I take it i'm the only one who has a beer or some vodka before i go out?

There was a picture a while back that had 2 pairs of zoo bars right next to each other and they weren't the same at all. I don't know how re-assuring it is that the person who designed them can't even see a difference in them.

Very nice indeed, i really like the lack of brightly coloured parts, just the same as mine... except i have a blue skewer because red ones suck

Theres no way in hell i'd pay £120 for a second hand booster, lever, wheel and mounts. I'd be reluctant to pay half of that. If you even think about it, your a fool.

Right forwards on a bike, left forwards on a skateboard (though i can ride in any position thats the one i'll use), sidehop right, spin left.

I'd get a new tyre for my own bike and like said above, build a massive indoor building, with heating, good music and loads to ride on. Seeing as i'd have lots of money it'd be free entry for whoever wants to ride there, and thered be a food/drink bar too, with everything half the usual price On second thoughts i might get some new disc brake pads and a new rotor.

Woah, 5 past 4... not really that late Time for me to stick a film on Mega bumpage just for that spammy post though, seems a bit wasted.

No, we're talking about the tv-series called dexter. Its about a serial killer/cop type thing and its not a cartoon for kids.

Is there any point me trying for size 15's? -
It'll be for something worthy too, like littering as an old receipt or something falls out your pocket

I thought it was alright, i didn't mind watching it.though my dad thought it was utter crap.

Hmm, i don't know whether that counts though. I agree completely that its an attempt to rectify injustice, but i personally think it sways more on the side of revenge, where as i imagine a vigilante as being more impartial with personal feelings towards the perpetrator. Its also only one act, which again moves it closer to being revenge more than a vigilante belief. No, i remember seeing the adverts for it, just never watched it. Any good?

So you'd be able to live with the thought of having killed another human being so long as its "for the greater good"?

Was sat here watching the news earlier and saw loads of mentions of serial killers and rapes etc, then one of a vigilante killing a proven rapist who was released early from jail and began re-offending. Just began wondering really about the mindset behind both characters and the differences that set them aside. As far as i can tell a vigilante is someone who is willing to kill someone else in order to deliver them to justice. A vigilante has the perk of being portrayed as the hero, but all the risks of being caught by the police. The serial killer kills because they enjoy it, they are usually in a mindset that isn't concerned about being caught because that's where their fame is produced, in people knowing its them. So a more realistic scenario that basically stems down to superhero or supervillian... which would you be and why?

I completely left my phone downstairs, forgot you said you'd call. You got it far enough out the way yet or do you still need a hand? Looks better than i thought it would though. Just needs some neons and it'll be alright.

I don't suppose you've got any pics from the front or back have you? Sideways pics are average, but front and back ones are like dirty bike porn... they always look sleek from those angles. Like the frame detailing though, looks pretty different... and different is always good.

Who Are You Sponsored By? How Did You Get Sponsored
Krisboats replied to MikeyTrials's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
We've had danny testing and using our pads, giving us feedback on how they perform. And when the time comes for searching for more compounds to offer to people he'll be helping to test those as well and give us feedback on their performance. He's been very helpful with testing the new reds for example, without either me or boumsong having a smooth rim we've relied on other riders feedback on the pads performance. Danny also attends a lot of rides so people get to see the pads working, which HAS given us sales so far, we've had several comments from people saying things like "dannys brake in birmingham was amazing!". As i'm sure your aware we're literally just starting out, and as such we've left out/not realised certain things and t-shirts/stickers was one of them. When we get the t-shirts done, the riders WILL be wearing them, and they'll also be making decisions to the look and feel of the shirts so we can make sure it something they'd want to wear. Stickers will have to do until the shirts are done. When we get the demo rig built for the whymeswold event we'll be asking the riders nicely to come and ride the event. Videos are currently in the pipeline from several riders and i know that now the good weather is coming there'll be even more videos being released. We also said that we didn't expect riders to be jaw droppingly good from the outset, theres also a certain satisfaction of helping riders progress with their riding and knowing you played a part in that, if we have top end riders from the very beginning we don't get that warm fuzzy feeling inside :$ Its a very funny term sponsorship, i'd much rather think of it as having some riders helping us out. And in response we help them out by giving them stuff. People all have different ideas of what sponsorship means some people expect more than others with them wanting free frames and stuff, other people are over the moon witha discount on products, and some people expect travel expenses paid for and things like that. I think if the riders are happy, and the sponsors are happy then thats fair enough. If you have the benefit of sponsoring friends rather than random people then i personally think thats better, you know the riders better and its not a brand new relationship that needs building, just a bit of tweaking. Sorry to have waffled on :$ -
Its good to use for beginners, but its at the stage after movie maker and before premiere. For a comparison Ulead is now at the same stage pinnacle studio was 2-3 years ago, just a bit less buggy. Premiere pro or sony vegas are still the ones to go for if your wanting a proffessional package.

Ah ha ha, noob I thought you had actual speakers?
-
As i said earlier, you'd need to know the exact mixture in order to get them right, though i wouldn't be suprised if they came out at 75a. Our reds are more rubbery, where as the only way i can describe the zoos texture in comparison is they're more kitchen sponge-like.

Yeah, the only stuff i've seen is the images i posted, and that was practically invisible after a year. If you try very hard and hold the arm at a certain angle with your eye right next to it you can sort of see faint lines. And although its dulled down slightly under UV light, it still glows brightly after 3 years.

Don\'t they fade after a while and become closer to a silvery colour? I thought they only stayed pink for a year or so. Like so: Top tat 10 months old... bottom two 3 months old. Always loved this idea...
-
Yeah, thats why it'd get annoying. I wasn't making a common joke, i was pointing it out...... ....Honest :$

It'd be annoying if you were a jedi... everybody saying may the 4th be with you.
