my echo TR's lever started to act wierd, levers returns so slowly despite having new bleed and seals/o-rings. And the HS33 I saw online in my area were like gold. specially those with neon accents or the last HS33. These were the lowest price I have ever seen, that is why I ask if those were much better than echo....

Guys, Just asking if this is worth for use or the new ones performs better. I was just curious of setting my shimano levers aside to try the benefits of longer blades. I have these MT levers for quite sometimes until I found a very cheap repait kit. So far, these holds better than shimano maybe because of longer lever blades and less stress on my fingers. The only thing I wonder is a bit of spongy feelings, unlike the shimano where it is so firm, but the bite is there. Modulation is very noticeable. If ever these levers break, should I get the same (so cheap) or go with the newer models. Any significant performance difference in stopping performance? Cheers!

I have posted on another thread until I found this. The only thing I got from the shop was transaction copy. Days counting and upto now, I got the same answer from the Shop. Either they care for it or not, not sure and I really feel I lost my money on this situation.

I guess being in Asia area warranty issues will be like a smoke. I was tracking the shop and all they can say is hanging... will sending my hub to machine shop, refill and re-thread would work or not worth at all?

Claiming warranty sounds like fishing in the forest for me. Seller say's no reply from Hope, Hope say's it is after-sales department to handle. Days counting and my patience also melting. Not even sure what will happen next. Few days more, and I will lost hope from Hope. Will try SS hubs from Taiwan or China with promising specs but easier budget.

possible stupidity works for my stripped hope pro4 hub. I saw this on youtube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=OerTB0iEvsE Drill four holes over the ratchet and weld with stainless rod. Cool down and fill with epoxy..... Just the last option i can think off... Will it kill me?

Oh, finally I found this thread.... I posted related topic about hope Pro4 stripped thread.... And was about to hope for warranty but it feels like nothing is going to happen since I am mega miles away from UK and the Chinese Shop is midway for the process.....

if only I got the tools to extract the ring, maybe just maybe JB Weld can solve the problem......

yes it is 1,350 Chinese Yuan and the price was last year. the hub looks legit, in a box, some papers and no doubt being a clone.

That is the only "receipt" I can provide.

Kobeibike is a shop in China, they must have emailed HOPE as well. I am not sure how things will go...

I may be stuck with this bike. I am a short guy, can't afford another bike if it ain't break. Plus, I cannot ride as often as before. Work gets much more than I can compare...

Frame: CJBike 24 - steel Fork: Spomann 26 Tyres: SE Bozack Hubs: (front) nameless - (rear) Hope Pro4, just failed last night Spokes: IDK Handlebar: Hypartbox SAWBIKE few Ti bolts from China........ Hope my scale didn't scam me... (scale also made in....)

it breaks my feelings, expecting for longer use as I assumed the price point is way higher than other makes.... Though my Novatec/Factor also ended on May 2022, riden since Nov. 2020....hmmmmmm

Hub bought last January 2022. Pawls engage but the ring diffenitely loosen thread. I am not an aggressive and I only ride week ends for less than 2 hours. Am I cursed? Freehub is intact.... Thread in the hub shell for the ring.... the end....
