Take everything out, and start again Thats the universal fix for everything. If that doesn't work then try someone elses RAM, it could be a possibility that the board is defaulting the RAM voltage too low for the RAM to power up, and as a consequence it won't post while the RAM is in. If you can get some other RAM stick and get into the bios you can change the default RAM voltage and put your RAM back in.

http://www.witness.co.za/?showcontent&global[_id]=11385 Woo, might be interesting... or might be nothing. Would it be good to meet other aliens or not?

You don't have to strum for half the solos on the guitar The beginning of through the fire in flames for example, because the notes are effectively just a set of hammer ons you can do it without strumming more than once.

I guess I'm gonna have phone up work to tell them i'm available every day EXCEPT saturday then. -
Riding looks absolutely top notch mate but then you've always been a bit of a beast. Looks like your getting on alright with the bike too. Watermarks were slightly annoying though, especially with bits of the pictures having been "missed" whilst photoshopping them.

Tell you what, i'd be far more impressed seeing someone open my beer using a cd or a baseball cap than having someone fling whats effectively just a bottle opener with a hole in the end around for 30 seconds before opening the thing.

Have you tired installing a different internet browser? If you use internet explorer try firefox and if you use firefox try IE or safari/opera. Sometimes the internet browser program retains old settings and if this is the problem installing a new piece of browsing software should let you know within a few minutes. The limited/no connection makes it sound like this may not be the issue though. Run through all the network troubleshooting things if you havn't already, and try loggin into the router from the working pc and the non working one to see if its a problem in the settings.

Which ones the last one? The third? Ending was pretty hectic, was both awesome and sad at the same time. Season 4 might feel a bit dragged out though.. but hey, there's monsters sweet cars and good music. It'll be more bare able than 80% of tv shows.

Dan Ko's Hydroxx is really nice. Not tried a carbon to compare it to though, but if it was me i'd be over the moon with the hydroxx.

I know they're more than likely not actually like that. But it was a bit of a recurring theme in that video, especially with that fat little kid at the beginning who looked like the kid from 'this is england'.

You say that now, just wait till you hear them talking. I knew who they were and i still thought they were a bit duff in the head, like proper window licker style. No offence guys.

And how does that relate to me not being able to find CONCIOUS (ONLY ONE 'S')? Not really to the rescue at all, just a big fat fail on your part
-
Spell checker sits it to concious No idea why though, can't seem to find a word concious

Peter F Hamilton's Knights Dawn trilogy is a good'un, it'll have you going for a while.

Yeah, not quoted, but used to understand. Had to do about it in humanities a couple of years ago and remembered wiki had a bit on it.
-
Its not laziness though, more a continuation against a trend of words similarly ending in "ous", like anonymous, prestigious and concious. The fact that genius isn't spelt the same way looks wrong to a lot of people because it looks like more of an American dumbed down spelling, like color. I think we really know who to blame here, the Americans. They've butchered the English language so much that when people see genius now they don't see it for the Latin word it used to be. In ancient Rome each man had a Genius and correspondingly, women had a Juno (note that the recent film titled Juno was a reference to her intelligence). Basically these Genii and Junones were ancient ancestors that were thought to guard over their descendants, over time they became thought of as closer to spirits or gods that granted a person with great intelligence. And a sacrifice was given to ones Genius or Juno on their birthday.

Ah ha ha, that made me laugh a fair amount man. Good work.

Wanker gets 14 pages... genious loses.

Would people stop editing quotes when they use them, exaggerating the truth is still a lie Won't do much good I'm afraid.

Okay the processor question is pretty easy. The dual core will have a faster clock, so it has a bit more grunt behind it. It'll be good for things like cod4 and general internet browsing etc. The quad core won't have as much raw power behind it, but it'll be far more able at things that are optimised for it. A 64bit operating system runs marginally smoother, encoding programs are far quicker and games like crysis always do better with a quad core than a dual because crysis is largly cpu limited so long as you have a half decent graphics card. Theres also the option of overclocking. Its relatively easy and makes the chip run faster than it does at standard. The Q6600 can reach around 3.0ghz-3.2ghz on the stock cooler and if you buy a slightly better cooler for it later on down the line you can crank that baby up to between 3.6ghz and 4.0ghz. I don't know for sure how high the 3.2ghz dual core chip goes but i'd imagine it'll be about 3.6-3.9ghz on the stock cooler and 3.9-4.3ghz with something better. Basically it'll top out slightly faster but won't be as good with half the amount of cores. Motherboards are a bit trickier, they all essentially do the same thing just some have a few extras that you'll more than likely never use. The main priority with a motherboard is reliability and compatibility. Its all very well buying a more expensive one but if its not compatible with several sets of ram, chances are it'll give you some hiccups down the line. I know first hand the gigabyte line are pretty good, i've been using a ds3r for the past year and its been truly faultless. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct....3%20Motherboard Thats the slightly newer version of mine and it supports high fsb rated chips, core2's and quads, DDR2 & DDR3 (should you upgrade when the prices of ddr3 are below £200) and has a shed load of SATA connections etc. The ASUS p5k/q series boards are pretty good too, my housemate bought the deluxe wifi one at just over £100 and with the exception of a weird bios menu layout its been pretty good for him. The 8800gt should handle crysis alright at your resolution, but if you can get a few pounds more the £80 8800gt then an ati 4850 will be slightly better. SLI isn't fantastic to be honest and a lot of the time your better off just getting a new card later on down the line. Theres a lot of people who have troubles with the SLI bridges and have incompatabilities in games because of it.

Casual gaming is people willing to spend £80-£100 because they want the game options up to high, hardcore gaming is classed as people who pay £400 odd pound for a graphics card only to sell it off and get a new one 2 months down the line. They want full settings and as much AA/AF/HDR as possible with a ridiculous framerate. A cheap card is just for multimedia, watching flms, going on the net and dabbling for 20 minutes in a 4 year old game that they got from the bargain bin at currys. 1680x1050 is a resolution big enough to push most graphics cards in modern games. Take crysis for example. My graphics card is an x1900xt clocked to just slightly over x1900xt speeds. It remains one of the fastest DX9 only cards available yet in modern games it struggles a bit at 1280x1024. It flies through things like half life 2 but thats not a new game. I'm looking at selling it and upgrading to an ati 4850 or 4870 as soon as my student loan comes through so i can get properly into level design using the cryengine 2. I'm classed as a casual gamer

Openmindedness. I love his posts, they're just so random and completely unprovoked with a little hint of retardedness that it actually makes them quite clever. They do say that its a very fine line between genius and insanity.

DDR2 memory timings don't really matter a great deal though. Nowhere near as much as they did with ddr1. More Mhz is a lot better than better timings. For point of relevance my 800mhz £30 ram got my £45 e2000 to 3.3Ghz on the stock cooler Is 200mhz really worth forking out an extra £80? Spending £50-70 is the sweetspot for a motherboard though, definately not £100 as there just isn't any need unless you want the built in wifi and stuff rather than using a plug in one. I'd spend around £100-£150 on graphics too because thats where you see the most gain with current games.
