  2. Yeah, mine doesn't. It's annoying.

One a night, by a long way. Like I said before, one per night is a good thing, whereas seven in one night is bad for you.
  4. It could just be a short circuit in the buttons on the case. There's a wire that connects the power button on the case to the motherboard - disconnect that and see what happens. It's a bit of a weird one - quite hard to figure out. My computer does something weird like that too, I've never got to the bottom of it. Basically if I hibernate the PC (rather than shut it down fully), my computer turns itself on at 09:18 precisely. Bizarre.

That's me. Seriously, 3 pints of something strong is enough to make me drunk. 5 or 6 and I'm puking. I'm not sure why, I'm relatively tall and drink quite often. But like you say, at least it's cheap
  6. Who is going to own this TV? Splitting the cost is a bad idea IMHO - what will happen in 12 months when you move out?
  7. Yeah, in Scandinavia it's the law to always have your lights on. It's a safety thing and I would have my lights on all the time if I knew I wouldn't forget to turn them off again. In the daylight you can't see the dashboard lights or your own headlight beams while you're in the car, so I nearly always forget to turn my lights off.
  8. Wow some people get a lot of shin digs. I have made myself bleed a handful of times, but never enough to need stitches. I can't remember the last time it happened, either. I think running pedals with virtually no pins is the way forward

Shut up. I knew that, I was being, er, sarcastic. Honest.

    How is it 'illegeal'?
  11. I'm pretty sure everyone gets that - I know I do. Also if you're skinny it's not uncommon to be able to see your heartbeat. The breathing pain thing I don't know about.
  12. I haven't got one There was a competition a while ago to win a TF email address, I think Quickspider won it.

    Alcohol Units

Where have you read that from? In the UK, the maximum weekly allowance is 21 units (14 for women). In fact it's recommended that men drink 1 or 2 drinks a day (I.e. around 14 units in a week, preferably with meals) as this helps lower risk of cardiovascular disease. BUT not all at once! Anything more than 8 units (less than 4 pints) in one day is considered binge drinking. Binge drinking is baaad, mmmkay? The thing is, you're 17 and you don't give a f**k. Drinking 8 pints in one night IS bad for you, and it's a risk you should be aware of. But it's up to you to take that risk if you want to. If you drink in that same pattern, you'll be in a mess by age 40 easily, but most people don't, they get a proper job or whatever and tone it down.
  14. You can get a pneumothorax doing pretty much nothing - like going up stairs or getting off a bus. I don't think that regular exercise is known to cause or prevent pneuomothoraces so you're both wrong

    24" Bikes

Yeah, I ride a Zoot and it's great. You can't exactly complain about the frame - it's just a Pitbull/Coust/whatever but with street geometry. I think the look puts people off. The Inspired has pretty similar geometry anyway. Besides, Zoots can look good, Dave Marshall's looked nice, and I quite like mine (Shameless pimpin'). Would I have an Inspired over a Zoot, money no object? Probably - they look nicer. But they're quite a lot more expensive and the Zoot is a nice frame

These fools in their offices making these websites - they probably think going out and getting so drunk that you can't see is a bad idea. Idiots.
  19. Not sure if you're joking or not... But have a look at this: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/usermovies/93227.html
  20. Nah the bike is fine. I ride with a guy who can do 40" + bunny hops on a 24seven crosser (jump bike). I mean, yeah sure, he might get 2" more on a trials bike, but for learning the technique that bike is fine.

    Oh Bugger!

Yeah but I bet the wheelbase was about 1010, right?

    Pissed Off...

Ouch that shin looks nasty! From the video I'm not entirely sure which technique you're trying to use. There's the sort of beginner technique where you pull both wheels off the ground at the same time, which is OK but you'll never get more than about 12" with it. Then there's the technique which you should be trying to learn which is to pull up the front wheel first, then the back - sometime it's called 'American style'. In some it looks like you're just doing the beginner style, but then other times you seem to be doing a weird version of the American style, but very rushed. If you watch videos of other people doing it, American bunny hops can look quite lazy - you sort of pull the front end up and then pull the back end up maybe a second later. It looks like you're trying to do it too fast. EDIT: Didn't see the other thread. I've just said basically the same as Marten@scandinaviantrials.
  23. I had an email address which was 'funny' when I was 13. It is now not funny.
  24. Which one do you like? I know they're all pretty similar, but I can't decide whether I like the logo in the middle or at the side (I probably prefer it in the middle) and the outline version vs the glass shelf thing.
