No worries, i want to try and stay as impartial as i can when it comes to shops in the trials community in case someone takes it the wrong way or as the "official voice of the forum" or some rubbish like that.

No, but all the people saying "he never gets orders right, don't trust him" they're basing that on what they've read on here and from their own limited experience with dan. I'm just pointing out that threads about a company will never be good. I mean take tartybikes for example. They do a great job and loads of people love spending their money there and do so with great trust, yet despite how many people love them even they don't have many/any topics about how amazing they are. Sure there's the odd post here and there, but just searching for a shop name like someone suggested isn't an entirely accurate judge of character.

I think you have to remember that people don't get emotionally fired up enough to write about it when a good order is received so you only hear about bad ones. If an order goes though as planned its good but you don't go round making topics about the shop being competent now do you. Dan has had a fair few cases of bad service against him, but how many orders are carried out fine?

If people use this thread before 2am* tomorrow night there'll be consequences *ie any times between dawn this morning and 2am tomorrow.

I hope not because I am going to be attempting the left hand side mounting, I'll see how it goes. I'm sure I can make it all fit, will probably have to shorten certain lengths of pipework and use longer fuel lines. Failing that, it'll get stuck on carburettors.

Compression on all cylinders was fine, all where slightly above what I was expecting. No matter, that engine is out now anyway and spread all across the drive and garage floor. The new build will be based on the KR block, though should I get the right amount of time spent on it, it should be around 2.2l, though we'll see how things go. I have a few different blocks and heads to play with, and should be getting my hands on an Audi 5cyl engine at the end of the month, we'll have a play and see what I like. Only trouble with doing a straight KR swap is then air box/fuel/engine management unit will be on the wrong side, being on the right in a 16v Scirocco and on the left in a 16V golf..At least that's what I've been told. Doesn't make sense, I've got a few cars to go and look at over the next few weeks anyway. Got some photos to stick in here when I get home as well, just to show some updates 'n stuff.

I know there's two smaller bunkers in a nearby village to here. Apparently they weren't quite so secret, and they built a housing estate round it. When it came to taking them down at the end of the war they worked out the amount of dynamite needed to flatten them would level the houses too so they just stuck a load of mud on top and made them into hills. That would have been a good example, yes. Unless the tap is pouring orange juice, then it would be bad.

Having a Y splitter from a single video output won't enable for each screen to display a separate image. If you think about it, your card is outputting one thing, adding a cable with two ends won't give you two different images. You need a graphics card with two video outputs as dan said. if its not for gaming you can pick a relatively decent one up for around £25 that'll cope with dual screens and HD media and things like that no problem. Most modern ones come with two outputs as standard as well. EDIT: Damn your replying as I type!

If he pays via bank transfer and your both with the same bank its usually pretty quick. If its from say barclays to natwest its usually a couple of days. If it were me I'd send it in a tank full of ninja dwarves just to be on the safe side

I actually really enjoyed that. Always liked the song since i first watched ryan leech in manifesto. The track just seems to blend effortlessly with trials riding. As for the riding itself, well, i don't think i need to say much to be honest. Silly big just doesn't quite cut it
