  1. s'all groovy now i hope :P" just spoke to his mum :P and she was very nice and said she had 4 parcels to send tomorrow :ermm: including mine :P so if anyone else is expecting something-expect it within the enxt few days-turns out he is at his girlfriends and is too lazy to send everything :D cheers for everything guys-espeacially adam (punkrider) who gave me the numbers :P
  2. wtf i put that in and i got a sewing website :"> weird!!!
  3. http://www.nass04.com/ for some reason they are using last years site :ermm: strange i wanna go but last year my bike got stolen-kinda putting me off :P
  4. he he, seems about right cheers lads for you help, i may be in touch with you soon adam if i dont buy the brake off that lad and danny-gold never looks tacky  you will all be soooooo jealous when you see how sexy my base looks :S
  5. ahh cheers mate  im sure he isnt at all bad-infact a very nice guy to chat to(well on msn :P ), its just i couldnt get hold of him and i was gettin worried :"> if you could let him know ive been asking about it and remind him to send it, if at all possible that would be good :S
  6. hey, i sent this guy some kit in return for a front wheel, he has stopped using msn since he received my stuff and has not sent my wheel. i dont know what his username on tf is but he was in the new members section not long ago as he advertised the wheel if anyone can help me get in contact with him it would be much appreciated btw he lives in folkestone, kent thanks guys
  7. cant measure the mono trial till i get it :D okily dokily i sure could-they wouldnt anodise it surely? wouldnt they just fit a new cap (easier for them :D" ) id much rather do it myself-buy new cap and tool cos then i dont have to wait around and can get riding... :D is it worth giving a bigger rotor a go though? ive always found with my previous hopes that bigger is better-i guess i shall have to wait and see (Y)
  8. eyup, i should be purchasing a mono trial this week and wanted to pimp it up a bit with some gold bits and bobs with a new gold bore cap, gold hose ends and a gold top cap (i have a black and gold theme with my bike) :D anyway all those tasks are simple to do but i was curious about the bore cap sizing, the mono trial comes with a silver bore cap as standard as many of you may well know..........but i want a gold one :D , i currently own a mono mini on my xc bike and was wondering if i could do a straight swap of the bore caps? (i know i'll need the specific tool which i don't mind buying and the silver would suit the xc bike better :) ) they both look the same size in pics but i wanted to make sure as i know they have different internals.... and whilst im at it-is it worth fitting a 180mm rotor? (this mono trial isnt brand new and is 160) im 13stone-getting heavier :"> and i have been pretty happy with my 160mm avid so far but have noticed it slip on the odd occasion (but thats partially due to a poor set up at 1 point :"> ) are those adaptor things any good-i.e. any problems with them coming loose often? and which is the best one to go for? (Y) cheers lads (and lasses perhaps) :D
  9. yep, they come with the adaptor to fit, might be worth asking the shop just before you buy though (my cousins hayes went straight onto his IS mount with the mount adaptor supplied)
  10. ermm not square taper i know but the new dmr crisis cranks look well worth a shot :o they look 3 piece cranks but are actaully isis(which still makes them 3 piece lol) :S
  11. www.billys.com they sell them give them a ring

    Hope Bulb

how old is it? maybe the freehub bearings are dead, or the axle is bent?
  13. they just clip in-its hard to say without showing you buts very easy, just wiggle the spoke head in the hole and you will soon see how it fixes :P sorry i cant be much more specific

    My New Ride

those frames are absolutely beautiful to ride with 100mm forks-they handle amazingly well and are true manual machines (Y) im surprised to see a trials set up on 1 though-i like the looks of it but i reckon some longer forks would make it look so much better(and possibly handle better-yeah i know i havent ridden 1 with short forks so i cant really say.....) anyway nice bike-as long as you have fun on it who cares about the low bb! (Y)

    Nass 2005

have you got all the help you need? if not then i am free and willing to help. i have lots of experience working with large objects (i own a farm and have to move that kind of stuff about!) and im not too shabby at the old woodworking either (Y) get in touch with me if you need me ;) and i also have 2 friends who are very good at woodwork (1 of which i believe has experience with building skate ramps if that is at all helpful?) cheers, paul
  18. yeah go 4 it, mite come on my jump bike though :D
  19. yeah 853 is good stuff but maybe get in contact with curtis bikes-see if they can help you out getting some T45 (Y) and get in touch with leeson bikes-im sure they would both be happy to help you (Y)
  20. im pretty sure 4 bolt mounts are 100mm apart whereas 2 bolt are 80mm :( (i measured several bikes and found these were the common measurements for my as level design coursework-give or take a few mm!!) any 4 bolt booster will fit as far as im aware of and obviously you cant fit a 2 bolt 1 on..... (Y) so no xtr booster for you try an echo contro boosterl-they look beastly and cant be worse than an rb (ok rbs arent that bad but do flex alot still) personally i dont think you can beat making your own :) (Y)
  21. i havent tried braided hosing on an hs33 (only on hope discs and it made a huge difference-goodridge) but i did hear the hosing that supercycles sells is utter bollox so dont bother gettin that marc personally id like to try out some of the new hope hosing (yay gold stuff!!!!!) i reckon they are capable of making something well :ermm: o yeah marc get someone experienced to fit the hosing or at least show you-my first attempts with hydro hose went a bit ermmmm wrong  got it sussed now  also whats the point in gettin front hosing for you magura? you told me you were gonna get a front disc in the not too distant future........... anyways dont bother gettin the hosing yet-you have much more important things to buy like frame, forks, wheels, tyres, cranks, etc etc

    New Hub

it makes sense-it seems like the next step for rear brakes really-discs will eventually be designed well enough for trials and frames will get designed properly!! i personally wish i could run a rear disc as i find they are so much more consistent than maguras and more comfy so this new hope hub-how much is the front 1 to match? and are they really worth buying as too gettin the king hubs? ive had a king and liked it and am running a bulb at the moment- i like that too(pity the freehubs are weak (Y) ) i have the money for either so i dunno what to do-get what everyone else has/wishes they could have or be one of the first to own the new hope (Y) arrrgh (Y)
  23. THAT WAS MINT!!!! wow! i cant believe how great trials was back then!!! to think we all winge if we dont have our king, hope or profile hubs and watever compound pads to really on stopping us!!!! look what they were riding :"> some of the riding was sketch and that made it better somehow (Y) loving it alot  good find tart :ermm:
  24. mate if you need some cranks to borrow i have a few sets :turned: and they are 10x better than the power poos-what happened to your ACs?
