  1. Sweeet! Nice bike! Copied my tyre choice
  2. That's a fair point, but then why aren't they focussing on 26" NOW? Its a large part of the market which they seem to have neglected. They came out with all of those Pro series frames, but the only 26" one was the limey3 which, lets face it, was a bit of a flop when it eventually came out.
  3. What camcorder do you use?
  4. Basically man made obtacles that aren't street. And yes you could, but it isnt really necessary as it doesnt automatically arrange them into aphabetical order
  5. It was a bit confuzzling, so I've changed it to quietness factor. Should be a little more user friendly now. Get adding locations
  6. Mods/Admins- Any chance of this being made a stiky? Thanks
  7. I see your point, but if you look at some of the descriptions they include a rating, so a total out of 40 needs a high score for hassle. Unless you like security
  8. This may or may not have been done before, but I couldn't find anything myself, so I created my own. Firstly I would like to thank Shaun H, Matt B and Tim Stedman for helping me in getting the ball rolling by adding the first locations, cheers guys! The point of the map is for everyone to add the riding spots that they know and ride at so that they're there for everyone else to enjoy as well. All you need to do is click on the link and click edit on the left hand side of the map. You will then be able to pinpoint the location, even down to the very line (!!). Whether you want to share it with everyone else or just show off about a line that you did. A few points for using the map: - Please read the Guidelines on the map before adding or ammending locations. These are available on the left or in the key that floats somewhere in the North Sea! - Please use the correct style and colour of marker as explained in the key to distinguish between natural, street etc. - Add a name and brief decription of the location. For the benefit of others you can give a detailed description with a rating in the format that is described in the Guidelines on the map - The more you add, the better the map will be for everyone At some point everyone has been to a new place knowing that there are things to ride, but don't know where they are or where to look. This map will allow everyone to go straight where they want to, even if it's their very first visit. With advancing mobile phone technology this could be a really useful tool when out on a ride! Another cool feature to add is a link to photos or video from the corresponding location. You could also write a brief description of the moves that have gone down and where the most insane lines from your favorite rider's videos were shot. Or maybe some history of an epic ride or funny story that took place. Hope you enjoy it and make good use of it. Get adding locations now! LINK - Trials Hot Spots - CLICK HERE EDIT: you do need to have a google account to add locations, but that takes less than 2 min to register - Create Account - CLICK HERE Thanks in advance, Andy
  9. Nice team, lots of top talent in there. I'm a bit disappointed that Steve-O didn't remain in the team though. He's got the skills and some popular videos on the web.

    Rockman Bikes News

Yes, all the frames are now welded in their own factory in Singapore. All frames come with a 6 month warrenty
  11. no new 26 = fail, sorry guys
  12. Obviously you'll think my opinion is biased, but everything Ben says is true! Even if he was a beast on the Limey as well!
  13. Nice pictures Sam! Looks like you've got a bit of an entourage! I'm a bit suprised to see you riding on creepy crawlers, thought you would still prefer the Try-alls or even tried Monty tyres
  14. They're not particularly strong, I can't remember ever hearing anything good about them. You'd probably be better off with an old levelboss!
  15. Pretty damn sure you are Dave, certainly above me anyway
  16. Rockmans are designed to be lighweight, there's no arguments there, so to fulfill this, material must be taken away from places. This is done in two ways, CNC machining and tube gauge. Rockman do save a lot of weight from clever CNC gussets and braces, but to get the extra bit of weight off the tubes must be made lighter. When it comes to what you refer to as 'strength', the rockman frame will probably be equally as stiff as the Gu, particularly the front end of the frame. However, lightweight alloys with thin wall thicknesses are greatly weakend by deformation. 6061 T6 or U6 alloy will be suseceptible to cracking if it is dented, and this is what most people refer to as 'strength'. People buy lighweight frames so that they can jump higher, 400g can make quite a difference, but then they complain that they are weak when they dent and brake. If you're going to buy any lightweight frame, then make sure you look after the downtube and chainstays as a heavy knock could lead to the end of it. Kieran, I look forward to seeing how long your Speedrace frame lasts if you ride it in the same way (only you will probably know this).
  17. You were on a mission to snap that frame because you thought it was too long for you!
  18. A positive and well worded reply Danny, thanks. I probably was a bit blunt with my first post, however, I would have preferred to see my criticism taken on board rather than the reply that I got. Again, please take this constructively, but if 'extremely big" sponsors are involved then I think it is paticularly important to get the poster looking professional. I really do appreciate all of the time that you have and will continue to sacrifice in putting together a great event, thank you.
  19. Fully agree, perhaps your diplomacy betters mine!
  20. Think I just threw up! If someone asked me to build that up I'd tell them to do it their self! Haha!
  21. Love it, so big, and so dark! Full committment to doing awesome stuff in the pitch black. Nice one! Also loving that bike, resurrection of the seat for the win!
  22. He took my name off it. It's pretty petty if you ask me, but then that doesn't really suprise me coming from him.
