You can adjust the hope mono trial to pull into where you want it, so that both your levers pull to the same point. I wouldnt use it if you couldnt.
Plus the hope adjusts pad wear automatically so no need for a tpa. I havent had any problem with the screw coming loose or moving like james has.
It is a very good point that the lever blade is a very similiar shape to the mag, keeps the feel consistent.
Not knocking your review just pointing out some things. (N) (N)
But all the air in the system should be in the master cylinder/resivoir right.
So surely if I just top this up it would the system would be full??
I could really do with some advice please?? :-
I just made my brake leak from a crash, I have tightened the bolt that came loose. (the one that connects the hose to the caliper) So can I just top the resvoir up with DOT 5.1 or will I need to rebleed??
Cheers for any info

What are you on about, how about grab, lock, power, modulation, feel, hope service, pimp look, robust, maintance free!!!!
Cant really think of anything else I would want from a disk.
The avid is very good aswell just dont knock everything else.
I was in a very similar position to you, One mile drive to our house and nothing around it for miles, no gas either. Any way we were with bt for normal connection and asked them to do broad band and they gave us a huge quote to do it.
Went shopping around and went with wanadoo because they are not to expensive and they gave us a free modem and all that, plus they paid bt to install the cable and everything.
On a slightly seperate note, I have just got a rear classic king and the spokes in the wheel are quite loose. I want to tension them but Im not sure how tight to go as I have heard you shouldnt tension a king wheel to much because they can pull the shell apart slighlty and make it skip, and also that if its too tight it can rip the flanges off. Mr porter says he has his quite tight and has had no problem, what is the view of people who have kings and who know how to build???
I would say tighten the spokes properly, and also if you have a hub with cones then make sure they are tight.
Also make sure your qr is ok, because some times I used to bash them about and bend the lever area so that when you tried to do it up it was very stiff to move even though the qr wasnt actually tightening the wheel to the frame.
If that makes sense :-
Just measured my old disk and its 165mm probally cos it was for the rear.
Just wondering why you dont see more of the leeson disks about if they improve the lock so much. Be good for natural.
Do you know if 160 c2 disc will be ok with my mono trail 160? Sounds like a stupid question but Im not sure of the caliper no.
I have an old c2 160 rotor at home so I might machine something myself
Why would it be too powerful? Do you mean it would be too grabby and hardly no modulation?
I have a mono trial 160 and would be interested in a more grabby feel.
Would the leeson rotor achive this? Were they designed to lock up?
I have an aztec rotor at the mo.
Yeah it was cool to meet Mr Janson, a real nice guy with good sense of humour.
Cool to meet a trialster from a different land, and he had a cool style.
Would be interesting to hear his comments on the uk scene and some of the spots in the uk compared to sweden.
True I see him do it. And I do find it amazing because I really struggle to bunny hop my short control.
But the question is Janson, could you go higher with a tap?
I would quite like to see this as Im not really sure what you mean, and it sounds rather cool.
Plus there is always the trusty moto style front and back tap, but I dont think that would work on a mod.
Stupidest thing I have ever heard. EVER!!!
So you never learned to trackstand JT?
Who never does trackstands when they are riding??
You made me laugh very loud.
I think you should be able to track stand with both feet and with the wheel facing either way.
Dont listen to JT!
How is it a waste of time?? What if you had to ride up a wall then straight up a wall after that was only 1/2 pedal stroke away and you had to carry all of your speed. You would have to go up one of the walls switch.
You really limit yourself by say stupid things like that.
Its like saying learning to sidehop both ways is a waste of time, or even why sidehop at all when you could just back wheel it with a run up.
Stupid
