  1. CBT? crankflip backflip tailwhip?? im struggling, help I aways thought it stood for Compulsory Basic Training
  2. I'm pretty sure it wouldn't happen if it's trust owned. With the current sitiuation as it would be seen to be causing damage to the land/rocks. Might be possible if it was a local farmer, but I say might...
  3. Dont touch it. It'll only end in tears, theres no need for it to be any lighter, I can't see it being very strong if you do. Save the money that you would undoubtably need on a new rim and grow some muscles instead. Edit: Hmm, looks over stiffness, think i know which one I would choose
  4. Cool pictures! Ali, must have been a really fast flip to do it with that little height. Crazy!
  5. Mike is away in India at the moment, back this week ...I think
  6. not wearing leathers a take it??
  7. Measured it at 1050, a 45mm rake fork would put it to 1060
  8. email them, you never know
  9. Great vid! Nice camera work and editing, makes simple moves really watchable. Think everyone will agree that you should make a full length one! I like that tune as well, White Lies have a few good ones out. EDIT: And that Pure vid is awesome! Can't believe I haven't ever seen it before. Some knarly riding in there!!
  10. Yeah, I had it spun around with the idea of doing that, but i just thought I'd try it with it standard for a bit, I can actually sit on it which is nice. Will see how it goes and whether I need the extra clearance. Just had my first proper ride on it in Birmingham with Matt Burrows. Seems good for taps, gaps and spins. Bit of an all-rounder really.
  11. I agree with you Rowan, they didnt get it bang on first time round, but its a great little frame for the money in my eyes
  12. Matt Burrows, Kyle L, Shaun H, Myself and a few others are riding Birmingham if anyone's interested. Broad Street area at 12ish.
  13. looks looks looks, suppose you dont have to look at it when your riding it
  14. Also built this one up today I've just transferred all of the parts over from the old one. Again, sorry for the truly terrible pictures. As Ben was saying, it really does ride really well, but I'm yet to give it a proper blast as I've been a bit preoccupied with the Switch! Not sure on the weight, but the frame is a touch lighter than the first slate - which was 9.5kg as a full build. Ben's is probably a better build, check it out here Thanks Andy OUT
  15. Just finished building this today. So far its been nothing but smiles. Its really short with the Rockman Spade forks on which makes it really good for spins. It holds manuals well but still feels really good on the backwheel. I super impressed with the way its come out! Sorry for the terrible pictures, don't know anyone with a digital camera! 16. wont make it tomorrow chaps, sorry
  17. What gear ratio do people usually go for with Fourplays?
  18. Got my Slate2 and Switch frames yesterday, finishing building them tomorrow
  19. Sorry, yeah it is starting to get rather immature and a pain in the backside to everyone. Will accept mutual apoloies, sorry mate. I would like to see a lightweight folding kevlar beaded 19" rear tyre with a more open tread pattern than the creepy crawler.
  20. Looks pretty swish Ben, I like it!
  21. I certainly could. Its not like there isn't room for improvement.
  22. Could do, will see if Steve is interested
  23. yeah fair point, missed that first tima around for some reason. Just read it quickly cos i was at the end of my break at work. Some people dont spend every minute of their day on this forum. But thats what you can do with a steel steerer, should anyone else need to.
