  2. i heard someone used to abuse koozer rear hub and the bearings failed. But replacing bearings was not hard at all. By the way just stumbled in chinese-online shop. Have a look at these: https://item.taobao.com/item.htm?spm=2013.1.20141001.2.191e6eff5o3f74&id=622392145962&scm=1007.12144.95220.42296_0_0&pvid=e5703ecc-b355-4bd8-938f-a6a43756cd3a&utparam={"x_hestia_source"%3A"42296"%2C"x_object_type"%3A"item"%2C"x_hestia_subsource"%3A"default"%2C"x_mt"%3A0%2C"x_src"%3A"42296"%2C"x_pos"%3A2%2C"wh_pid"%3A-1%2C"x_pvid"%3A"e5703ecc-b355-4bd8-938f-a6a43756cd3a"%2C"scm"%3A"1007.12144.95220.42296_0_0"%2C"x_object_id"%3A622392145962}

    i am so very gay on all his videos.... full of surprises...
  4. mine still solid... 180 rotors and cheap metallic pads
  5. a few more questions about chains, instead of Z1eHX any opinions on the alternatives, I couldn't find (no one knows locally) Z1ehx. I did found KMC 610 but only narrow type was available. It doesn't seat properly on my fat cog and chainring. Any reviews on the following chains posted below? Those were for sure available but online:
  6. try swapping caliper / rotor. headset not loose as well?
  7. pad rocks, loose rotor bolts, caliper bolts or maybe air/contamination in brake system?
  8. I have been trying to ease my head about this tight/loss of chain, and to minimize the slack DIY was the only way for me, and also saved me some chains. I have made different types of these and this is my current one. VIDEO0331.mp4
  9. This is the closest I made but still confused, which will be the best approach and exit at further distance not close to the ledge. 2021-05-21-19-22-50.mp4
  10. I am still struggling on this and often confused. I am right foot forward, and trackstand with bars turning to left. should it be a small pedal kick then turn to left? double hop then turn left? pull front turn left? or I am too old for this?
  11. the heighest I've ever done on this tank. Not very much but happy to get higher than my wheels. Oh that is from the ground to top on messy sidehop..
  12. how i just wish, there is a simple way to do the opposite. use a tapered fork on a straight 42mm head tube...
  13. if only i did not broke few of brake adapters and calipers, I should be running 203mm on my steel bike as well. I am on the 180 but fair enough I am still processing to learn....
  14. I am suspecting this causes my usual back pain or maybe. There must be some re setup needed on my bike to straighten my back or I made my body position wrong since learning? HELP please....
  15. This is where I get my shoes my pedal pins made an autopsy on my first ever Original freerider. Took less than a year to completely stung my socks and feet. With these re-processed shoes, it felt much better. stiffer sole, lasted more than my first one and best of all it is around 60% cheaper.... If only this shop sells the soles only, then I can restore my old ones....
  16. bought original freeriders last mid-2019, soles totally broke by pedal pins after 8 months. bought re-worked (china) freeriders a month after the first one broke, took almost a year to feel the pedal pins unto my foot. bought my third freerider last week, exactly the re-worked one. Cheapest, stiffer sole, same upper material, only less taggings. the site states that they were used to make the fiveTen shoes in china and kept the design and materials, even the factory was deteched by FiveTen...
  17. we wait for those who rides Extention POTTS, I am very sure they can read this...
  18. for what I have noticed in my setup, since my levers were all old maybe. The feel is not as smooth at all shimano brakes, like pulling like nothing to stop then brake bites. It feels like a bit of resistance but gradually biting until stops (modulation) and I loved it. I am already planning to replace sa seals on my shimano master cylinders since those were pre-owned parts since 2014...
  19. I do made for me and it took a lot of stages just to look better, but still weirdo!
  20. i was bleeding my brakes few months ago, and I just found out that not all mineral oil (shimano/tektro/magura/any names) mix together. That made me, purchase a greater volume (one name) rather than small repacks. Then, I did flush the whole system and bleed fresh with out any remains of the old oil. Hope that gives a hint.
  21. haven't got those new one, but my previous freeriders only have 6-8 months life specifically the soles vs pedal pins. Upper parts were always intact..
