you know your way around a bike then? in that case why not try and find a frame and forks and the big parts of a bike second hand, then get the little bits (BB, cranks, prdals, grips, tires, all the small parts etc..) from The Best Bike Shop and put them all together that way you could save yourself a few pennies, and also get parts which you like.. i still strongly recomend you try and get your mits on a T-Pro frame, they're really good frames, strong, lightish, brilliant to learn on and awsome value! Hope this Helps Mike!!!

heres one T-Bird 03 T-Pro T-Vee this T-Vee has a reserver on it but i would bid any more than 170 for it, and the picture looks as if it has been taken from google, i'd go careful, and while it's good to start with, you'll need to upgrade it before long! hope i can help Mike!!! Edit: I Strongly recomend you do get a bike it's great fun, the Forums are great, if you have a problem the chaps here will be queing up here to help you, and it's good exercise, also when your riding along on the street you get so many people turning their heads t watch you even when your just riding along it's defo worth the money and dented shins!

yeah i'd go for a T-Pro Here or Tartybikes i'd go for tartybikes, they're waaaaay more helpful than supercycles, ut i strongly suggest you go for a T-pro they're voted the best value for money bikes by Tarty bikes, and a lot of peaole have them so could help you with any problems you have, also they're really nice to ride, and superb to learn on! if your not looking at spending too much on a bike look on E-bay and have a look around for a cheap mod on there i'd defo go for a Mod to learn on as they're so much easier, then go to a stock when you get good, (a mod is the 20" wheel bike and a stock is the 26" wheeel version) sorry if i'm being patranising but i just thought i'd make sure you get the best bike you can! good luck mate hop i could be of any help Mike!!!
-
This Bag holds a 20" bike and only cost 40 quid! besides if your going down under purley to ride, why not save your pennies and go somewhere like France, i know the Frog breathed bastards don't speak properly (French) but you could go on the eurotunned and it'll most probably be a hell of a lot cheaper. or you don't even have to lLeave the country, why not go to a variety of places (mostly seasides they seem to have the best places) kinda like a tour, it sounds really fun! don't forget to get a hell of a lot of films (SD cards) and get a load of good footage for us lads on the forum! Good luck with your desision weebryan hope i could help Mike!!!

Joe wouldn't it be easier to just put wheels on your house and move that to wherever you want to ride. How often does some of that stuff get used? especially the freewheel tool if you don't have a freewheel on your bike? i'd probably never take that much with me, it's knackering enough riding a mod more than 2 miles on it's own, i dread to think what it's like doing it with an army sack on your back (tent and all) cheers for the responces chaps some quite interesting things..pointing no fingers -----> Joe fish <----- Mike!!!

not quite mate a terrabite is 1024 GB, although you can set some os's to read it as 1000, don't wask why also you do realise with a faster pc, you'll have to type and read faster to keep up with it, that also mean wank faster what made you go for intel instead of AMD i've always gone with AMD's you get more choice of motherboard. is it already put together or are you doing yourself? the 2Gb of DDR400 R.A.M will be sweet. well done with the pc mate, personally i would have speny a little less on the pc and bought a few Phunkay parts for my bike.
-
yeah i thought most people would be the same i was just hoping there would be someone who takes something rather unusual and interesting which i could take incase... cheers guys Mike!!!

lol calm down mate! are you sure you can't post in the other parts of the forums? your name comes up in black to me! Mike!!!

Cool, I don't have any spare pads, and i rarley have any money, i like the hoodie idea, i tend to wear mine out with me and take it off when i get too hot, i used to always take pop-tarts with me but i kinda started to get bored of them, they're a good source of energy though! and i used to think they were scrumptious!!
-
thats probably cos your muscles are cold before you start riding, i always just sorta or hook my wrist round my opposite elbow and ull it accross my body when i'm watching my mate ride i do it all the time now it's kinda like a pasttime such as tapping. it's become habit. thanks for the advice though mate! cheese to everyone who has helped! Mike!!! Edit: the 99 change hand rule is where you can only do 99 reps with one hand before having to change hands to stop and sort of RSI... it's a load of bullshite really.

