Didn't work before this, but i installed the all in one codec pack and tried installing it a few times using different options it gives you during the install. Last one i tried was the one that got it to work, so just run this a few times and choose different options. http://www.free-codecs.com/Codec_Pack_All_in_1_download.htm As for the video... Pretty f**king good mate. I'm usually one for adding some (usually) constructive criticism to my posts about vids but i can't fault that at all. Any little niggles i had were blown out the window with the manual... on a rail... using your front wheel! I thought it was a general rule that mods/admin and 60% of the SM'ers don't ride.

If i was going to be brave, i'd say get the 400d BODY ONLY, then pick up a good quality walkabout lens as well. From what i hear theres a tamron lens in the region of 17-55 or 17-85 thats really good and cheap enough to be within your budget. The other option is to get the canon 50mm f1.8 mk2 for around £60, although this doesn't have zoom its better in low light and is really sharp.

Pretty much. If you swing the grinder along in large sections (4-8 inches or so) at a time, while pressing firmly on the grinder with the disc at an angle of between 45 and 90 degrees to the rim, you'll get a harsh grind with deep, widely spaced grooves. If you do smaller sections in each sweep (1-4 inches) while lightly skimming the grinder across the surface with the disc at an angle shallower than 45 degrees you'll get shallower grooves that are very close together.

We were stripping flipps frame the night before and we ran out of nitromors so the frame wasn't finished until the afternoon on the saturday after we'd been to wilkinsons and lacquered it all up again.

Because I still don't think this video is actually that good. The ambient noise (pond water and loudmouth birds) and my seemingly quiet voice combined with the videos length seem to make it difficult to get across what i was trying to say. I've been meaning to make a grinding video mk2 for a while now, along with other videos (bleeding brakes etc) i just havn't had the time They can do yeah, but you just brush/blow them out of the tyre before putting it all back on and re-inflating.

Not too great of an idea, theres going to be no lube in there at all now so the things running dry which means it'll wear out quicker. -

Ha ha, i don't mean to be offensive but that just made me laugh so much i spat cola all over my keyboard. -
Seems to work for me, just used this topic as the topic address and left you some feedback. Shows up in the general list alright. Shows up in the negative list alright. All the buttons seem to work too. Job done

Not sure what's happening still. Flipp was gonna drive, but he's gotta be back for 4.00. We also have only just finished half stripping his frame and are going to bed (not together you dirty bastards), shall update in't morning to inform of whether we're going or not.

If your heavy though the edges of the pads sometimes lift up and it causes the corners to wear faster. Ideally just a drop of superglue at each end of the cnc backings is perfect, easy to remove and they don't come out of their own accord.

What not to do: Don't email him to say he's a thieving little ****, don't email him telling him its yours, don't tell him you think its stolen. What to do: Find the real owner, i'm sure someone on here must know him, if he's ordered stuff from heatsink or bought it second hand chances are he'll know about this forum. Tell the owner to contact the police about it showing pictures of his bike and if possible, him with the bike. The police will probably sort it out through ebay trying not to alert the seller as to what they're doing. If you wanna be a hardcore ass kicking arnie wannabe, win the auction, collect it in person and proceed to batter the seller instead of paying them and just take the bike. Please note thats probably the best sounding option revenge wise, but possibly the stupidist one also.

I completely agree that some officers need to change their attitudes towards people. Last year a police officer pulled his car up at the side of the road in front of me as i was riding along the pavement and got out the car shouting at me to stop, which i did. He told me that i shouldn't be riding on the pavement as i could injure a pedestrian (fair enough, it was nearly half one in the morning in between two villages ) and that he'd be issuing me with a fine. I tried to explain that the path was in fact part of a dedicated cycle path but he refused to listen and wanted to issue the fine anyway. After trying to explain my case a bit more he told me if i didn't cooperate he'd arrest me. Being on a jump bike i took the opportunity to ride off as fast as i could as soon as he went to walk towards his car to answer the radio on his shoulder. Through the nearby school field and out of one of the back entrances and i was home free. Just made sure not to ride that bike again for a couple of weeks. While i wouldn't suggest anyone else doing this, i felt i had no other choice. I'm not paying because someones had a bad day and can't admit he's wrong.

Ha ha, yeah that was back in the day though. You were the first person to run them after myself, i kinda used you as a guinea pig for trying them on a harsh grind :$ i reckon you should smoothen your rim off and use the reds though With a brake that stiff they'll be mint.

I reckon spending a week at a strip joint will leave you too knackered to do the rest of your list, let alone spending another week there I'd like to go trekking across some mountains, seeing the sun and the snow and the clouds together. I'd like to survive an animal attack so i've got a shocking story for people to remember me by, not a wimpy animal like a hamster but something meaty, like a croc or shark. I'd like to go and do a parachute jump, i'd imagine that to be pretty good fun, exciting and calm at the same time Travel to some ancient ruins in some crazy rainforest There's loads more but i shan't waffle on.

Oh yes they do. I've been told to take pictures of people tucking so it can go in the thread, when i've been out with them.

Fair enough, its all in the past was just curious if it was a mistake or intended. Kinda wish i'd been at that notts ride now though, can't think what else i was doing instead, but would have loved to see the riding first hand.

I'm not trying to say i know it all, i'm not trying to come across that way and i'm not trying to have an argument. I was just trying to discuss it, i didn't take the piss out of you (so i'd appreciate the same), yet its the only way you seem able to respond. The fact i'm a student has nothing to do with it, you can stereotype all you want, it doesn't mean its accurate. I'm only 3 years younger than you are and in my first year at uni, so i'm not the stereotypical fresh out of college uni student at all.
