I'd take it as an oppurtunity to replace the heatsink and fan... If hard pushed I would run the old ones, but only for a short term solution. It wont catch fire or anything (!) as the Dual Cores don't run much hotter than the singles, but would you want to risk damaging it in the long term for the sake of a new fan and heatsink? J

108,000 miles.............. that's lots even for a 99 car. Above average anyway. I would also say that unless you like spending time at the side of the road giving your details, even when you've done nothing wrong, then don't get it as a first car. I may sound like another old man, but I had the same problems with my Astra GSI 2L with mods. Even driving well within the rules I was getting pulled once a week just to check insurance/licence etc. Gets on your tits enough to get rid of it after a while. Then you wait till you look old enough to have one. Sorted.

Because they earn so much from the ads on this site, that they have many properties and many ovens..... some of them break and when they have the super expensive repairmen round they ask what was wrong... or something. J

Hi Guys, The titles should have warned you this is slightly off the wall... but i was wondering whether anyone knows anything about ovens... I just noticed that the main oven of my 2 oven cooker isn't working... it's a fan oven and when you turn it on, the fan turns on and the light turns on but it doesn't get hot... anyone know what might be wrong? This will be a miracle to get answered in a trials forum! J

I can't really say much about this price range, but I must say that it's firewire for the win. If you're having latency problems already then you will love the speed of firewire. J

I know it sounds simple, but a lot of drivers that work fine in XP dont work in Vista. Make sure you re-download drivers that say they are Vista tested and compatible. Hope you sort it. J

I would personally say that you should go for the £300 option if you are just using it for a year... If anything, save the extra for the new Apple when it comes out, less to pay for that then... J

probably a very fair remark... to make something out of nothing is quite a feat though! haha. i heard some of the worst mixing in the world last night. you expect bad things at a liquid club, but STOPPING BETWEEN SONGS? f**king hell. as long as you dont do that, it wont be the worst mix i've heard..

the reason that it is ".5" is because it is just made of clips they didnt use for the 2nd one. So if you use the logic i used, i come to the conclusion that these clips must be less good than jackass 2 and jackass 2 < jackass 1 thus jackass 2.5 = oh yea, and I've watched it and my logic was proved correct. There are a couple of funny bits in there but it's nowhere near as good as something like dirty sanchez or the original jackass. J
