  1. Yeah its wrong for obvious reasons, its all about respect. I think its sad to see people have such little respect for those that died for our freedom. Also we have a hard enough time trying to get accepted with out being thrown out every where. Mindless damage to memorials doesnt exactly help our case? Those that do ride them should think about what there doing on both levels, its just a backwards step otherwise. Harry
  2. Should be fine, seen it done before. just make sure you leave the free ones sapced evenly around, dont leave th four hole spokeless together obviously cos it will bunkle otherwise. Harry msn (Littleharrys@hotmail.com)
  3. Yeah i know what you mean, usually punctures. But as you get better parts over time if cant afford them all at once it happens less. I used to have some fsa power pro cranks when i started, they lasted 6 months, they kept coming lose and were rubbish, i upgraded to middleburns, not had a problem in 4 years. It may be expensive, but you get what you pay for. Harry (Littleharrys@hotmail.com)
  4. Alot of pros tend to ride maguras on the back with a disc on the front. Harry.
  5. Practice track stands. practice, practice in the words of martin hawyes. Harry
  6. Shins on the pedals, knees on the stem or frame Harry
  7. Hey guys, will bring the portsmouth uni trials guys. Harry (Littleharrys@hotmail.com)
  8. We will be moving all over the place, city centre, old portsmouth and all through southsea. This ride is for all ability riders, so no excuses, a few people are worried cos they have just started riding, come along anyway and I garentee you will learn something. There will be loads of people willing to help you out if its the basics or some crazy stuff. I can teach you the basics, will get some of the pros to show off a bit more. Any worries ask me or jon = stuntsbyjon@hotmail.com Its the best way to learn. Harry msn (Littleharrys@hotmail.com)
  9. You have to make good quality posts, also by giving usefull information to other riders. Read as much stuff as you can and take part in the polls etc. If not start your poll. Dont put like one word answers etc, One thing that doesnt help is asking about how to become a full member. They tell you that at the start. At the top of the posts there is a section saying "First Visit? Read this" Have a look at the guidlines and rules to give you a better idea. Its on the thin bar at the top of the screen, just above new mambers chat. Harry (Littleharrys@hotmail.com)
  10. If you run tar they will prob make alot of noise. I used to run it. But now I am running the Rim Jam Blue pads on clean non ground rims. They work perfectly in the dry, lame in the wet i find. But even on the website they say have the coolest little squaek. It true every time you hope they sound cool. I really like it, it like on the evolve video when each hop gives a squaek. But if your a super smooth rider and want silence when you land. The reason it squaeks is because the pad is slipping causing vibrations. The higher pitch and shorter the squaek the better cos the is less slippage, its locking on, some people find it too grabby and prefer a little slip or to feather the brake. It all down to personal preference and rider style. Harry (Littleharrys@hotmail.com)
  11. Its a fairly good point, I have a helmet but dont wear it all the time, I really should. Cos its better to look alittle "uncool" whilst riding after you face plant something, than have you face look uncool for the rest of your life. Also I think its better to encourage the younger riders that they should were then, it set an example when they look up to better riders. Harry (Littleharrys@hotmail.com)
  12. 661 gloves are pretty good, clever little grippy things for the brakes and thick padding were needed on the palm etc or Race Face which were my last pair. Id say go with 661 cos theres a bit more padding Catch you all at the Portsmouth ride, You better be there. Harry. (Littleharrys@hotmail.com)
  13. I think we should put the time back for the 2 minute silence, 1045 is to early. Make it later because more people will have time to arrive and be a part of it. What do you all think? Harry
  14. Amendment - Fratton is the second station on the island, the one after Hilsea. For those going to the party at jons. For the ride get off at Portsmouth and southsea, the 3rd stn on the island. Check to see which stns your train stops at!! Harry (Littleharrys@hotmail.com)
  15. Yeah was a cool ride today, shame it rained so much but at least we got most of the day. See you all at the dj Ride portsmouth, take care guys and girls. Harry
  16. Jon I have got my proper video camera, you seen it before, so I will be filming all day. But need to free up the other tapes. Or get some more. Would like to get mike round to show how i can record it to my hard drive using prem pro. Catch you on messenger to sort it. Harry
  17. The flip over the bars that the mad team do is not the same, that is much easier than it looks. But try pulling the front brake on and doing the splits to get your legs over the bars and letting go of the bars. You land in front of your bike. Kinda cool. Front flip drop off, cool idea huh? Thats what martin ashton was trying when he broke his back wasnt it?, he was gonna show it off at the bike show that year. Harry
  18. Well some v mixed feelings about this. I dont think he should have moved, as for the bikes, they dont look too nice even if they are solid. Harry
  19. Hold onto the bike, I kinda stopped riding for a year, but now back into it more than ever. So glad I held on to it. Harry
  20. I use the fox Neoprene pads, v comfy and they go round the back too. There about 35 quid. Harry

    Little Vid

Yeah man cool vid. Was an ace day out. Harry
  23. Martin Hawyes has been signed by Diamondback which is owned by Raleigh. Seems like a random move? They already have a mod and a stock bike out already. http://www.diamondback.co.uk/trials/index.html It looks a bit rubbish. See what you think. Harry (Msn) Littleharrys@hotmail.com
  24. Yeah its been done on alot of things, anything your slipping on. If your just strating I think thats a good idea. As you get better youll find you dont need to bother. Some people also use sand paper which you can get with a sticky back to put on things. The martins use it in Tricks and Stunts 2. Have a look Harry
  25. Page 20 in this months MBUK. He is balenced on this tiny rock about a mile above monaco. Trust me its worth a look. Harry
