    Ie Problems

Ive tried system restore which didnt work. No adware or viruses found, ran 2 worm-killer things, cleared the history, temp files and offline content, tried running/installing some 'ie.inf' file aswell as runnig some microsoft system file checker, all to no avail. May try a reinstall or update and if that doesnt work then backup and reinstall XP. Grr.

    Ie Problems

Right, i was on here the other day DLing a video and browsing about and suddenly about 45 IE windows popped up and its been buggered since. I get messages saying about runtime errors with IEXPLORE.EXE and it trying to terminate incorrectly. I also get 'Low on virtual memory' warnings popping up too and everything does mega slow. Anyone know how to resolve this? I've had a good look round google and microsoft.com and tried all that was suggested but to no avail. Sugestions included unsinstalling McAfee Virus checkers, Google toolbars, quicktime and a conflict with outlook 2002, which i dont even have. Im running XP Pro with a fairly recent (but not the latest) version of IE. As a side note, don't tell me to use firefox either Cheers for any help.
  3. My mate was in a similar position to this, he was on life support for a very long time with a bruised brain etc, but he got thorugh it and after a while in a wheelchair due to a smashed pelvis he's now fine. Have every bit of faith in the doctors, theyre a hell of a lot better than anyone gives them credit for, seriously. Best of luck chap.
  4. As much as local authorities piss me off, they lay roads to certain specifications and i highly doubt theyre tested for grip and those speeds. You see too many posts like these days for my liking, so many young people too. RIP guys.
  5. But could you keep backhopping and doing endo's constantly without getting bored? And i do that too, i was watching a video and someone did a big gap and rode down a set of stairs just to complete the move, but to alot of people riding down the steps would be a 'trick' in itself yet it wouldnt occur to most of us.
  6. I agree with a fair few points in here, but kinda mixed. If chavs get trials bike theyll realise how hard it is and give up. Plus you can't sit down on it outside tescos smoking a fag to look cool because theres no seat. But the possibility of more competitions, trials parks, general recognition is bloody good IMO. And with blue peter doing its little bit, its obviously seen as a good productive thing to do. But BP encourage it, and we still get looked at like criminals when we ride Maybe thats why BP featured it?
  7. Ive been searching BBC, ITV and the london2012 site, best it comes up with is 'mountainbiking' and 'BMX' but doesnt specify biketrials.
  8. That would be f**king mega!
  9. I emailed the rubber gloves idea to MBUK a few years ago! Never actually tried it though!
  10. Just wear Jeans, T-shirt and a decent jacket. I used to go out in a couple of t-shirts, a polo shirt and a jumper and always ended up in just a t-shirt. Hands are the biggest problem IMO, just try some decent winter XC gloves, and a fairly thick pair of socks, none of them crap nylon things.
  11. Sweet, thats quality. I'll be pulling my old sheel apart at the weekend!
  12. I'm more than competent at using an allen key, and ive got more than enough sets of decent allen keys, but as i said its half to stop people pikeying stuff. The only things i really round off are the bolts on the back off the brake levers trying to dodge the gear shifter.
  13. I went through a phase of doing a 9 mile bike ride every night, eating a laod of fruit and drinking about 3 or 4 litres of water a day at work, i ended up getting a cold because it was washing so much crap out, bit of a detox, felt really good after though. Shame i didn't keep it up.
  14. I was thinking tonight that whenever i try and sidehop i leave the back brake on, i swear i do. Thing is im not too sure because when i do it i concentrate on the hope and forget to see if i brake or not.
  15. Any of you guys got links from where you got this stuff?
  16. Anyone here swapped anything over to Torx bolts so stop things rounding off or anodised bits for some pimp-ness? If yes where did you get them from? I'm looking into getting some torx bolts so i don't round stuff off/so people don't pikey stuff off my bike etc. Also if i could get hold of some but only in large amounts would anyone be interested in buying any?
  17. Anybody got any decent wallpapers they've made? I'm in need of something new and want some decent riding shots, i've had a search but only really got the 'post your desktop thread'. And ive seen the ones on tartybikes media section. PS: I put it in here as its media, but if mods reckon it should go in chit-chat then feel free.

    Best Pedals!

I'd honestly say Wellgo V8 copies. Tenner a pair, the old V8 design (which has better pins, they dont fall out). Easily servicable and my last pair lasted me 4 years.
