  1. We've covered the reasons during the thread. Its obvious how it happened. Its becuase of the girl trousers!
  2. I hibernate all year round!
  3. Its true, my day happens around t-f. I went to sleep at my parents house at 4.00am because i was on the forum. I got home to loughborough at 9.00am and walk through the door with mcdonalds breakfast to eat while browsing t-f (why waste valuable t-f time making cereal?) and i'll be on t-f while browsing other internet deals for the next 2 hours before work... at which time i'll be trying to plug my laptop in and get on t-f at work either with the laptop or my phone. Then i get to come home and go on t-f properly. T-f even has its own screen on my pc
  4. You don't sweat in winter! I don't have any friends so its a non-issue for me.
  5. I love how everyones making massive reasons for the skinny jeans. Howcome everyones overlooked the airflow problem? Baggy trousers and shorts offer far more ventilation compared to skinny girl jeans and lycra. Going out riding is not an effortless excercise for anyone and in doing so, you sweat. Now lycra users get over this by not wearing underwear and because the properties of the lycra material itself allow the user to just whick the sweat away. With bagy jeans this is much less of an issue, there's greater airlfow, the material isn't close to the skin so takes longer and more frequent contact in order to absorb moisture. Skinny jeans just lead to huge sweat marks (seen it on many rides) and damp clothes, with skinnies being predominantly a fashion statement it kind of defeats the point in trying to look good if it leaves you with sweat marks . Is not wearing underwear the next step for skinny jean riders? Theres also the issue of bacteria. If your riding and sweating in your skinny jeans they get warm and damp, which is a holiday resort for bacteria, how many of you wash your jeans before and after every ride? Bacteria leads to disease and infection which is not nice. What about underwear? Everyone knows real men wear boxer shorts, so what if you wear skinnies? From my own experience boxer shorts move around and wriggle when wearing skinnes for riding, giving me a nice fat wedgie, which is definately not cool. So do you guys overcome it by wearing pants? Lastly is the smell. For the aforementioned reasons, they all contribute to the odours that your balls now have. Not nice when your meeting up with lady friends after riding, and if you don't wash your jeans, even days after riding
  6. I was really impressed with the capability of the voice recognition system. Its pretty damn accurate aside from not being able to understand when i say "twelve". I've only tried the 360's marketplace demo but i had quite a good go at it. The only thing i felt was a bit lacking was in the unit combat. However this could just be a demo limitation with them only having 2-3 enemy troops. Nice visuals though.
  7. Dismally fail it anyway and work out the excuses afterwords. Always worked for me Glad your okay though
  8. Ah, you missed that one. The implication was it is SO rare that only i know about it. Forgot humour and sarcasm don't work on the internetz.
  9. I remember these, felt lovely. Glad to see your still around as well mate, not seen you for ages
  10. These were the lot. The unnamed colour match one is pearlescent black and the super gloss one next to it is black gloss.
  11. From my old one... To the new one... Then after a bit of spray paint, pringles and sainsbury's basic vodka... Core 2 duo e2180, now at 3.4ghz (case is cooler ) 512mb HIS IceQ 4 4850 730mhz/1100mhz 6GB of RAM at 825mhz X-Fi Gamer 500gb Seagate 7200.10 (need another as this is full) 160gb crappy ide thing to be replaced soon some lights and the worlds best fans I basically bought a cheap old version of a case i like (akasa eclipse) and sprayed it black, effectively saving myself around £60. Theres enough room in there now for me to have more options when going to water cooling in the next few weeks.
  12. Just finished my new computer case/build and am re-arranging everything around the desk to accommodate the larger case. Looks sweet though.
  13. I didn't make it up its just SUPER rare
  14. Auto-Mod For Sale/Wanted topics are no longer allowed in New Members Chat. If you wish to post a For Sale/Wanted topic on Trials-Forum you need to read and follow this - http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....ounce&f=13&id=3 Topic Closed.
  15. Lying down and pressing with your hands on your lower abdomen (just above pubic region not stomach) will be fine. I know he should go and see a doctor, that's why i wrote that just after. Just the rebound test is a good way to find out if you have, in that if it hurts you have got it for definite, where as if it doesn't it could still be it but could be something like colonic appendicitis (appendix moved around near colon ).
  16. Yes they do, its currently at 3/1 that it will happen*. *Odds dependant solely on the responsibility and ability of the aforementioned "pre-member" and the "PM's" ability to realise just how little is needed to become validated.
  17. If you press down slowly but firmly with your hand on your lower abdomen and release it quickly and it becomes more painful after releasing you have whats known as rebound tenderness, which is a very strong indicator of appendicitis. Give it a try, lower abdomen above your hip bones, if it hurts more after pulling your hand away get to A&E as quickly as possible as you have mere minutes to live* if it doesn't hurt more it could be anything (unfortunately could still be appendicitis) so get to your GP, W.I.C. or A&E. They'll give you some antibiotics and if your lucky your body might fight the appendicitis on its own, if not though you'll have to have it removed and gain a new scar *minutes is a huge exaggeration , you'll be fine for a while but it is serious so get to A&E ASAP.
  18. You spent a few days putting up a fair whack of posts in july which were intermittent with regards to grammar. You didn't show up again until september at which there was no use of grammar and you still haven't used grammar until 2 posts before this one. It looked like really tried, oh so hard I've not been a mod for long but the validation process works best if you post regularly (i check the list every few days and its based on most recent post first) and use good grammar along with being helpful and friendly. You shot yourself in the foot by not doing the first two at all. With the amount of rubbish posted in new members a well constructed post using capital letters at the start of sentences sticks out like a sore thumb if i see you and your past few days of posts are of the same quality you get validated. Couple more posts like that and you'll be in by the end of the week, i bet
  19. Its not a case of missing a capital letter here and there. Look at your first post in this topic for example. No beginning capital letter, no sentence structure... just one long ramble. It just shows laziness and a lack of consideration. If you look in full members there's a lot of punctuation and grammar used.
  20. Racism is actively against the rules though, where as child jokes aren't. I'm not saying they're acceptable... but bad taste jokes and racist ones are two very different kettles of fish. If your going to post baby death jokes though please either put them in spoiler tags or make a very bold sentence at the beginning of the post to let people know they are of a sick and twisted nature. This is a family forum after all.
  21. Hi, welcome to the forum. Have a look at the stickies in this section of the forum to, specifically this one.
  22. Yeah, thats pretty much it. We don't like dyslexics As gogz has pointed out, dyslexia isn't really too big a problem now, especially as your using a computer to write the post... a spell checker isn't hard to use. Basically wjhen i'm looking at validating someone i look at all their posts, look for capital letters, see how long they've been using capital letters (2 days or so and i usually wait a bit longer) then look at the quality of their posts. Reading the stickies at the top of the page would have told you something pretty similar though. In a thread about spelling your accuracy is currently 50%
  23. A half past 8 lecture? HOW DARE THEY!
  24. Flipp has that, the little buttons light up when you tap them. I had no idea how to use it but i had great fun watching the squares light up when i touched them. He might be able to give you a better review of it than i can... but it looked sturdy enough.
