ATI cards: x1650... £40-45 x1800 £45-50 x1950pro £50-60 HD3650 £50-60 Nvidia: 6600 £35-40 6800gs £40 7600 gs £45'ish 6800 Ultra £45-50 7600gt £50'ish 8600gt £45-55 7800gs £55-60 7800gt £60-70 They're based roughly in perfocmance order in their own brands, and the prices are roughly what you'd be expecting to pay for them brand new in a shop (second hand should be £10-15 cheaper). You'll also find they're made by different manufacturers who offer slightly different things. Essentially though, they're all the same so a 7600gt from someone like XFX will be almost exactly the same as a 7600gt from BFG. Don't go for packages where theres a free game, you usually get a slower card, a decent card won't need to bribe you. Always try and go for as much ram as you can, 256mb should be absolutely fine, but 512mb is a bonus if you can find it.

Its worth the wait, to get a much better card for less money. You can always go into pc world and look at the cards, but you'll want a decent version if its an nividia one you'll be wanting the *600 series of cards or higher, so 6600, 6800, 7600, 7800, 8600 etc.... not 7100, 7300 or anything like that as they're utterly useless. If its ati then go for one of the x**** series cards so long as the number is higher than x1650, so an x1800, x1950 etc would be fine. Cards like x1300 again aren't going to bemuch use for anything other than web based java games. I wouldn't limit yourself to an x800 card, it only has shader model 2.0, so although other cards might play future games slightly slower, the x800 won't play them at all as its outdated to hell.

Alas, due to unforseenenst circumstancio's i shan't be travelling next morn, a hearty apology from me. -
Nope, your wasting money if your buying a graphics card from pc world. The two i showed you aren't beaten performance wise unless your willing to spend over £60 at pc world, even then the pc world card only beats the cheaper x1650 and still doesn't beat the 8600gt. Helpful chart to give you a fairly imformed decision, Just choose the two cards you want to compare and it'll highlight them on the list.... http://www23.tomshardware.com/graphics_200...5&chart=285

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct....=56&subcat= This one is slightly better than the other one i posted, newer tech in the card and preforms better than the other, but still relatively cheap. Nope, won't run it.
-
Right, it says anything over a 6600 or x1300 to run it on minimum settings. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct....=56&subcat= One of those would do the job for you, and in graphics card prices its not toooooo expensive. Just over the price of a new game.
-
Your graphics card isn't adequate for playing it. Even if you get it to run, it'll be mega slow on minimum settings. Your chipset is an internal solution designed for use with the intel dual core chipsets, its designed for basic computer functionality and frankly i'd be suprised if it can even run older computer games, let alone cutting edge ones. No patch or mod will fix it. Your computer doesn't meet the minimum requirements for the game, which you should have checked before you bought it. Its a hardware problem, not a software one. A new graphics card IS required.

What graphis card is it?

Dunno whats happening for me. Left my phone at jays house and don't know how to get hold of jordan. Will have to update later once i've got in touvh with him. But just for good measure... AAArrrghhh me hearties, a poole'by'liver trip would be amazing yes, but rargh, might not be able to go me old show -
Thats what i was afraid of. If it comes to having to bodge it and hack bits off my hanger just to run it properly then i'll stick with my homemade tensioner, its completely out the way, can be bashed without needing re-adjusting and cost a pound to make. The tensile one looks shinier though .
-
Is it possible to fit the bolted section so it runs closer to the chainstay? As, if anything, that tensioners increased the length of the mech hanger with it pointing straight down, making it even more susceptible to getting hit. If there are other versions that keep the tensioner out the way i might look into picking one up.

But they'd do it smoother, with pre-loading the pedals as well to get the engagements first. Not so with boumsong. I think you'll find the top ten riders who use freewheels on the front generally do it for comps anyway, rather than for everyday street riding. The lightweight aspect is very appealing to a comp rider, where as the majority of stock riders who only ride street use a freehub. If he already has a king, theres no point going for a front freehweel.
-
Its not really for bashing everyday on the streets though is it. How many comps has boumsong done? Plus he stamps his pedals like no tomorrow, if he had a freewheel setup i can see him breaking it faster than your try-alls go.
-
Nice attitude there I don't get it, he's said in the title that its just clips from when he's first tested the pads, he said its nothing major, and that he's been ill in and around when the filming was done. Yet everyone slated him as if he'd suggested something different and they expected something more from it. Nice.
-
How long do you decide is longer than it should have been? Steves a busy guy and as far as i'm aware still does the heatsink stuff in the time outside of his normal job and caring for his family. Things i've ordered from steve have always arrived within a few days (2-5) which is perfectly acceptable, especially when you take into account he doesn't add a few quid more on for postage like a few other shops.
-
It wasn't really a small wall, and its showing the pads not slipping out straight away, which is what people said they wanted to see after the first set of mess about clips was released. I asked him to put something in where he didn't make it but the pads are working so he has. And that was the only clip of him failing a move, except from a sidehop in notts which was still massive.
-
It would be very nice to be able to slot your stem in and it just points forwards, i can never seem to get mine straight and it always annoys me.
-
Very nice mate, i'm glad your feeling better now. You were right, i did like the music, pretty unusual, nice one. Good to see the pads in action again too. As much as we'd love to see another video, we don't want to make you ill again so don't overdo yourself tomorrow. Your health is far more important.

Thar she blows! The city of poole'by'liver... we shall be anchoring an boarding pretty soon... yarrrpp! -
Ha ha, i see you were paying attention when you looked at the site. But yeah, at the minute we're only doing reds for smooth and yellows for light grinds. Without meaning to blow our own trumpet, the reds are pretty damn good though.
-
That's only a small part, the majority is being done by your arms/bars. Think of when your static upping something, your pushing the bike in front of you and you feet are angled in the opposite way to how you describe.... yet the bike still goes upwards. Its entirely possible to sidehop without angling your feet, which implies that you don't really use your feet at all to angle the pedals and suck the bike up.

OOOh Arrrr, its a pirates life for me! -
Export it in DV quality as an AVI and then encode it with something else instead.
-
Ha ha, pretty much sums it up. Although i'd have to disagree slightly with there being no style in trials at all. I reckon theres the potential to have as much personal style in moves as bmxing, its just the moves themselves are less varied and pretty similar to each other. Still doesn't stop completely new styles popping out like leech's manifesto or TRA's general bounciness.

The only thing similar is that they're designed for magura/dengura rim brakes. The compound is entirely different to the magura koolstops.
