His laptop is new and should be able to handle surround sound, any other hardware based functions like EAX won't be applied as the hardware isn't capable of running them. Reduce the graphics settings, an x600 doesn't sound like a powerful card and San andreas is a poor console port that's not terribly forgiving on pc graphics cards. Sound might also be being processed by your cpu, ensuring no background programs are running should free it up a bit to help it out, though with a dual core i'd doubt this is the case.

No they're not made from carbon fibre. They aren't claimed to be by the manufacturer either. Contact adhesive won't fix the flaking lacquer/coating either.

If those are the traction glasses, then are made from duraflex nylon instead of carbon.

I'd have to agree with adam, they do look more like plastic with a carbon print effect. Especially with the inside of the glasses not looking like carbon but more like plastic. Maybe plastic based and wrapped slightly in carbon? The effect doesn't look like carbon fibre though as adam said, carbon fibre looks a lot finer than that when viewed up close, not square and blocky.

Try adaware and spybot search and destroy. I'd say it looks more like malware than a virus. If it was a virus you'd have a message from your virus scanner, not a windows message. And a windows message certainly wouldn't link you to a "spyware remover".

Well if you found it the person who lost it will have most likely reported it as lost and got the IMEI number locked. This isn't unlock'able, as basically any time a phone tries to get a signal it transmits the IMEI number to the satellite or mast its trying to reach. When they block the IMEI number the phone unit won't work in the uk at all. Most providers use the same list of accepted IMEI numbers too so changing the sim for a different one (o2, vodafone etc) might work, but more than likely won't.
