  1. Stupid tap from the boy Kyle Hinchcliffe (Think that's how you spell it). He made it to back wheel too Drop gap Same gap, different angle Then it got a bit dark, so out come the blurry pics I can't decide if this is good or not. I know I managed to cut the bottom off, but I like it That's actually it. More next time

    Overclocking

I wouldn't really worry about temps too much. You will probably just find that you reach a limit where the system won't boot, or it won't load Windows. It depends what is holding the system back, and there is a bit of an art to choosing the compromise that will give you the best overclock - For example it might be better to put a divider on the RAM to allow the FSB speeds to go higher, but then you cut memory bandwidth and you get worse performance in some tasks. I wouldn't bother with any of those Windows-based overclocking tools (except for graphics), just do it in the BIOS. Check that it's 100% stable (Use Prime95 torture test) and you're away. But like people have said, read up on it. The easiest thing to overclock first is the graphics. Use a program such as RivaTuner and see you much you can get out of the card without it artefacting. Have fun, you should be able to get a decent overclock because you've got all good stuff (apart from that powersupply)
  3. I would be VERY surprised if Shuttle supplied a machine with a card reader and bios that was incompatible. My money would be on a faulty mobo or card reader or something.
  4. Some BIOSes don't like card readers and stuff, but it might work just fine after you've installed Windows. So install Windows and then try the card reader again.
  5. Apparently only about 50% of American even own a Passport. They just don't feel the need to leave. Anyway, question: Have you tasted English chocolate? What do you think of it compared to American crap chocolate? P.S. You're missing out on the Jaffas cakes too!
  6. It's not exercise. They might try and sell it as that but it's not. It's a toy. End of.
  7. You shouldn't need to plug anything into the motherboard on a Shuttle, because they come semi-pre-assembled. However it would probably be worth checking, in case the Vietnamese chimp who built the thing got it wrong. And like Stubert said, check the USB. I don't see how you can't get to it. You might have to take out the HDD/CD-ROM tray, but I'm sure you can reach it. If it won't even POST (The BIOS testy thing whenever you switch on a PC) then it won't matter whether you have a floppy or not. Until you can get something on the screen I would suggest that it's either a motherboard or a graphic card problem. I know Shuttles used to be a bit notorious for having dodgy mobo's, if that's the case you may need to RMA it
  8. Yeah, that's a good one. You want one with a rev counter on it, otherwise there's no way you can compete You don't need instructions... Buy one if you want. They are quite cool but ultimately very pointless...
  9. Unplug everything, and refit the bare minimum - I.e. only the graphics, 1 stick of RAM, hard drive and obviously the CPU. Then see what happens

  11. Sweet. You worked out the video though

    Nice huh?

Er about a month ago, around the 8th November I think it was. Came in in the night :(
  14. Yeah Was not expecting that. Loving the colours! Any idea on geo and price?
  15. Yeah, god knows what codec it is, but VLC played it fine. Not really worth that much effort imo, some good stuff but nothing that amazing (at least not to my untrained eye). Loads of people though
  16. Oooh yeah, def do that, I want to play with your camera
  17. Happy birthday Davetrials. Let me know know you get on with the camera

    Universities

My theory would be to f**k it and live for now. I'm not particularly arsed about being in debt (And I will be in at least £12 k debt when I'm finished), and it's more fun to buy stuff, than to not buy stuff. Although I do agree about people that moan about debt and go out every night of the week. I don't go out much, but I do waste my money on other crap. But yeah, as Mike said, if you don't need your loan, just stick it in an ISA
  19. I don't think that works for all cameras, not all come up as a removeable drive. I know my mum's 350D (Also coincidentally a Canon) doesn't, you have to use the software that comes with it. When in doubt RTFM...
  20. Yeah, you need to convert most things before you use them. I think iTunes converts them, not sure though. But there are plenty of other programs about which will convert to the iPod format.
  21. Yeah Having said that, I've got an Ashton ET now and that is really nice, I'm liking it
  22. I got a Chrismas card from Clive t'other day, was really random. It had a Gold Leeson sticker in it , which was cool, although I don't have a Leeson to stick it on
  23. I remember when Mark couldn't find the bird when the board upgraded, he was in tears. Then Danny found an old copy of the bird Seriously though, having an IVB stock image is so noob.
