  1. You are now, but when you're old you'll have a vitamin deficiency and you'll shit your bowels out.

    Maintanance

I fit everything properly, thick grease for headsets etc, copper grease or regular thin grease for most threads and other bits. I check my crank bolts as theyve got a habit of coming loose but other than that its a fix it if it breaks thing. If i get bored i might strip down my headset and regrease it, used to do that with wheels too before i had sealed bearings. Rarely wash my bike but if i do its a proper job. If i take something off for whatever reason i always clean it up and regrease/adjust.whatever before i put it back on. Degrease my rims to get the crap out of them every couple of weeks too.
  3. That stuff tends to be very sugary. I'd drink a mix of real fruit juice and water (not together, i mean throughout the day) I spent ages doing a 9 mile ride every night and drinking loads of water at work, home and eating loads of fruit. I felt miles better, never seemed tired when i used to, and it got rid of a lot of shit in me. Got a real bad cold when all the crap was coming out too. Definitely felt thte difference.
  4. I can safely say, sitting infront of my girls aloud calendar at work, yes.
  5. just a PR gag, like the mercs and evo 7's. Chances are if you break the law youll get chased by a 1.7 diesel astra or an omega with 300k on the clock.
  6. Haha that's so good! I won't get involved in the ES debate too much, ive seen them a load and my mates band toured with them (fell silent for anyone who saw them play). It was good to see something a bit different, and they really suited smaller venues with the atmposhpere the 'oldskool' fans created, but theyre overrated these days, although through no fault of their own IMO.
  7. Its just a logical shape... the excess round the bottom near the roller gives a bit of protection, the shape the other end just follows the contour of the slot and the rest is minimal to save weight.

    Problems?

Same boat here, although ive got a similar bike setup. I seem to be better and going up stuff and doing drops, but adding stuff together like ups to gaps im awful. Really need to build my strength back up.
  9. At the drive in, Shai Hulud, FFAF's between order and mdoel EP, Jimmy eat world and the postal service. Also, hopping rails and doing drops (which i never used to like - ever!)
  10. Err, you not think theres a reason why theyre all that shape? Becasue it works well...
  11. Well he does have a BMX but theres nowhere to really keep his mod that's practical.
  12. I did the same as you mate, i used to ride a mk1 zebdi but came back on got a base, its real nice and pretty short.
  13. You say it goes through 3 walls, but are they brick or plaster? Tell your dad to read the router instructions, itll probably say you may get a weak signal going through walls.
  14. IT says ill need to reactivate, does this mean ill lose all my setting/post count etc?
  15. Not sure but theres a 22 on it at the moment, with plenty of space to go bigger.
  16. Why's that? The White Ind's freewheel and a larger chainring isnt a bad idea.
  17. Street is different to park. Tell them park is just ramps and street is like replicating street furniture to mess about on. They wont know any difference. Theyre bastards to deal with, i wish i knew what i do now when i was back sorting out our local skatepark.
  18. But that can easily be overcome with a bigger chainring. He's not running a disc hub but its good to know incase he does get a new wheel anytime in the future.
  19. Nah it's not comfy atall, plus having a high seat doesn't count for shit when you're in some dumbass low gear. I'm so glad i ride stock.
  20. Approach the council saying we want one, then present a petition. Just make one up on word, print a laod out and go get it signed by everyone around. People who move you on, parents, people outside tesco or wherever you ride, schoolmates, teachers.
  21. Someone he knows was selling it and he had the money, so he got it. Im sure as he goes on he'll buy better stuff, seeing as thats how most people built there bikes up on here. We don't all go out and think "i feel like riding trials, wheres that £1500 i had lying around?"

    Isis Axles

It just seems weird as my last ones didnt. Atleast now it only seems the bolts are coming loose and not the cranks working further on. Need some threadlock in the bolts.
  23. That White Ind's thing looks perfect! I thought about using a bmx hub with the threads on both sides of the hub but it would be the wrong way round if you switched the wheel wouldn't it? He bought the bike tonight, '05 T-Bird (not pro, i forgot..), imacculate condition other than a buckled front rim and the seat clamp bolt missing for £100. Oh, and i told him to stop being a pussy and just ride the 3 miles but he didn't listen! Ill pass the link on, cheers mate!
