the cleaners were nice, they never minded bout the bikes. anyway to the relevant part of my story. my bikes got stolen from inside the house in may last yr, so i went to the uni and complained bout security, they went with the line your bike should be in the "designated cycle storage area" blah blah. then i pointed out to them that this storage area was inadequet (it was basically a shed with a single bolt on the door and nothing to lock bikes to inside) and my bike wouldnt be insured if it was kept there. say your insurance premium is dependant on you having your bike inside a secure house, not outside on some rails. and due to the bikes value it isnt finacially viable to keep it where they want u to. if that doesnt work get back to me and ill give u some economics of the insurance market that should baffle the accommodation services hope this helps oh yeah, fire hazard, hmmm what would happen if it was a wheel chair????
  18. like it a lot!! should put smiley faces on em (Y) (Y) :) :) :o
  19. well i hope i'm still riding trials when im their age! these guys are who got me into trials, and i still lvoe watching them ride at the bike show etc. although in 2004 at the last sunday show i was amazed when some guys sitting in front of me said "who is martin hawyes??", missed ashton last year because of his off on the saturday. cheers mike for the vid
  20. call me stupid but whats wrong with the springs in it already??? this topic was on here a while back and provoked a big debate. in my opinion if hope put those springs in then surely they must work fine if not better than other alternatives.
  21. yeah agreed, they wouldnt do much if u landed on one, plus sidehopping right has its disadvantages to, namely ur mech!
  22. i dont think i wanna see pics of this because im affraid ill want one!!! :ermm:
  23. canon ixus 40, its tiny and has good optical and digital zoom, and its 4 megapixels. considering its not much bigger than my phone (actual size 82x52x21mm - measured with a trusty ruler) its amazing the thing bout cameras that do vids as well is u end up paying a lot for them that u may even be better off buying a video cam. ixus 40 takes vids, not sure of quality yet as i havent tried. word of warning whatever camera u get make sure u buy a protective case so u dont end up trashing it, both me and my brother (who has the ixus 30 - slightly smaller but only 3 megapixels) have dented ours :P"
  24. nice vid lee, loving that 180 gap to 180 off well put together, where were u with all them pallets???
  25. hmmm, will look into new bash purchase
