  1. If I were you mate, i would save up the extra 15 quid and get the hi-fi's. Makes sense, whats 15 over a year (Y)
  2. haha Whos alan keys? No seriously, i think that that tool kit is too expensive, by a good set of allen keys(10quid) and a b tool, crank extractor, cassette tool, chain tool and a chain whip, oh yeh and a pedal spanner, and although these might be expensive, the tools will be of better quality than the one's in the tool kit, therefore lasting longer and working more effiently :P
  3. hey sorry to hear about the bike, cant help im afraid, i was just thinking are you the guys we met in manchester, me and my mate were on 26" koxx's( one was an xtp) and and some lad we no wer on a python.

  8. Yes I no, i'm going to ring hope tomorrow, but usually the teeth on the ratchet break off or wear down, but in my case this time the ring that the teeth are attached(the part the replace when you normal send it back) has threaded or something as it just spins wen the teeth engage. Thats why i posted just to see if this has happened to anyone else.
  9. Hey,I bin out for a ride today and my hope mono hub slipped but not as in the pawls. It just pedaled both ways. When I got home i stripped the hub and found out that the ratchet ring was just spinning. So i think ive threaded it Has this happened to anyone else? cheers chris
  10. I use this booster and it stops the frame flexing, although flex in rim/pads are still noticeable :-

    Stem

If you want 25.4 get a try all stem from bikedock or cleanbikes. for size 110 x 15 is a good size for a long bike in my opinion. Don't think they make one with 10 degree rise. You could also try the new Hope stem, they will have the size you want :D
  13. The Onza looks really good :D , although the stays are going to get really damaged due to the bash not covering them :( . That picture by Tartridge in my opinion looks a lot better and would still be able to use the same method for chain tensioning :D , make that instead (Y)
  14. Ring Hope, I've sent my hub back in the past due to it skipping and they just replaced all the internals the ratchet and the freehub body free of charge  Hope tel. 01282 851200
  15. Armourdillo has ceased production of its frame protector. Does anyone no why this is, as they seem very popular and work great, or are they developing a newer frame protector.
  16. Haha thats well kool. Nice on Tim, :P don't think i'll be trying that on my koxx though.
  17. Echo Urbans are great :P. Nice and light although still really strong, and look great too!
  18. That Middleburn bashring coverted to a booster looks great. :P How well does it work. Might have to try it as I no longer use my Middleburn bashring.