Hey chaps and chapesses, when i go out riding for the day, whether it's just round the corner to the business park, or whether it's on the train i always take: a small variety or tools, incase something bad happens (nothing has yet appart from brakes needed to be tighted) 2x bottles of Ribina you know the big 1 litre bottles you get the squash in. A 1litre bottle of water A spare t-shirt. Some deodrant. to inhale when i get bored (it's really to spray on my sweaty pits) Any snacks(crisps choc sweets ect..) that i find in my cupboard. Some plasters for those serious injouries such as a paper cut, splinter broken spine you know the everyday ones. My lid i only wear it when i'm actually biking not when i'm riding to the location. Camera for the obvious reasons Thats about it really, oh and a rucksak to carry it all in. What do you guys all take? inform me! thanks lads! (i might be forgetting something vital) Cheers Mike!!!
-
i've been lucky i've only ever snapped 3 freewheels (well the teeth inside) and i did all those in the space of 9 days, oh and i'e snapped f**k knows how many crates when i've moved them and landed on them from like 5 ft (i know it's not that high but it's still enough to snap a crate Mike!!!

i don't suppose you could send me a little tiny bit mate just put a small block in an envolope, if you want i'll send you some money to cover the cost of the stamp. thanks mate i'll e-mail you my address buddy! Thanks so much Sembo your a star Mike!!!
-
well why not just get a new frame like perhaps a GU Typhoon 20" or a Zona Zip 20" or a ZOO! Python they're all less than 300,00 pennies from The best bike shop!
-
Occasionally i can get my big toes to click everytime i bend them, and after many years of clicking my thumbs i can now do it just by bending them as tightly as i can, but i rarley click my fingers. it's not clicking but it's about fingers, i have my brakes set up so i can pull the leaver fairly close to the grip, and when i get tired and don't pay much attention i sometimes pull my brale leaver down onto my middle finger cos it moves under the leaver, and my gloves are fingerless. Mike!!!
-
lol i'll keep that in mind, but what about the 99 change hands rule? i'll bust both wrists i'll just leave it down to my girlfriend.
-
i'm pretty sure you can't, cos it's a lot smaller. What frame you considering? i love the link (best bike shop ever!) tarty bikes are really helpful Mike!!!
-
i'm pretty sure nothing's cracked, i haven't got it checked, but it's not bad enough to be cracked, thanks for the help guys, i guess i'll just have to wait for it to go away, and use Gawk's idea when i'm riding! i knew most people on here were helpful but not this helpful i only made this topic 15 minuites ago and i've already have 3 really useful responces, thanks so much folks, i'll try out the bandage method. Thanks Guys Mike!!!

Hey guys, i'm not sure if this deserves it's onw topic, but noone seems to read the small questions sticky topic, i think we've all become used to it being there and don't pay much notice to it. it's a good idea though! AnywayI've been pissing about on my bike in my back garden on some crates quite a lot latley, and just recently my wrist, and lower thumb have started to be really painful, i've tried putting that deep heat cream on it but it doesn't seem to make much difference (other than feel really uncomfortable) does anyone else have this problem? do you think wrist supports would be any good, i've never really considered them cos i figured they'd probably limit your movement. before anyone says no it's not due to wanking! thanks for any help guys Mike!!! (if this doesn't deserve it's own topic then please close it or delete it, cheer's guys)

What Music Do You Think Works Best On A Trials Video?
mike replied to Ollie Histon's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
I Think Anything goes well within reason, it depends on how you edit it, and what type of trials your doing, if it's like big fast gaps and drops, then you want something with a faster BPM but if your doing some flat-land or rails etc, then something a lot slower goes perfectly. I take it your making a video then mate? well good luck, be sure to post it on here... Can't wait! Mike!!! -
What an unusual topic. Well thought of mikehulltrials, i've never thought of trials that way, besides a lot of the time the bikes have more chance of getting laid that it's owner, especially jaffacakes' bike Mike!!!
-
Fergcheese who used to be on this forum (he doesn't ride anymore ) got his bike nicked. So it's quite likley that a chav / steek etc... could have stolen a bike and got into trials that way, and still hangs around with his mates and gets ASBO's Mike!!!
-
If your looking at spending big money then go for the Koxx Vinco Pro it's the sweetest frame that ever fell into the sugar bowl after swimming in tracle If not go for the Kot cos it looks much better, or the limley like chrishayton suggested You could just spend your pennies on completley pimping out your Eco Pure, like get a new paint job on it. Mike!!!
-
yeah that could be the cause of it all, take your chain off, get some petrol in the bottom of an icecream tub, completley submurge the chain in the petrol, and leave it overnight, then take it out, move every link around, then dry it off completley, and grease it up again, i'd use a high melting point engine grease. also if there is even a tiny buckle in your chainring or freewheel, it'll createa tight spot, when the chain goes over it, this could also be the cause of your problem! Mike!!!
