    New Hub

Now we see the true meaning (Y) hehe! I agree though, I'd run a non-disc version over a disc hub if i had the choice, and i think a lot of people would (Y) Good point... you'd have cried seeing me take one to my mates King hub then (Y)"
  2. Indeed you have... You need a vice, basically, its pretty much impossible without (Y) In fact, I've never seen one come off intact, even with the use of a vice (Y) !

Hows that happen? Flange spacing will be very very similar (if not the same) as a non-disc hub (Y) Could also argue shorter spokes = stronger build. Weight weenie? Angle grinder (Y)" Nah, theyve done it because the hub is also set to replace (when fitted with alloy freehub and hollow axle) the XC Ti and Bulb - both of which have disc mounts...
  4. Angle grinder and a hammer/chisel (Y)
  5. Aahhh genius! This is good too: http://funnyjunk.com/movies/59/Everything+...y/stream/medium (the end is the best bit)
  6. They do indeed, but theres only so many different shapes you can make into an I-beam section. Check out the Zoo cranks here - look quite different... http://tartybikes.users.digital-crocus.com...e=zoocranks.jpg Dan - they look pretty cheap to me, thats why i say that. Look very similar to the old megamo cranks, in both styling and finish. Also the same material. But hey, have to see how they go I guess. Woodman dont have the best reputation for trials stuff either...

    New Hub

Haven't got one, sorry - like I said, only got pics of the important bits :ermm:" Someone else may have one though. Ads

    New Hub

Nope, sorry, only got pics of the important bits :ermm: It looks nice though, similar to a Bulb. Pretty much, different springing system though, and I would say that the pawls are a better design than the Profile ones (personal view based on engineering principles) since the ends are flat rather than 'pointy'.
  9. Took the words right out of my mouth  As soon as you stop pedalling for an instant, you slow down pretty fast - keep your pedalling continuous to maintain speed :ermm:
  10. Nah, its not that long actually. Bout 1100.

    New Hub

All that info is on the site :ermm: 48 clicks, 4 pawls, offset in 24 tooth ratchet. Pawls are totally redesigned though, as you'll have no doubt read and seen "

Here you go gents (click the picture) (You may have to hit refresh to see the new item) Cheers, Adam
  14. Aahhh youre making it up! Nah, i'd just woken up and was busy eating, thats my excuse (Y)" Anyway, all of what i said stands, apart from the 'water' reference (Y)
  15. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....49809&hl=insert ?
  16. Couple of pointers: - Don't use GT85, it'll stick everything up. - Make sure you flush everything through first Question: - Whats wrong with your water bleed Mark?
  17. Aaah, I see now... it was a square taper one? The Power Pro square taper BBs do tend to have a bit of a reputation (Y)" (Used to work in a shop where most of the Marin XC bikes were fitted with them, eugh) Good choice sir - should last at least as long as your frame (Y)
  18. Twiddle the reach adjuster then! :P
  19. Thats a bad pic of a black one, lol. I'll get a pic of green front XC hub now... gimme a few mins :( Adam
  20. I asked about the fork facing as it often sorts out 'mushy' brakes. Might be worth getting in touch with Hope again - i'm sure they'll help you out. However, its nothing to be worried about, can't say i even notice it while riding :(
  21. Must say I also like mine - great lever feel (a bit softer than, say, a C2 or Magura - which ive found to allow me to modulate it better), ooodles of power (although im a fatty and gone for a 205 rotor :(" ), very light, same Hope machining quality as always. Ive not found the pad movement to be a problem at all while riding, too busy concentrating on other stuff! Matt - have you had your fork mounts faced? Adam
  22. Sweet vid Ben, again, some damn big stuff in there as well! Good to see you on some rocks as well, get yourself back down here and we'll head off to Bracken or Dudwood for the day :( Nice one, Ads
  23. Ah, so 'sand blasted' (sand bash, hehe) before anodising then, creating a matt finish rather than gloss :ermm: As well as the sidewall channel difference (compared to the older style rims): http://www.vizbikes.com/newrim19.jpg
