  1. "Brit". That makes me laugh whenever I see the ads on bus shelters. It just makes me think of football hooligans or something. They should have called it "Skinhead" or "Scally", really.
  2. I don't think you will be able to watch all the NTL channels, maybe the one the NTL box is switched to though. But you should be able to watch all the normal channels (1 to 5) just using that cable.
  3. The site doesn't work properly for me either - I think it's the site though, not your browser. You gotta love the engrish on there too: "Make in China" and "Copy Right 2005 Aortabike Allright Reserved"
  4. Yeah, but Koxx/Echo/Viz/Onza (etc) rims don't make quality wheels... But they are all we have for wide rims.
  5. Argh, that bike doesn't make sense. What the hell is it? Looks fun though
  6. As long as you have a decent aerial they are awsome. Not great without though, but I guess that's the same for any TV card.
  7. Yeah, it doesn't look quite right does it? He goes up to bash and then up to both wheels from there Here's another angle, making it look even more impossible... [attachmentid=2548] And he made it, see?
  8. These are a selection of my pictures from the Leeds Christmas ride, some are ok I think, others not so great. It was a good ride, loads of people, but very cold. Also it snowed a couple of times during the day which was very very cold and made everything wet. Anyway, on with the pics: Everyone standing about by the granite walls, to give you an idea who was there, although I'm sure there was at least 10-15 more people hiding Nice little gap post-to-post by Chris Walker: Nice gap from someone (Sorry don't know your name) - Next time please wear a different colour T-shirt, then you'd show up better ) Gap by Wayne, nice and tweaked Another guy whose name I don't know with a drop-gap: Kyle Hinchcliffe with a small (by his standards) gap to front wheel: Broken crank - Think it was Joe Oakley. Pretty early on too Drop-gap from Kyle: I'm not quite sure how Mike (Leedstrials) managed this: Another variation: Wayne with a huge gap - Check the expression on his face Wayne playing silly buggers on some posts: We all saw it coming, really Wayne's stupid hook. He got up it in the end, no dabs. It wasn't UCI though... Mike with a wallride after it had got dark: EDIT: If anyone wants any hi-res pics, fire me a PM
  9. Oh that would be sweet. Hopefully I can find my way there
  10. Yeah Simon it aint all doom and gloom mate. Get out, do something different and stop moping. Just do something different, take some drugs or something. I dunno do what you want. I always thought if life was ever not worth living (for me), then I would just go on a massive bender - Probably try Coke or something stupid. Not quite sure what I'm trying to say - I'm not suggesting you buy some Coke! I think what I'm trying to get at is that there is always something else. If you're not getting along doing what you're doing, make a conscious decision to either a) Stick it out because it'll be worth it in the end or do something totally different. Anyway, back on topic - I enjoyed Christmas this year. There was no expectation and I wasn't particularly excited, so when it came along it was a nice surprise and I had a good day, good meal, nice presents. It was good
  11. I might come, if I can be arsed to get up early and drive. Anyone wanna do some directions to a decent place to park, coming from the motorway (M62)? Thanks
  12. Most people do go to the side though? But once you're on the back wheel, the rail kinda pulls you round straight again.
  13. lol, your parents spent £100 on socks for you? I didn't get any this year, must be the first time ever. I did get some boxers though, rock on.
  14. It's just firefox f**king up and rendering the page wrongly I think. Or it might be a server f**k up, not sure. Either way, you could get the latest firefox and see if that works. I get that with Safari on other forums, it doesn't come out quite right. But go back and forwards quickly and it works fine
  15. What Janson said Plus you can easily set the mech up so it won't "ping" off - Just use the limit screws. However, most trials peeps seem to use 8 speed stuff, so I don't know if you should get an 8 speed shifter and use that. It would stop you having to use a scary thin chain, at least
  16. You think that is good, you should see THIS. That's taken with my camera. Not by me though
  17. You find a flat for yourself, and then feed yourself for less than that But, I suppose it is pretty steep given that it's your own mum. Get a better job
  18. Tomm

    New Game.....

There's plenty for "noz" though. I used "Tomm" which isn't my full real name, actually
  19. Well I bought a camera yesterday, so I think my Mum & Dad are giving me some money toward that, although not discussed it yet. But the camera (A 300D) is awsome I got a tripod too. I got a CD from my sister A rubik's cube Jumper Hat Chocolate (obviously at 21 I'm deemed old enough to enjoy good chocolate, so I got Thornton's this year, not celebrations or something). About time I say Alll good
  20. I got some WD40, which is far from useless, although most people would be pretty pissed off to get that. Apart from that I don't think there's anything I got that was useless However, my sister wanted the DVD of Downfall, but my Mum bought her a documentary on audio tape called "Hitler: The Downfall". She saw it on eBay with 30 seconds left and panicked. My guess would be that it's going straight back on eBay
