hurry up with those pics Mark!
  3. looks like all you need to do is practice it more, you are pretty much landing it. I have been trying it for ages and not even close yet.
  4. I am SO wanting to go there in the winter!
  5. the vid is not really my thing, but it's hard not to be impressed with how big you go.
  6. looks cool stripped, but would look better without brakes
  7. Mark has a Hope 70mmX25 and that feels amazing! Otherwise something around 85mmX20 or similar would be good.
  8. rockshox pikes are pretty dam good! I picked up a secondhand set on ebay for 180 quid (from 2006) and they have been flawless
  9. I met a girl the other day, she asked me for my passport, stamped it and let me into the country.
  10. a brake booster won't really help your arms, but it will stop the frame from flexing increasing the holding power of the brake. I have been using a Trialtech 2 bolt booster with great results. If you havn't done already, bleeding the brake with water will help your arms.
  11. no, the brake will make a noise unless you use crap pads that decrease power. You could get a disc brake though, nice and quiet
  12. Are you saying I am a basher? I would take tubes, but I HATE taking bags out on rides (except if it's your mum lolol)
  13. you are my toolbox mark....(take that any way you want )
  14. brakeless is taking over the world mmmuahahahahaha
  15. search for any iolo vids, he had some crazy intro ideas that didn't involve computers (think making toast to say the brand name on and stuff)
  16. what freewheel is it? Some have more ressistance than others
  17. I normally take: Bike Helmet Gloves Wallet
  18. pretty sure they are annodised, so you'll need caustic soda to strip it. to be fair though, seeing as the frame is already down to the aluminium, you could just spray it as-is
  19. magura pros: Light good selection of pads good bite good to modify (eg, grind rims, longer lever blade etc) no spoke flex Magura cons: loud as f**k, can't slow the bike down without making a racket not very good modulation (no stoppies then) buckled wheel stops play need to deflate tyre to remove wheel not as good in the wet forks arn't as strong more maintenance (grind rims, replacing pads etc) Disk pros: good modulation good bite quiet good in the wet forks are stronger can take wheel out with the tyre inflated buckled wheels don't matter (as long as it goes through the forks) maintenace is minimal Disk cons: heavier can catch the rotor and bend it spoke flex not as instant bite as a magura My choice would be disk, I just hate loud brakes
  20. holy high bb! Bike looks sweet though
  21. Turps? I can't imagine that working.
