ZZZZZzzzz I said about a month ago that this test was pointless. It only goes by the spec of your PC (meaning you could be bogged down with a load of stuff) and it's outdated so an x800 is about the best card it knows. Anything above that won't get any better scores. So basically, it's not worth bothering with. Someone find an up-to-date one.

iTunes is really good, as long as you don't mind copying everything first. It's a bit of a pain in the arse, I am of the opinion that programs should work how YOU want them to, not do everything their way. Which is why iTunes sucks. But if you can live with that, it's a nice music player
-
If your music collection came from a PC At least it converts them, even if it does take time. In fact I don't even know if there is any program on a Mac that will play WMAs. Oh well.

No-one is saying that Hermance rides for nothing though. I'm sure he gets expenses paid and a bit of a wage, too. I don't really know, but that's not what people are saying. In fact it's quite the opposite - Koxx are paying all their sponsored riders lots and WE the consumer are paying for it through the nose. It would be ok if all these riders were constantly developing new frames and ideas, and to a certain extent they are, but Koxx frames are not special enough to warrant being twice as expensive as everything else. But if people want to buy a Koxx, that is also fine by me. Step back a bit Wayne. That's complete shite. You are sponsored by Koxx FFS. That old chestnut. I don't really see, is that supposed to be some kind of insult? People will ride their bikes as much or as little as they want, it doesn't make you a better person because you ride/"train" 10 hours every day. I'm giving up there.

Does iTunes for PC play wmas then? Or convert them into MP3s? iTunes on the Mac won't even look at WMAs, it just skips them by...

It's nothing to do with whether Windows sux or whatever, it's just what Bennifer said. It's just in the middle of copying songs to your library. I.e. moving songs from one place on your hard drive to another... It's a pretty stupid system really, because you end up with two copies of each file, unless you delete the originals. But anyway, when it's finished doing that it will take up no more than 20Mb of ram and about 2% CPU.

Yeah, but I don't really play games, and I do listen to music. Have you seen a nano in the flesh? They are so awsomely tiny I can't not want one... The video ones are nice I'm sure, but I don't think I would use the video capabilities of it anyway, and they're massive compared to the nano.
-
That's body only. With the kit lens it's the same price (£450).
-
JTM has already got her into bed 3 minutes into the conversation, and then he's all done after 4 minutes...
-
There aren't any about... So Apple have probably sold more Nanos than Microsoft have sold Xboxes. I would rather have a Nano for sure
-
Yeah, lot of places have sold out, especially of the black ones and the 4Gb ones. Dixons in Manchester were even selling them at above their RRP, which I didn't know they were allowed to do
-
A couple of inches maybe. Anyway, it's pretty damn big

Apparently the disk knows what computer it's for, so it won't work on anything but an iBook. Sorry. Time to find the original disks methinks

"Photographs taken by Teco and Dana"

Look at the gap at 1:25. That's the gap in Manchester that you and Lee were doing DOWN. Stan just pissed on it going up! Cool video, that wheel swap from being wedged on that bench was crazy
-
If you don't know shit about photography then yeah, maybe you deserved it. Or maybe people are just jealous PS Nikon D50 inc kit lens 18-55 or something £450 in Jessops

I think so, I'll just find out if the iBook CDs will work in an eMac. Have you got the specs there? Does the eMac have a DVD drive etc? If it's not gonna work then I won't send it, but otherwise I will do. And if it does work, I think it would just be a case of putting the CD in, restarting the computer and holding down 'c' to boot from the CD-Rom drive, and then just follow the instructions on screen. I've never done it though, OS X isn't shit enough to require reinstallation every few months [/cheap shot]

Yeah, it's all made up. That wasn't the flight number at all. I can't be bothered checking, but I bet the number of passengers on each plane is made up too, and that verse from the Qur'an.

New "oldest pics of me", on my sidekick. Didn't know there were any pics of that beast, but mink found some off an old camera and scanned them. Woot. You can almost make out the colour from these awsome pictures. Anyway, it was blue. [attachmentid=2492] [attachmentid=2491] And one of mink on his Kona *something*, shortly before the headtube fell off...

I've got a legit version of Tiger if you want that. It was on my iBook, that got stolen. But I still technically own the software, right? Anyway, you can have that if you want (free). Not sure if it'll work on an eMac though.

The last three years I've worked Christmas day and New Year's Eve in a pub (I.e. during the turn of the year) which sucks. But I'm not doing it this year, I'm having a year off, when you guys are all working. Haha
-
b*****d. I want one. I might try and get a second-hand 300D though
-
Hmm, tell me about it. This pic is from almost two and a half years ago. Not sure I've really got any better since [attachmentid=2490] Check out the short shorts

I can't believe that's how he usually runs his tyres. Must be going flat or something. If the tyre rolls off the rim like that, it kinda springs back in a way that knocks you off balance.
