  1. It's difference Dave. And I was just trying to be constructive, I haven't quite worked out whether your reply was in jest or not, but I was trying to make a serious point. If that last post wasn't meant to be dry humour then I suggest that you should think before attempting to make enemies with any entry paying riders, as it's entries that you have struggled with in the last few years. Thank you
  2. I don't mean to be rude, but if that's the flyer, I think you could do a lot better. If you are wanting a good crowd of spectators then I think it would be a good idea to put a little bit more effort into the poster/flyers. I know it might not be your thing, but I'm sure someone could help you out here. Please take this as constructive, Thanks
  3. Cool, I won't be putting extra weight on my feet, may save a little, bonus
  4. I'm back home home for the weekend and I would like to go riding. So is anyone planning on riding somewhere in the North East? North Yorkshire or Co Durham, Teesside sort of area? Most likely to be riding saturday. Thanks Andy
  5. They've only had two recorded failures in total so far, and considering it's a lightweight competition frame, I thinks thats pretty good.
  6. Well thats a good point, but I'm going to change to something else, so I wouldnt mind knowing what the change in weight is, just so I can have a grasp of what an extra hundred grams feels like on my feet
  7. They're a bit stiff for me to be honest mate. I was looking at an approach shoe or something more along those lines
  8. Yes a 2.4 will fit, Bigman has ridden with one, and the development frame was tested with a 2.4 RQ Thanks
  9. What is the weight of a new pair of Try-all shoes? I've had them for a number of years now and have eventually got fed up with their pathetic durability. So I'm looking for some sort of alternative. I'm not going to go down the Ribo route, as I dont think they're much better, but I am curious to know what sort of weight have I had hanging of my feet for the last few years (5+ years!). Unfortunately I dont have any means of weighing the ones I currently have, and they've about dropped to bits anyway! Thanks, Andy
  10. Awesome video, so many mint lines in there!! Those lines outside of KFC made mine look rubbish! Still in awe with that rail to box in loughborough, serious respect for that! Haha, just seen a cheeky little edit @ 3:53
  11. we got all the way to the M606 from leamington then had to turn back gutted
  12. So its: Steve-O Bendy Shaun H Myself Kyle? Phatmike? anyone else?
  13. Laughed at the last clip, it just looked like you wanted an excuse to strip off and jump in!
  14. wow, i usually finish work at 13:30 on a friday if ive done my hours, i'm tempted...
  15. Too right! On another note, anybody been watching the Curling recently? Me and my housemate got well excited when this lady came on. I think they should be made to do it in more revealing clothing, what a shot it would be then Eve Muirhead
  16. To be honest, the cost of living aint going to go down much for students, however, tuition fees, thats where the scandal is!! £3200 for a years tuition, what the f**k do they do with it all? You can see why all these new uni building are going up all over the place for bragging rights. Labour f**king government and Tony Blair, wanting 50% of all young people to go to uni, thats ridculous!! There just aren't the jobs for all of these qualifications! It certainly doesn't set you up for life, quite the opposite in fact. How many students actually come out of uni and know exactly what they want to do and go straight into the field of work in which they studied? One other fact that really grinds my gears are foreign students, or more accurately, the university's favor of them. Without meaning to sound old fashioned and un-diverse, how can it be that a foreign student is worth 4 times as much I am? Fair enough, make some money out of the rich kids from China, but dont treat them as 4 times as special when they dont get off their arse and dont do any work in their first 3 years of studies cos they've been spoon fed all of their life. i.e turn a blind eye when they get caught cheeting on coursework. They're not even british citizens, but they get preferential treatment! Maybe the government should use the extorsionate fees that they pay to fund the educations of the people who belong to this country, so that there isnt a whole generation still paying off student loads well into their 30s and stuggling to pay their mortgage! Rant over
  17. This is sounding really promising. As Jack Meek prooved last year, its possible to get huge interest just from this forum along. I would certainly be up for it. I think a big arena typre trial course could keep everyone happy. But if theres one thing you do do, please, please make it SPEEDTRIALS!! -Andy
  18. All levels are catered for. So I would suggest that the best thing to do is come along in plenty of time for the stat so you can have a look at some of the sections first. Then decide what you think suits you best. If you find it is either too easy or too hard then you can always change routes providing you haven't ridden more than 3 sections. Hope this helps
  19. Yeah man we're going, would be nice to see a few more faces there as well!
