1. a bit weighty though. makes you learn to shift the hefty back wheel up things though and when you go on a lighter bike it seems to fly!
2. i've been riding with a comp 24 for ages now. i had a 2.2 from crc and it lasted about 4 months, it still has a bit of tread left on it. however at the bike show the 2.5's were on sale for £20 so i got a new one. i've not had a puncture since i first put my 2.2 on. they're truly quality tyres. enjoy!
3. I had to send my frame back to bikedock when i first got it because the thread was a we bit out and i couldn't fit a bottom bracket into it. lbs couldn't re thread it either. i had to pay for the postage there and they charged me for the postage back as well. mines still going strong though. i'm pleased they're nice about replacing them. if mine fails it'll go back..... :( by the way how old is yours? sorry ur frameless at the minute.
4. Well i would glue the pad back on but the rubber bit came off whilst i was riding and we couldn't find it anywhwere. I've been back to have a look but i still can't see it. The only bit he can test is the plastic backing and thats completely normal. there is no pad left on the thing look. It's dirty because i wrapped it in my cleaning rag so i didn't lose it on the way home.
5. Do i have to send mine off as well or will the photo's do because i don't see why i should have the hassle of sending them off and paying postal charges for you to say... hmmm...... the pad definately has come off the backing. sorry if that's a bit harsh but i payed for a brake pad and it's broken because it peeled off. In an hour. There really isn't anything else the photo doesn't show. And there's still no reply to the e-mail i sent you this morning. (Could be down to ISP's though)
6. there's also less chance of you getting your foot caught on a wall. having said that i can't do it to save my life and i really want to hop to the opposite side, then i would be hopping left. would there not be a way of filing down the hanger and having a tesionioner custom made to fit on the bottom chainstay? maybe near the chainring. that way it wouldn't really be bashable and would still do the same job. i'll do a sketch of what i mean and post it later.
7. got your e-mail and i've sent another one off with a picture of my pad and a picture of my receipt from the bike show, that receipt was just ready to go through the wash in my trouser pocket. :"> :P I would still run the pads but i'm a very trusting person. and they did work well for a few minutes.
8. Haha I beat you with the whole ripping it off the backing. Bought mine at the bike show on friday, put them on on saturday morning. Went for a ride and my pad was off and lost somewhere in a pile of leaves within about an hour. I would have tried glueing it back together if i'd found the other half. I e-mailed them at the address on the rim jam site but no response yet. only mailed them earlier today though. i think mine must have torn off partially when i slipped back from trying a back wheel as well. i thought the pads had just stuck to the rim because the wheel locked up but when i pushed forwards it unstuck itself (very poor explanation). kinda the same as when using excessive amounts of tar. Next time i went to back wheel there was no pad and i only had my balance keeping me on my back wheel. Scared me shitless i tell you. It's a good job i can't backwheel any higher than my wheel or it could have been nasty. I'm running the other rim jam pad on one side and a black pad with tar on the other side and it's doin the job at the minute i just hate tar.
9. White spirits leaves oily crap on your rim when it dries. an added feature of one of the bonus chemicals they use in it.
10. Beautiful alienware... though the icons got a bit annoying so windows icons came back.
11. cheers. I'll lok into a new graphics card when i get payed next week. Actually i'll probably get bday money so i could get one earlier. cheers for the help.
12. I'm looking at getting a new pc as well... and as i've never played games on it before because my computers have never been good enough i would like to start by playing something truly amazing like half life 2, far cry, doom 3 etc. I'm looking at getting This PC and was wondering if it would be good enough to do this. I'm gonna get a 17" tft screen with it and a windows xp home operating system. The shop is a local one so i can just go and pick it up because i hate couriers so don't suggest internet shops or anything. Oh yeah and my price range is no more than this either so i can't have anything truly incredible.
13. copy this coding onto ur site and scale the picture down and you'll have our little logo on there. ---------- oh yeah cheers mate. link coming ur way too. (from me of course)
14. I've got a bmf in my base and i'm running a standard maggie with standard black pads. literally took it out the box and fitted it. theres loads of room too. I had to move the cylinders a lot further in towards the rim than i thought. I've got about each cylinder moved in about 6-7mm. I've got a 2.5 michelin comp 24 as well. fit's with loads of room to spare.
15. try ebay mate. i got some silver kore bars for my jump bike for £3.50 with £2.50 p&p. but they were too short so i just won some bigger and higher 24seven bars for £7.50. not got them yet but they were only posted yesterday. it's worth a try
16. odi longneck bmx grips. £7 just cut the flanges off and there the longest lasting grips in the world. i know someone who has had the same pair for 2 years and he rides all the time! plus super comfy what else do you gonna get for £7?
17. get this move done and then try improving it.... add an x-up after you jump back on the pedals.... then once you can do that try 1 hander x-ups.... I seen somebody do that just after i started trials and i was truly amazed. :-" I'm with the majority here.. i use my front foot forwards and just make sure that the pedal is slightly higher than it shud be so you can just whip your foot back and ur crank flies round...ACE!!! :D p.s. try to keep the bike leaned a little bit in the same direction as the foot you use to stand on your tyre so you stay in the same place. with a bit of practice you should be able to balance for a minute and then just stand there spining your crank round. :P

hiya all. I got the new vid on the net and tried all the suggestions from last time so let me know what u think to this one... (Y) Thrashed 2 cheers
21. Cheers for the hanger info... i might have to order a pair... (Y) As for the brake... could it be my rim? it's a bmf. I can't really think why it's only mine thats dodgy. (Y)
22. Seems like i'm the only one whose had booster issues. (Y) surely they couldn't have made my seatube got dodgy or the brake blugs in the wrong place.. :)
23. oh rite my bad.... :"> I shudda thought plastic forks was a stupid idea before i said it really.
24. Same... It sucks. plus having a battered freehub is annoying a lot of the time.
