  1. R.I.P Andy, such tragic news. Just reading through the blog it really hits home, it's well written but so sad to read, life is brutal.
  2. I know everyone has seen it, but this is an awesome pic of Ali C, it would be great to get it with no-one in the background, like really early on a summer morning and one from Shipley Glen courtesy of Mike Singleton
  3. Not a good idea to run the disk protector with titanium bolts though!
  4. Yeah, there were water baloons and oranges hurled at anyone caught walking down!
  5. I competed in the University Mtb champs this last weekend and this is the reaults of mixing a load of XC riders with a downhill course, much fun! I appear at 1.49 when my team mate decides to crash into me! http://player.vimeo.com/video/21034147
  6. rear disk = win, now for some killer manuals
  7. Awesome-ness, looks great from a non-rider point of view (I recon!). Phatmike is doing some crazy lines as always! Certainly took its tole on that 1.1!
  8. Just an afternoons riding, thrown together fairly quickly, thought I'd post it seen as I wont be on the Leeson much longer. Riding mainly of Me, unfortunately didnt manage to get much of Ben. Enjoy!

Farm yard trials again! Took a bit more time over the editing, fast flowing video, worth the watch!

    Andrew Walker - Winter Fresh

Here's my new vid, tried to keep it short and interesting. It can be hard to get the motivation to ride over winter, especially when you mostly ride alone; i was trying to capture that energetic mood that makes you want to jump on your bike. The song is "take your hand" by Usher, unfortunately it all had to be filmed with a still camera, but i did my best. Download it :)
  12. Just a pedal up (no tap) on the new frame
  13. A combination of rocks and street riding in and around Loughborough. Thanks to Steve-O for filming and PHATworks.
  14. First video riding the Rockman Slate frame Locations: Portsmouth, Loughborough, Bronte Gathering, Trial of Wessex Download for much better quality and corrected aspect ratio!
  15. I think these pics have just made trials more homsexual than UFC mit Bruno. I think i'm gonna take up ballet.
  16. All I can say is that it's the best video I've ever seen, and probably will be for sometime. The bar has been raised even further, I'm struggling to see how it could be beaten. It's really good to see that Dave was directing; theres equal talent in the directing as there is in the riding. The locations are awesome and it just shows how good shots can be with the right equipment! As for the riding, all I can call it is extreme biking, it can't be labelled as just trials, but it's certainly not bmx either. But it's f**king brilliant, absolutely emmense!
  17. They certainly are different, but they seem a bit over engineered. The tabs on the side seemingly have no use other than as a guide for the slave cylinder pad guides (which I have never managed to break off). Ashima disk brakes have had poor write ups all round, they like trying different things, and credit to them for trying, but their designs seem detrimental to performance more often than not. Somebody try them and see. Exactly, they've just gone and made their pad insert 50% wider, it might not be such an issue if they're injection moulded, but it still uses a greater amount of material and increases tooling costs.
  18. As Nick M said, I'm definitely up for going, but unless its in the Easter holidays I'm going to be pretty busy at uni as it's my final year. So either mid April (before that is gonna be cold) or end of June for me. Would love to come, this year did feel a bit empty without it. It would be awesome if we could all go in convoy together and go stright to Paris for a street ride, then head on down to Buthiers after that.
  19. Sounds good, farms rock!
  20. Tractor tyres are quite soft, so the best thing to do is fil them with hardcore, though they will become semi permanent. Otherwise the best thing is to get construction tyres instead as they are bloody solid. But they also weigh loads, you'll probably need a sizeable van! and some strong people/ a forklift!
  21. Yeah, I'm a farmer and they are a pain in the ass to get rid of, hope its not too far to roll it home, otherwise you may need a sizable pickup
