  1. If you really, really, can't find a 32h rim, then why not just have 2 spokes - gap - 2 spokes - gap. That would surely be the logical way to do it?
  2. Right, I've heard that a good way to swap rims over is to tape the rims together and just take one spoke/nipple out at a time, and swap them over into the new rim. I.e. you don't have to worry about getting the crossing right etc. I wanna try this, but if I need different spokes, I have a question: Can you take spokes out and put new ones in while the wheel is still built. I.e. swap one spoke over at a time? Thanksy
  3. Haha. This took me far too long, and it looks shit

    Van Insurance

Er yeah. A mate of mine just got insured on a Transit-type van (It was actually a Fiat or soemthing), for less that it costs him to be insured on a Ford Escort 1.4l. If you're 17, car insurance is expensive, the end. You should be able to get it for less than that, but not by a whole lot. Maybe £1500? I'm no expert though.
  7. Hmm, this just looks like you with more hair. Never mind (Y)
  8. Yeah, I wasted quite a while reading that. Don't bother. It's like a Goosebumps™ book or something (Y) Yeah, some caver goes into a cave, finds a hole and wants to crawl through it. It's not big enough so he hammers away at it until it is. He hears sounds coming out of it - Spooky! Then he goes in and gets spooked, fags about for a bit pretending to be scared and then crawls out looking pale. The end.
  9. Tarty on a yellow Koxx, that takes me back (Y)
  10. Yeah no I know. I meant wobbles of the balloon in the air :">
  11. Not at all, if you get it right... Just post a pic up of what it says and we'll tell you if it's right. There's no chance you can do anything that's not fixable ;)
  12. Yeah. Or after this wobble effect has died down. Given that the frequency of "wobble" must be >50Hz (complete guess), then for the first <1/50 of a second after it leaves the club, it might still, theoretically accelerate. But then for every oscillation after that, surely the forwards wobble would be counteracted by a backwards wobble 1/50th of a second later. At which point it deccelerates due to air resistance. As for the balloon thing - I can see where you are coming from, but 99.9% of the balloon's kinetic energy must be due to the balloon accelerating off your hand (like when you flick an elastic band), rather than wobbles in the air?
  13. Yeah, probably, but if you've got 58GB of hard drive left, Windows shouldn't be complaining. Control Panel > System >Advanced (tab) > Performance Settings > Advanced (tab) > Virtual Memory change. Make sure it's set onto the drive with free space, preferably the fastest drive you have (if you have more than one), NTFS partition. If should be on "system managed". Most likely you've got too many things running. Start by doing a virus check, then do spybot S&D and Adaware.
  14. That would completely depend on the surface area. But for a pea (sphere), maybe that estimation is about right :)
  15. Grumble grunble bloody sports science types mumble prove me wrong grumble :) I don't see how the expansion of the ball can make it accelerate though?
  16. Fine. Get the cannonballs in place. Click the left cloud again, so you've clicked it twice in total. With the man standing by the catapult lever (and the catapult loaded), click the left cloud again (third time). Kaboom. Quickly press the man by the catapult. Hey presto burning cannonball.
  17. It doesn't accelerate after the club has lost contact. That would be stupid.
  18. Figure it out yourself. Click the clouds 3 times...
  19. My two cents: They are awsome pads. Way better than the Koxx Bloxx I was using. On a ground rim they simply won't budge in the slightest. But! They feel very soft. My prediction is that wear rate will be a bit crap, but only time will tell on that one I reckon. Maybe Steve's found some super dooper compound that doesn't wear down - fingers crossed :)
  20. No, just 2 (if you get them in the right place). You've done something wrong. The line shouldn't break, and the guy shouldn't blow himself up. Maybe you need to destroy the mine first? Oh look, there's a catapult :)
  21. So when do Ben and Danny move up to Elite/Masters then?
