  1. I think now is as good a time as any, if not better. Its been covered in papers, the TV (blue peter etc), maybe get a magazine like Nuts to cover it?
  2. The hazard perception CD's work wonders.

    Phil Feeney Vids

    Youtube. or www.myspace.com/phil_feeney
  4. The problem is, looking after a beemer costs alot. And alot of people who'd buy it afterwards will probably be fussy about dealer stamps, but thats just BMW drivers for you.
  5. Signums are growing on me alot. Same engine as the astra's, mega reliable, a (very) good bit of poke and great for motorway stuff.
  6. Mines just in the garage, double glazed side door (piece of piss to get into if you know how, if theyre robbing me i'd assume they would) and the front door always has cars parked infront of it so it cant be opened). Not locked to anything, but if it was locked to something then they have a choice of nearly every tool under the sun to remove it with. I think they'd steal a motorbike or the tools before some weird looking little bike with a seat rubbing against the tyre. They'd probably mistake my dads scott for being more expensive as it has suspension (big 'ooooohhhhhhh').
  7. Yeah people tend to have bucketloads of them somehow, scan the FS&W forum.
  8. Yes, hurry up! And ancient, but still looks great!
  9. Mk4 Astra GSi, SRi Turbo, Coupe turbo (can get most of them for under 7k if you hunt around, all have the 200bhp Z20LET turbo engine, can also get 1.8 & 2.2 NA coupes) or if youre not fussed about performance a DTI SRi (although they still pull well). Even a 1.9CDTi Mk5 astra? Can get them fairly cheap as theyre so common. Very good engines in 130 or 150ps. My dad has a 1.9TDI 150ps Saab 93 which is a good car, and goes well, buts its pretty big and i dont like the dash. My sister has a Cooper S and stuff keeps falling of it, everything creaks. Not impressed for 15k. Mk 4 Golfs are good, but lacking in performance in comparison to others, and pretty expensive repair/servicing costs.
  10. Totally agree aswell. As a cycling sport im not overly concerned by the effect we have, its minimal. When i recieve parts in the post theres hardly any packaging to start with, but what paper or card there is goes in the recycling bin, the jiffy bags and bubblewrap get put in a cupboard till i sell something that needs posting. Shipping of components doesnt really change alot. Ships make runs all the time, the number of trials parts that get sold compared to say sony TV's or Washing machines again, isnt really alot, its all very light and fairly compact anyway. infact its probably more economical to send a couple of ships full of light aluminium bike parts than it is 1 ship full of washing machines.
  11. Not sure on the audio side, but theres so much better stuff to buy than lexarse lights and M3 mirrors. Look on www.LMFvauxhall.co.uk http://www.irmscher-bits.com/catalog and www.redgriffin.co.uk I can see this turning into a slagging match about chav lights.

    Remember When?

Crescent Ilions were gorgeous! And yeah, that does look like ET in the first pic. Also, who remembers the 'im going to make carbon boosters' phase?
  13. I prefer the older ones to the current ones, so aslong as its been kept in good condition then it should be good.
  14. Ive always used Wellgo V8 copies, theyve been grippy enough and never broken any or lost any pins. Until i find any faults im sticking with them.
  15. Hey, i was planning on riding today but it started belting down with rain, its easing off now but somewhere with an undercover/indoor area to ride would be good. Anyone got any suggestions? Im near MK/Bedford/Luton. Edit: Oops, wrong forum.

    Pad Reviews

Pads: ZOO! Time used:1 Month Rim used:DMR DeeVee, regularly cleaned with degreaser Grind: No grind, no tar Ceraminc: No Brake used: Magura HS33 with standard booster What is your opinion of a working brake:Locks up when pulled hard but still has good moderation How do they compare to previous pads you have used: Much grippier, all round less modulation but thats a compromise for the grabbiness Review:Decent pads if you dont venture into the wet very often, as they barely slow you dont in the wet, let alone lock the wheels. I found manuals hard at first due to the grabbiness of them over my last (standard maggie) pads. My frame still flexes so it does slip on occasion, but i put this mainly down to the fact i cant do much with any boosters due to poor clearance (TA26). Seem to be lasting quite well with my lack of grind on the rim too.

    Remember When?

Arguments we all had with Fricker about how good/not good 2pac was.
  19. It was f**ked before gumball though, he just blamed it on the kid. Plus a few donuts wouldnt exacrtly rape a gearbox.
  20. The owner works for gumball, and did some donuts in bam margeras car, later bams gearbox failed and he blamed it on the guy who did the donuts, so went and trashed the car.
