Surely the daylight was a bit limited 5 months ago, they only get about 6 hours of light a day in the middle of winter, ...on a good day!

A week or so ago the M.A.D. team went all the way up to sunny Orkney to perform the M.A.D. show. We managed to grab a few spare hours to hit the largest town on the island, Kirkwall and bash out some lines! Riders are Tim Stedman, Nick Manning and me, thanks to Tim for the photos (he's currently in Guernsey on another tour!) Some insane riding there. Didn't really like the music, but thats just how it seems to be these days with these sorts of videos. Some of the more technical lines in there were pretty good as well, but the big lines were just insane! Seriously though, its gonna end badly soon. Someone WILL kill themselves trying to make an outrageous video like this. I'm not looking forward to that day.

Terrible, terrible news, I'm deeply saddened by this. I've never had the chance to meet Gavin, but his name would always spring up amoung other top riders on the forum and in MBUK. The last time I saw him was when he rode in the first round of the nationals at Bracken Rocks last year. My thoughts are with his family and friends, it's just too young to die, the world is unfair. Rest in peace

Good ain't it Lets face it, wouldn't have had any chance any other way. Least I bothered to turn up though, I was suprised at the low numbers in the higher classed. Such an awesome venue and competition!
