Sounds like quite a good idea, i'd be up for it. Would you like us to make a small video documentary-style from point of opening, through the riding until point of dismantling and sending off? It might already have been mentioned but what frame is it exactly? If its something close to my current one i'd probably give it a miss, but changing frames and being forced to ride differently because of it would be a pretty nice personal challenge. Its always nice to mix things up a bit every now and again.

Dunno if this is an isolated case or a general issue regarding the server change but can't see attached photo's clicking on it returns an error. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....t&p=1746861

Agreed, a bunch of useless facts some of which weren't even correct. "e-paper will be cheaper than real paper"... What the hell does that even mean? E-paper is a non-physical entity, of course its going to be cheaper it isn't a real thing. Its created via technological means and as such you've paid for the machine not the "e-paper". Its free... OF COURSE SOMETHING FREE WILL BE CHEAPER! I think i'm just annoyed that i wasted 6 minutes of my life looking at a slide show of what could be considered merely speculation at best. I feel hard done to because it could have summed it all up in this short phrase "the technological world is evolving at a geometric rate". Well really, no shit sherlock

Then you fail. Guess what a search for polyurethane pulled up http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....%2Bpolyurethane

In theory maybe, but in the real world it works better having a point with metal in places rather than a dull disc with no metal. Seeing as most people use the grinder for doing their rims anyway it'll already have metal on it.

Is it not an idea to get the downtube sticker/vinyl the same colour as the paint job? I mean fair enough change the paint colour, it looks alright... but leave the sticker as it was? Matching paint job... Ooops...

I'm pretty sure he meant your employer can't sack you for being in a particular union.

Just had a shower and some food and sat down at the computer, my heart is going at 52 beats per minute. I thought it was the recovery speed of your heart rate that was important?

Still need the disc though for obvious reasons, which sucks major balls. I like my xbox 1 having all the games installed on it, no messing around with discs. They could so easily do it with product keys that get assigned to you live account so you don't need the discs.

Possibly. Although if he doesn't have SATA he'll be running 2 IDE sockets on the motherboard, in which case (if it was me) i'd be looking at getting one of these and still fitting a SATA drive over an IDE one. Obviously checking for existing SATA ports would be quicker and a bit easier. Have a look for soemthing shaped like these blue sockets on your motherboard or these orange/red ones. They're both the same socket type, just the top one has more of a surrounding.

Sata ports have been on motherboards for the past 4-5 years. I've got an IDE drive, doesn't mean i don't have sata ports.

Tis true, i paid attention in science and being 21 it was only 5 years ago. I used to know the entire periodic table of elements up until recently. edit: Actually the bit about the different series of alloys was picked up off this forum not long ago.

Shouldn't that be the other way round? Attractive colleague comes in and self control goes out. Unless that was a euphemism for a bloke literally coming in your door

Actually, as far as i recall most base metals are elements. Unlike molecules, elements are made of a single atomic component and when divided into smaller and smaller pieces result in the single atom itself. If you were to do the same to a vegetable for example you would ultimately be left with the vegetables molecules. To say all metals are or aren't of a molecular nature is also incorrect as i'm sure alloys fall into the category of a molecular structure in that they are a combination of elements, for example the 6000 series aluminium is a combination of aluminium, magnesium and silicon and the 7000 series comprising of aluminium and zinc. I guess it depends on what your defining as a metal, the finished piece of CNC'd material in your hand or the metal elements that its comprised of? I guess the most correct definition would be that a metal is an element and alloys are molecular. There are exceptions and inconsistencies though as things like beryllium actually denote molecular properties instead of purely elemental ones. I'm not trying to be a fussy b*****d that's just off the top of my head from GCSE science

Get a SATA one not another IDE. No point buying into old technology. Besides, a 1TB 32mb cache drive is now available for only £70 or so.

It differs slightly from each manufacturing company. Your best bet would be to get in touch with some local suppliers and ask for some small samples.

So you want sites to view you with an ip address of your choosing? If that's the case then I'm afraid there's no option to change it to what you want. You can change it, but not to something you specify. Its a randomly assigned code from a big long list of them that have been bought by your service provider. If you request a new one they take one of the ones not being used and assign it to you. You can force this by unplugging your modem if you have a provider that assigns a dynamic IP address, but if its a static one the only way to change it would be to get on the phone to your service provider as your ip address won't change unless they make it.

Auto-Mod Please use the bike pic thread.

http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....amp;hl=grinding Basically that's most of what i know about grinding rims. I've never really thought grinding at an angle was that effective, it certainly seem to slip more than the way shown above. The best thing I've found is to go in line with the hub (so the grind lines are like the image in that thread) and go round in a clockwise direction on each side of the wheel to give you better forwards and backwards hold.

I'm by no means an expert on this but i was always under the impression weights were for gaining muscle bulk (obviously i'm generalising) and cardio-vascular stuff was for reducing body fat/improving overall fitness. So I'd go with swimming, rowing, cycling, skipping etc and the pullups and stuff as James suggested.

Luckily they it doesn't make a scrap of difference whether they're there or not. Removing them would just be for the sake of aesthetics.
