  1. time to learn to pronounce all the different flavours in perfect swedish now then, in preparation. btw, the first time i got 'drunk' it was off 2.25% rekorderlig gooseberry. memories....
  2. Easy way to spot on videos: Any shiny cymbal that says Zildjian on the bottom is an A Custom. If they say K they are either K or K Custom, K Customs can have a brilliant finish (shiny) unlike the regular K. I'm sure he changes around his cymbals alot, but it's quite common for drummers to use darker cymbals like K/K Custom in the studio and A Customs live, as they are brighter and come in bigger sizes....
  3. I'd make a guess at Rekorderlig. They have a shitload of different tastes, most are fairly good! In my opinion better tasting than Kopparberg; less 'thick' musty flavour. Flavours of Rekorderlig Cider avaliable from Systembolaget (Swedish govt. controlled alcohol stores): -Päron (pear) -Skogsbär (forest fruit) -Fläder (elderflower?) -Hallon/Stjärnfrukt (raspberry/carambola) -Jordgubb/Lime (strawberry/lime) -Julecider (christmas, = apple/cinnamon) -Krusbär (gooseberry) -Passionsfrukt (passion fruit) -Sommar (summer, = peach/lemon balm)
  4. 127 with english as my second language. (best excuse ever.)
  5. best of both worlds: pizza with beef or pork fillet, bearnaise sauce, tomato, mushroom, cheese. or maybe a kebab pizza with kebab meat, sauce, lettuce, cucumber, oinion, tomato and cheese. popular swedish pizza, and i'm not even joking. probably something classier than that though but i can't think of what. entrecote?
  6. i spend wayy to much monies on food then, like 40 quid a week. and thats not even take out very often.
  7. Has it got epic string arrangements?
  8. Regarding the money I get; about 190 quid is what the government gives me for being a student, the rest is a loan. Also nice to know is that uni is free in Sweden.
  9. just out of interest, how much money do you 'get' every month for living and stuff? How much is the rent? I get about 600 quid to live for every month, and pay around 350 quid every month for rent/internet/tv. As long as I don't spend more than 8 quid on food every day, I'm fine. Take outs are a real killer, they drain the wallet quickly. Also going out to 'normal' places like pubs and clubs. Private parties or stuff that the union or other societies arrange are usually much cheaper.
  10. I broke a bb once. The bearing on the non driveside cracked. Got a new bb on warranty and I have been riding it for.. err.. two years? fsa platinum pro dh by the way, the blue one....
  11. macintosh hd -> users -> [your user] -> drag the pictures folder to the sidebar thingy.. easy peasy.
  12. oh no you di'int! what do you call a clever guitarrist? an oxymoron. (now it's sleepy time in sweden land)
  13. what do you do when a guitarrist knocks on your door? you pay for the pizza!
  14. how many guitarists does it take to change a lightbulb? 10: one to screw the bulb in, one to hold the ladder and 8 watching and screaming "FASTER FASTER!!"
  15. what's the difference between a drummer and a guitarrist? about half a measure...
  16. if you ask me, getting titanium or aluminium bolts is a last resort. i read so many threads about people stripping the threads on their frames and breaking alu bolts, i think steel bolts is a safer and much cheaper way to go, unless you know what you're doing. maybe you do, maybe you don't... magnesium pedals will save up to 100 grams, which is really nice.
  17. isn't this a line from divin' duck blues, but goes whisk(e)y instead? also; what's the difference between a toilet and a drummer? the toilet only needs to handle one asshole at the time, while the drummer has the whole band...
  18. it was even less funny the second time.
  19. What's the difference between an elephant? It can neither ride a bike.
  20. Viz forks KMC K710 chain may not be lighter, but stronger Schwalbe Big Betty rear tyre Schwalbe Nobby Nic front tyre Maxxis Welterweight tubes 74 Kingz or Rohloff tensioner Single rear cog, spacers VP mini seat without post Wellgo mg1 mag pedals
  21. get some wellgo mag pedals and use them. saves lots, but if you're a basher, use them on comps only.. light front tyre like a schwalbe nobby nic or oldschool mich hot-s. get super light tubes front and back. i used to use some cheap cheng shin ultrathin tubes front and back for ages with maxxis tyres, no punctures. currently running maxxis welterweights in a big betty on the back and in a mich mountain xtrem front. if you want the bike to feel more balanced, get a heavier front tyre.
  22. word. boiling water is not as good.
  23. the whole difference between "backwards" and "forwards" grinds is bullshit. it's an angle grinder, not rocket science.
