  1. Bingo! It kidn of acts likea four bolt mounting system in a way as you can only slide it up and down using the booster thingy.
  2. Its not, lol, you can bend it in your hands.

    Team 2005

I wouldnt say the new echos. Looks fine on the Hi-fi but i deffinatly prefer the old teams. Those toptubes look really high and also the huge gap just looks weird. But then again its how it rides not looks. Unless your silly like me and like a nice looking bike too.
  5. Surley things will just fall down the gap and create a mess in your steerer tube. If you have a steel steerer then surley when it rained all the water would go down the tube and rust it. I'll stick with my normal stems and topcaps.
  6. Your thinking of the RAT booster, thats a standard booster that comes with every 2005 mag.
  7. You put the booster on the frame then put everything else on top. The elbows on the old models were replaced by just having a thread on the end of it which sits in the booster. If you get me.

    Music

Erm I like alot of different music. Mainly heavy stuff like Lamb Of God, The Agony Scene etc, but I do listen to a lil bit of emo and some lighter stuff like Killswitch but Im more of a metal man myself. People seem to be mentioning the new System of a Down album, I think it sucks their other stuff was better.
  9. The frame already has the nice brush effect I wanted, popping down there in about an hour, go get some autosol (as I thought my dad had some already) and some laquer, frames been nitromorsed. Piccy here
  10. I think a monkey with a pen in his arse could have draw a better seat tube.
  11. For £80 this is the best I think Hayes HFX-9 XC But for £90 you can get Hayes HFX-9 DH IMO I would go for the 8" DH version £10 more for alot of power. But either of those be good.
  12. Ah cheers Adam (Y) One thing I've found with the Toxsin is the paint comes off way to easy. Damn nice to ride though.
  13. Hey. I am going to strip my frame as the paint is scratching way too easy. So I know I need nitromors etc but I want to get a brushed effect like on Koxx frames as it will matchs my forks this way. How do I get this effect? Also should I laquer it after to preserve it? Also how much nitromors would I need to do just a frame and roughyl how much from B&Q or a similar shop? Thanks. Nick
  14. Ive got a 203mm Avid Cable with XTR lever, and some people I ride with are scared of it. Im not sure how powerful the Juicy 7 is but I'm going to get one. I was like you and insisted on no cables, but I changed my mind after using one, if you must have hydraulic then try the juicy 7, abit out the price range. Or for about £80 Hayes HFX DH 8", my mate has some they are good too.
  15. Im not really that good at sidehops. Trying them on new fame and the extra length is so much nicer I did 32" odd today at a guess (just below bar) which I was really impressed with.
  16. Like everyone says why change if you like them? Ive run plazzies on a grind before and worked well. Then I went to Koxx browns, whic i prefer as they qont squeek and I think have better modulation but not quite as much bite. Id say stay with plaz or get some Koxx browns, unless the colours of Koxx pads like green etc dont actually change the wear rate etc then get Koxx greens
  17. Just going to get some crackers and cheese

    New Site

Hey, Just about finished new site Bike-Trial.co.uk needs a few more pics adding and probaboly a few problems with it. Please comment on anything you find and on the site in general. Vids on the video page (Nick Vs. Garden) EDIT: Adding another video thats half done, as two of us have changed frames and the footage is a few months old. Called Stare At The Sun.
  19. Four bumholes and a finger in your pants. About a Bumhole Dude wheres my bumhole (and the sequal) Dude your bumholes in my pants.
  20. If Im not mistaken, I think you might be able to stick headset spacers on, probaboly the wrong width but I think the actual diameter is the right size. Never tried it though, just compated a headset spacer with cassette one and they looked damn close.

  22. Well I heard the PS3 will have 6-9 cell chips running at 4ghz each. Also with dual 6800 GFX chips. Blue-ray as well. I see the PS3 as being £1000+ with everything they say. The xbox 360 however has been unveild with 3 3.2ghz G5 processors which will produce just abit of power (Y) . It has a next gen ATI R500 chip for gfx which has 48 pipelines. The vertex and pixel sahders all run through the same pipe now, this is the way ATI think graphics should go. nVidia are staying with two seperate pipes. Which will work better who knows. The xbox 360 also has embedded DRAM for the gfx chip which will be either 256 or 512 no one has said yet as far as im aware. Its having 512mb of ram for use like on a normal PC as far as im aware they are doing the TurboCache sorta idea where the gfx and system both share the ram. The gfx chip will be something like 700mhz core and i think its 1.4ghz memory, someone may want to check that but I think thats what I read. They are staying with DVD's or HD-DVD as its a format everyone is used to and Blu-Ray might offer more space but its new and theres still problems. It also comes with a 40gb harddrive fr some reason which all the games are designed to use. Xbox live comes in two versions, silver=free for everyone and gold ispaid for and has a few extras.
  23. I can do about 3/4" over bar on a good day so about 40-42" odd. Started learning them on my Koxx then I changed my frame and getting used to it on a longer frame is harder but alot easier. I've also found that some days I can tap and just go, smooth as hell, then the next day not be able to manage it at all. Although my consistancy is getting better. Tapping is definatly an art that needs to be perfcted.
  24. I bokre mine last night, ripping apart my mech and 5 spokesi n my brand new rear wheel. I rebuilt it on the train on the way to portsmouth today. Its my first of 2005.
