Hi People, Some of you may know that I have a band called Pocket Rocket. We have a gig in Camden tonight, at the Bull & Gate. And what with this whole bug thing going round at the moment, supporters are dropping like flies! So the basic point is, if you love listening to new live music and can get to London tonight, then we would really enjoy entertaining for you. We have support for 2 bands: Lilygun and Eights n Aces, who both sound great although I've never seen them live. just quickly, and i admit i didnt read the whole post because i just got in bed but..... there was a comment made by wayne as to the fact that MBUK appeals to millions of people. I'd just like to say that it has an ABC audited figure of around 40,000. even with the average readership figure being 2.1:1 ratio, this doesn't equate to millions. and I still reckon trials is less than 10% of that, otherwise it would obtain 10% of the editorial content, which it doesnt. in an 90-odd page magazine, we would see 9 pages of trials...... i think MBUK have got the balance just right personally as we ARE in the minority here as trials riders. sorry if any of that has been said. J

all people against the "inventivness" of chris = been riding < 3 years all people who think its cool that something seems as much of a breath of fresh air as this = been riding > 3 years i'm not saying i will go brakeless... i like having the safety there.. but christ people, have some funking respect for someone trying something different. this guy is better at your "real" trials than you will ever be, and thats without him doing what he does naturally. grow up. J

plus any connection charges......... i went with BT. it's not the cheapest, but you're paying their line rental anyway. in a flat you can't generally get sky anyway and BT is _always on_ unlike virgin media. no technical faults i mean. pay the extra and get the reliability. J

i put down echo control because it was the closest to the ES4 i have. J

please do yourself a favour and dont buy that one unless you literally just want sound to come out of the speakers. the quality is incredibly poor, the latency is insane and it has issues with connecting to pretty much any computer i tried it on. it is now used as a paper weight, but i'm sure i could have bought a cheaper paper weight. J

i've noticed a lot of them dont really advertise the fact they are cyclelifes... they go by other names? J

there are another 3 songs recorded, but my bassist has veto'd them because he doesnt like his backing vocals! pansy. they dont sound that bad considering its live and we did all 5 songs in one take cheers for the comments. J

cheers for the comment i've been having hella trouble getting my vocals sounding natural because i've had a nice chest infection and this is my first lead vocal position. it'll come i'm sure! we impressed management enough to sort us out some gigs so they should start trickling through Cheers again.
