  1. Yeah, and I think you'd dent it. And when you dent it, it loses the strength that it has by being a nice round tube.
  2. I bought my Leeson mainly because I was bored of doing the same old things. I had ridden for about 4 years and pretty much reached the limits of what I could personally do on the Levelboss, and then everything became a bit boring. So I bought the Leeson 24" and it's great, I'm really enjoying riding again. I'm not saying that you couldn't do the same stuff on a longer bike (There are probably plenty of people that can ride their barge like a BMX), but the difference is that a shorter bike wants to be thrown around more. I think it's just more fun, but then I'm sure people have just as much fun on longer bikes. Be prepared to lose an inch off your sidehops though (Y) If you just fancy a change, it's definitely worth thinking about :(

    D*ck Ed Gap!

Blimey that's a bit large. Who is it? It's also a bit sunny for Mansfield at this time of year (Y)
  4. Sounds like you hit a Policeman? That's wrong bwoy.

    Picture War

Doesn't matter 'cos she's on the pill. Hooray! :S
  6. They'd have to be a pretty good shot to get it in your artery though :S
  7. Obviously I didn't get the sarcasm right :) As for the wristbands, if you want to wear one, do it. If you don't like the idea, don't moan about people that do, that's about as clever as the old morons who moan at us for riding bikes like idiots. I guess Adam and Dave have some slight ulterior motives behind this, but hey, it's business. Chill out everyone :P

    Laptops?

I haven't tried ICS with the Wireless, but there is an option for it, so I presume it would work fine. And Wireless networking is a total dodle connecting to a router or whatever, no different to a PC. The signal is pretty good, it's fine upstairs when the router is downstairs etc. At the moment I have the max amount of signal. All good :P The screen is 12" but the resolution is 1024x768, which is the same as most 15" PC screens and the same as the 14" iBook. To be honest, the bigger iBook isn't really worth it, because it's not as compact, the screen is no better and it's noisier (apparently). It's just a tiny bit faster, but it's loads more expensive. And it's plenty powerful enough for a bit of potatoshop. Not tried editting anything, but I'm sure it would manage just fine :)
  9. I'm guessing he wants it to play games on, otherwise there would be no point in spending that much on a laptop. So he won't want an iBook. Anyway, don't get an Alienware, they are so overpriced it's untrue. If you really need a top-of-the-range games laptop, look at Dell's XPS range or Sager. Just shop around a bit and you can get a much better deal.
  10. Aye, it's working again fine here :turned:
  11. I'm not sure what there is stopping me from making the £0.5 Million website, but meh, fair play to the guy to be honest. I can't believe it's actually working. I'm not sure who would want that as their homepage though, it's just a page of adverts :turned:
  12. Did you bend it back with your hands? You probably got greasy fingers all over it if you did... Get the adjustable spanner out and you'll be able to straighten it in no time.

    External Bbs

It's because they didn't even bother to put the bike together properly to take pictures. They just half put the chain together.
  14. Yeah, but it's all the brake dust crap and other stuff that gets in there even without riding any off road. Meh, I don't think it'll cause too much trouble.

    Laptops?

I don't think I want to know to be honest (Y)
  16. Cool cheers Ed. Unless anyone has a spare nob off an Avid that they've destroyed?
  17. You can still turn the little bit in the middle. But there are now no clicks, so I think it'll keep slackening off. Also I dunno if I should let mud and stuff get in there, it might mess it up somehow?

    Laptops?

Both :turned: I think it's a bit excessive just using a whole computer so MSN doesn't clog your screen though!
  19. This one? Apparently it WILL be a Zona (not an Onza), but it might not be sub-£200. More here.

    Laptops?

:turned: I don't think I would get a mac for a desktop system, but for a laptop they're sweet. Really small and sooo good battery life. I get like 5 hours off a full charge. It ain't quite as quick as my PC (3200+), but it's not far off, even though it's only a 1.33GHz with half as much RAM. It's fast enough anyway.
  21. If you land on it or on the chain, it will move.

    Laptops?

Apple Apple Apple :turned: If you don't play games, get one. Or just get a desktop (Windows PC) if you're only gonna be using it in your bedroom.
  23. I somehow managed to lose the red knob on the inside of my Avid. Has anyone managed to lose theirs and does it matter?

Try Primark? M&S is pretty pricey ain't it?
