  2. The hugo boss stuff in the ball, with the orange bit.. whatever its called.
  3. Hahaha thats quality! Ive got a fancy dress party coming up, think i just found my costume!
  4. I'm not into the whole pink thing but that does look pretty sweet.
  5. What ghetto are you from?!
  6. Ain't it just! Won't have a normal MOT, itll be more like a kit car style one, and although a seperate enginreers report isnt necessary, he's getting one anyway. He's a boat builder by trade, and as you cans ee the welsings seriously good. Also as a side note, hes no boy racer either, he's in his mid 50's! He's also got a private red V8 RWO (which looks like RWD on his plates he'd got made up. And i dunno if you read much of it, but he had trouble finding a stereing rack that'd fit in the confined space, ended up with one off a metro!
  7. Nah its an astra Mk4 GSI front bumper. Its sprayed in silver lightning (another vauxhall colour) and has a tuned Z20LET out of a coupe in it, (the guy who had it in his coupe is now fitting a V8 RWD conversion I'll try find a spec on the van, its pretty impressive. PS heres the link for the V8 coupe, long, but WELL worth looking through for the pics: http://www.m1gst.com/vb/showthread.php?t=7...ighlight=monaro
  8. Im going up bedford with a BMXer or two tonight, about half 7. We'll be out and about (college, county hall etc i guess) so if you spot us come say hi. Im on a red TA26
  9. Krisboats' old TA26 frame, and a load of old bits of my DMR trailstar (so its pretty heavy really). Rides real nice, a lot better than my old Mk1 Zebdi even with the added weight on this, but i'm still tempted to try a longer stem/bar combo. [attachmentid=7559] [attachmentid=7558] [attachmentid=7557] Frame: Base TA26 Forks: Gusset i think, steely things Bars/stem: Azonic SW risers on planet-x I-beam (or is it X-beam?) Headset: FSA Pig Crankset: Truvativ hussefelts w/ring and bash, FSA ISIS BB, Wellgo V8 ripoffs Gear setup: Shimano Tiagra 9spd rear mech, 105 cassette (13-25 & 22t front ring) Sram chain, deore shifter Brakes: Maggies on standard pads Wheels: Planet-X hubs on X719 w/fire XC pro front and DMR DV w/ (just ordered)minion 2.35 rear. No grind or tar Other bits: XTR gear cables, DMR jump seat, drilled seatpost, ODI longnecks, Nokian 1.5mm thick DH rear tube and stupidly long brake hoses (i was a tad generous when i cut them down)
  10. T-MAGura - you forgot the nicest astra van - 274bhp ZLET'd van - I'd probably go for something like a well specced vauxhall or ford, but audis are a bit nice if my wages will ever allow it!

    Gear Ratio's

I ride 22-14 and seem to get nowhere fast, i was going to buy a smaller cassette as my current ones 13-25.
  12. Nice riding spot, Beds thing about places like that, you can rearrange it when you get bored! ..and i could get all boring on your ass and tel you they're 450mm Dia. Sewer pipes, but i wont bother
  13. Right, out of sheer habit i ride with a fairly short high rise stem and some azonic singlewalls and im thinking of trying ouy some different combo's. What are the plus point with longer stems? I see loads of people doing wheelswaps over walls and whatnot from gaps and ups, but i seem to find that near impossible.
  14. Go to 'Add file ot library' and highlight all the ones you want using the shift/Ctrl keys.
  15. Cheers for the link. I think my 1.5mm thick nokian DH tube might fit a bit better under one of these than my current 2.1, haha.
  16. Cheers for the info chaps. Good point on the rim width too, i would get the 2.35 anyway but CRC don't have any in stock which is why i considered the 2.5. Ill go look elsewhere for the 2.3 methinks.
  17. Right, i've checked the search and FAQ before you say it. I'm gonna get a Minion super tacky and in the FAQ it says a 2.5" fits a base ta26 on a d521, but ive gt a DMR DV which is a fair bit wider. This still gonna fit? ..and is the 2.5" a close fit in the base anyway? Cheers, Tom.

    Work

Civil engineering? Very very basic physics needed, ie 'water runs downhill'
  19. Now thats the kind of reply im after Cheers for that, Joe was trying to fish one out last night to measure but couldnt find them.
  20. Im not really after how to mod the current booster as thats obvious hot to do, im after slightly shorter boosters if anyone knows of any. The magura one from the line between the hole centres to the top id 75mm.
  21. It cant be that hard judging by the amount of clearance there is at the top of the tyre, thats obviously mainly for mud, which a trials bie doesnt see much of to be honest. and the maggies are new, so im not getting V's.
  22. To be honest i think '04 maggies look shit ayway, i don't want to make it worse by filing bits off. Although i will if i've got to.
  23. What boosters are shallow enough to clear the seattube on a Base TA26? My standard maggie (04 model) one clips it so i can't fit it if my brakes adjusted properly. Carbon wold be nice, Dunno if Mr Maher's got any carbonique ones kicking about, theyre apparently pretty shallow. The first one i thought of was whitehurst but theyre probably long fizzled out of existence.
