My mates wondering this, i dont think it can be done but im not too clued up on mods. Is it possible to have 2 or 3 gears on a mod bike and just use a bodged mtb SS tensioner to keep the chain tight? Hes getting an 05 T-pro i think, but he has to ride 3 miles when he comes out, which as you can appreciate will take some doing on a mod bike. I said just find a happy medium between a good riding gear thats easy enough to do trials with, but hes determined to find a way to get 2 or more selectable gears. Im not so sure about hub widths, axle sizes etc. Cheers, Tom

Okidokey, i don't do updates, but i tend not ot do other stuff as a matter of caution. I take it its alright to delete all the ones in C:\WINDOWS? I dont want to go deleting stuff i need!

Mines even weirder. Ive got tha same cranks and BB as i had on my DMR, only difference is bb shell size. Makes no sense.

Ive got some ISIS hussefelts and they keep coming loose and now are getting near the ends. I can't think why though Obviosuly theres no bodge but ive never had this problem with my last hussefelts.

Im up for this too, even though ill lose by miles.

Not a clue how i got it to be honest, although my computer did start going slow after i was looking at porn although it doesnt seem slow anymore so i think that was down to the site. I could just delete them i guess, assuming theyre nothing important? Also, i have an 'acquired' version of XP so im avfoiding windows related scans/updates/checks etc.

I cleaned my rims with it, then went round with some solvent degreaser and that got alot of dirt off after i'd used muc off. Use proper degreaser IMO, muc offs great for dirt, but to get it properly clean use soapy water than degreaer on a rag.

Nah, most of the weights in the hub. Im gonna get a new set of wheels in the not too distant future and put these back on my DMR. That or sell 'em and get 24's for the dmr.

I think my nokian tube goes up to 2.7, minimum tyre size it says to use is a 2.3 but ive always had a 2.1 until now. It's 1.5mm thick and ive NEVER had a puncture with one so i want to keep it really. And i doubt it'll fall apart, its one of tartys masterpieces. He built it in june 04, ive not ridden it loads but all it got used for was bunnyhops and drops(and plenty of messed up ones) on my trailstar, its still straight as hell.

Put my minion 2.35 on earlier, combined with my DV rim, PX hub, 1.5mm nokian DH tube and a stripped down cassete it weighed in at... 6.75lbs! (3kg) Weighs a f**king ton!

Right, whoevers split a ceassette - when you reassembled it what did you use? Last time i split one i got loadsa marks in my freehub body as i left it all loose. Long studs, hammer the original one back like a rivet?

IMO trials is getting over stuff on a bike, however you choose to do it wether its rolling or hopping, youre still getting over stuff on a bike.
